Very spacious house, full kitchen, good beds, quiet place.

The place was in a lovely and quiet environment. Within a few minutes you were in Griethoorn or in surrounding cities. The house had a quaint atmosphere and there were many beautiful artworks to look at within the house. In front of the house you could relax in a wonderful garden. Bicycles were available for short distances or excursions. Anne was a very warm host and always helpful. Thanks for the wonderful time.

Els welcomed us at the entrance, had some cinnamon-sprinkled apple pie (our favourite!) & tea waiting for us. She showed us whats available in the house & thereafter, in a story-telling mode, told us how Giethoorn existed. What a talent! Being in the house is just like stepping into a storybook. Despite everything being old, they are well-maintained. Would love to return for the nicely equipped house & peaceful environment & of course, the ever-friendly, lively Els!
