Hans Magnar's shepherds gave us just the cabin stay we wanted - peaceful surroundings, view to great mountains in the middle of an area full of other sets. Great hiking opportunities in the area. Easy to heat the cabin with two good wood stoves and a lovely fireplace space. Hans Magnar told a lot of nice stories about the space, which is an inherited seat, which gave that little extra to the stay. Thank you so much for us!

This was amazing! Such a beautiful hut with a very peaceful view. Simple but great facilities, easy hiking paths just in front of the house. Highly recommend staying here for a couple of days. Take food up so you dont have to go down, and enjoy the bubble!

It was a wunderfaul experience to stay in this beautifully arranged and decorated house with it´s old furniture and stuff. Carsten welcomed us with a detailed plan, showed us everything and handed us over a perfectly cleaned place with burning candles, firewood etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it for families looking for peace, beautiful nature and nordic skiing.

An absolutely perfect place for cross-country skiing for the whole family - age 2 - 74 years. We were 2 adults, 4 children and 2 grandparents for 7 days. The cabin was really nice and very spacious. Nothing was missing! Lovely with sauna after a good day skiing. Beautiful view of mountains and sunrise every morning. We were lucky with the weather and had pretty much good weather (sun) all week:). A ski area that offers many different slopes. Please check the Norwegian website ski track and search Skåbu. The trails were continuously driven up by Skåbu Tverrbygda løybelag (search FB - there are ongoing photos from the area) The host was very helpful, which was really nice:). All in all, a really nice place that can definitely be recommended♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.

Jan has built a beautiful cabin with all the comforts in a calm and serene place where I have had plenty of space to relax and unwind. Great and will definitely be happy to come back.

We had a great week. We walked nicely in the snow. During the Christmas days we visited the church services in Heidal. The house and the area are well worth it! Ingunn was always very helpful. thanks Ingunn👍

We were welcomed by Anders' Dutch neighbour Evert and felt right at home! The volunteers from different nationalities were super friendly and showed us around. The view into the valley is magical. No chance to get bored with the sheep, the dogs (walking loose, our little kids were a bit intimidated by them), of course the people around to have a drink and talk with, the 'leine merino' shop (you should definitely buy some local wool!). The kids had a lot of fun! If you don't mind the chance of a bumped head or a splinter here and there, you'll find this a wonderful place to stay!!

One of the nicest places to spend days! With perfect weather, you have something to rest your eyes on wherever you turn your head! Good beds, duvets, and pillows! And well with fresh and good water under 1m from the house wall. Efficient furnaces make you never miss either water or electricity.

We love the house and i highly recommend it, definitely will come back to it, the house location is really amazing and has such a nice view Lene and her husband are such a nice people very friendly For sure am coming back

Awesome! We had the pleasure of spending two nights in these newly restored storehouses. The stables have lots of old charm, while having all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. We traveled with two small children, and the host provided many great tips for trips and activities nearby. This accommodation is recommended:)
