An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can cycle, go on mountain hikes right out of the farm, rustle in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

Jotunheimen - 15 minutes from Gjende and Besseggen.

Architect designed cabin in Sjodalen Fjellgrend at the entrance to Jotunheimen national park. The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. There are great hiking areas all year round, whether you like prepared ski tracks or the snow mountain in winter and mountain shoes or bike in the summer. There is an eldorado for fishing and hunting in the autumn and many mountain hikes are clear outside the cabin door on mountain skis or randone in the spring.

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park.

Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

Here it is possible to go straight out for miles of cross country tracks, stand on alpine skiing, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain hikes in Jotunheimen. By further agreement, you can borrow to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for fishing in the mountains.

Here you can relax and enjoy the sunset from both the porch and the sofa. The house has all amenities and is a good fit for couples. Nearby you will find nice hiking options and several exciting activities. In Otta center you find among other things Amfi shopping center and the delicacy store Døkakød.

Own Mountain Pub is also available on site. Our SagaFjøl is very popular, a taste of the mountain consisting of cheese and sausage. No dog is allowed in these cottages. Find peace and enjoy nature in our great house! Here you can choose between reading a book in front of the fireplace, or going for a long hike. The house was originally built in the 1700s and has recently been moved to today's location and put together with another house. Here you can experience the mountain in an authentic way.
