"Old village school" on Lake Schwerin

The 80 m² apartment is located on the upper floor of an old village school in Wickendorf on the northern outskirts of Schwerin, 7 km to the center. Lake Schwerin is a few minutes walk away and easily accessible for a morning bath. The bright apartment with private entrance consists of e i n e m large living/bedroom area with adjoining o f f e n e r kitchen and a separate large shower room. There is a lot of space for 2-3 people and you can always find small artistic details in the apartment. The double bed has the dimensions of 2.0 x 2.0 m, a third single bed (normal size) Other mattresses can be provided by the landlord. The kitchen is furnished with a fridge (without an icebox) and an electric stove with oven. The car can be parked at the in-house yard. The bus usually runs hourly to the city within 12 minutes. Also by bike along the lakes you are in the city center in about 30 minutes. Bicycles as well as the large, former school garden are welcome to use by arrangement. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Pets can be brought with you after consultation and consent of the landlords.

Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Welcome to Mecklenburg on the Baltic Sea in an orchard in a village on a lake. The cat is called Traveller and takes care of our construction trailer when we have guests. The two construction trailers can accommodate 1 to 4 (or 5) people. There is a large sun terrace overlooking forest and meadows, a fire pit, 3 bikes and lots to discover. Nearby: swimming lakes (4 km), Baltic Sea beach (29 km), Schwerin, Wismar, Lübeck, nature, horses & beautiful Mecklenburg countryside.

The Schwalbenhof and our little troll by the pond

A large, old three-sided farm in the middle of the countryside, one hectare of natural garden, a small lake, a jetty.... And at the very end of the property you can see our old-timer caravan. ... flocks of swallows and the concert of frogs, a sea of flowers and a wildflower meadow, beautiful views of the hilly landscape ... and lots of peace and quiet! You can spend a very relaxing time here in the middle of nature. Not much happens here, but what does happen is wonderful.
