4 Bed in AYR (90038)

SophieRating, 5 stars14 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Swan Bothy! The rooms were incredibly comfortable and clean and the cottage was spacious, cosy and relaxing. The views onto the loch were serene and all bedrooms faced onto it so we all woke up every morning with a gorgeous view. The hot tub was a great size and the owners were reachable and quick to help when we needed help with turning the temperature up. We would love to stay again!!

cow boy Cabin - uk47145

KellyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Rural and rustic this is a gem off a place to stay of you want away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything was exactly as described. Hazel met us as soon as we arrived and showed us around and made us feel at home straight away. Hot tub is amazing and Hazel checks it every day to make sure its good. The firepit and bbq were a welcome bonus. Spending nights round a fire before relaxing in the hottub was great :) Everyone on the farm makes you feel welcome and will do anything for you to ensure your stay is the best.

Shurig Cottage with Sauna + Games Room

Abigail NatalieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Shurig cottage as family of 4 (kids 4 and 2 years) and grandad! The hosts were really helpful with pre trip and during the trip especially with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The accommodation was spotless and had all amenities needed. We loved the modern cosy cottage feel! The outdoor space was great too! Highlights of the trip included blackwaterfoot beach which was a great sandy beach for the kids and we even had the kayak out too, Mara fish restaurant in Corrie, seals seen on the west coast, hiking to Machrie Moor standing stones and Kings cave! Both Brodrick castle and the Thyme cafe had great outdoor play areas for the kids (we loved the Pide there too)! We also loved Arran butchers and the bakehouse in Blackwaterfoot! Hamilton cottages is a perfect base for these activities and we will hopefully be back soon! Thank you!

The Coach House at Hawkstone Lodge

MhariRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had the loveliest stay, the location is perfect with access down to the beach and beautiful surroundings, and garden which we could use. The coach house itself is cosy and bright and very well kitted out. Everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The wood burning stove is a great addition! We can’t wait to come back, we love the Isle of Bute!

Lamlash Cottage with Spectacular Views

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Waking up in the morning and seeing the great view across the bay is one of the best things about the cottage’s location. There are a selection of restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walking distance for meals and if you are willing to drive there is an even bigger selection within 20 minutes. There are plenty of things to do on Arran. We tried sea kayaking, visiting the Discovery Centre in Lamlash and visiting the island’s museum and castle. There is no central heating in the cottage but the storage heaters and supplementary heating provide more than enough warmth. There are two double bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom with a double bunk bed downstairs. The living room, kitchen and shower/toilet are downstairs too. Our host was friendly and very quick to respond to any queries we had and provided all of the necessary information before we arrived. This was our first trip to Arran but won’t be our last. I would recommend this property for your stay on this beautiful island.

Fencefoot Farm

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fencefoot Farm and were only sorry we didn’t meet Bernard. The restaurant on the same site was absolutely brilliant, delicious fresh food and extremely good value. The house is a little noisy being close to the main road, but we did know that in advance, and the garden was enclosed and safe for our dogs. We had a good 4 days with the most amazing sunny spring weather

Cosy, detached Coach House with garden, nr the sea

LouiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great few days at Kates cottage. The weather was very kind to us on the whole (just one wet day out of 5, but it was very wet!) Enjoyed a day out at Ardentinny, lovely setting for a picnic and the dogs loved swimming in the loch. Also enjoyed the very winding, narrow road drive to Tighnabruaich where we spent a lovely sunny afternoon.

A cosy place in the beautiful setting on the front of Lamlash. Had all the amenities and when we needed something hosts Andy and Sherie were helpful to supply. Very dog friendly and exactly what we needed as a base while walking in Arran.

The Beach Cottage, Troon

FauveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had an unforgettable stay in Troon for a recent golf trip and tournament at Royal Troon. The Airbnb was the perfect home base—immaculately clean, comfortable, and just a short distance from the course. It was amazing to relax after long days on the green, and the location made everything super convenient. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even sharing some great local spots for food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—would absolutely come back next time I’m in town for golf!

Bellevue Farm Cottages - Garden Cottage

CelinaRating, 5 stars83 months ago
Ailsa & her husband gave a very warm welcome to their cozy and well-equipped cottage. The quiet surroundings and very comfortable bed made for some great sleeping, and I was thrilled to open the curtains one morning to see a red squirrel scamper across the garden. The cottage is a very short walk from Blackwaterfoot, and we thought that the food at the Blackwater Lodge was especially good. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage (and on Arran)!

The Sleepy Sheepy - 2 bedroom, Self-catering

StephenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Lovely stay, myself and two daughters (12 and 10) who enjoyed spending the time with the animals on the farm more than anything else we did outside of it!! ☺️ accommodation was lovely and we’d definitely go back! Ailsa was lovely, checked in with us to ensure all was well and gave us a tour of the farm even though it was obviously a busy time for her! Can’t fault the location, or the host one bit! ☺️

The Cottage, Whiting bay, Isle of Arran

AimeeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely stay at the cottage. Great to have outdoor space with table and chairs to enjoy our breakfast alfresco and a few sundowners on the bench in the back in the evening. Both areas fenced and safe for the dog to be off the lead. The cottage is in an ideal location for the beach the park and the licensed local shop “Bay Store” which serves a good coffee. 20 ish minutes walk to the pub “The Shurig” where we enjoyed a good meal. Would definitely come back to Whiting Bay and The Cottage!

Remote and cosy cottage with great views

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic time! The location at the South end of the island worked very well for us, and we had lots of lovely walks all a short drive away. It's definitely rural, with fields, horses, cows at the bottom of the nice little garden. Some dogs next door bark occasionally but it was never a problem. It's at the end of a farm track, which was fine as long as you drive slowly. Definitely recommended!
