This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.
“Randi & Liz were adorable and very attentive to our needs. The cabin is intimate and very warm, nestled in a meadow in the heart of the forest. It is rustic but has everything you need to be comfortable. Randi was kind enough to let us enjoy outdoor games (swing, tree house). We strongly recommend both for the home and the frame! PS: We have discovered beautiful places that we advise you: - Wild Center Museum Seaplane ride on Long Lake -Handled at Pharoa Mountain (plan 3h / 3h30 d ascent with young children)”
It is time to play in the Snow and on the Ice !!! Located in the village of Schroon Lake. Less than 10 mins walk to public beach and public boat docks & launch.30 mins to Gore Mountain, 35 min to the Lake George Village & 50 mins to White Face Mountain. Home is located on the Snowmobile trail system and across the street of Rt 9 for easy access for ice fishing in the winter months
“This place was better than I expected, the pics are great on the app but it doesn’t do it justice. The cabin was bigger than I thought and it smelled brand new. Everything was new, shower had great water pressure, kitchen had water stocked in the fridge, a booklet with all the info you need to stay there and the place was warm when we arrive. I was very impressed, location was great. If you want a great place with a great price book this cabin. The owners really know what the word hospitality means.”
The River Cabin is a simple but beautiful original log home that has a gorgeous view of Schroon River and Schroon Falls. It is privately located on a quiet lot but also only 200 feet off of Route 9. This cabin was built in 1977, by our family. It has access to a private swimming hole where you can kayak, swim, fish or just hang out. This cabin has a full kitchen, living room with propane fire place, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The basement has a unique game room with poker table and bar.
“I took my boyfriend here as a Valentine’s Day gift- he’s very outdoorsy, and me... not so much. I was definitely prepared to feel out of my element, but both Bonnie and the cabin were warm and inviting. This is a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with those you love. Everything was clean, tidy, and cozy (no easy feat, considering it was -11 degrees outside!). Bonnie showed us around, told us everything we needed to know, and provided everything we needed. We spent most of the weekend in, and never felt cooped up or bored. I would definitely recommend!”
