Monthly Rentals in North Sea Canal

We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated, a peaceful and inviting space where we felt confortable right away. Everything was clean, cosy, and thoughtfully arranged. Wilf is a kind and attentive host who made us feel genuinely welcome. Thank you so much, Wilf, for this lovely experience. We would love to return one day !

The hosts were able to give us a smile while our trip did not go as planned due to parking problems (fines, exorbitant fees, etc.). They even offered to drop us off in cities to save us parking. Arriving on the houseboat everything went well we even had the surprise of receiving sweets as well as a small metal house typical of the area. The showers are paying but don't panic our hosts also thought about giving us a euro/person/day in order to shower us for free. We can only recommend this place which is crazy charming! We had the best time at Romke‘s apartment. Check-in experience was great, the apartment is comfortable, stylish and thoughtfully equipped (we loved the Rituals products in the bathroom). Parking was very convenient and only a short walk from the apartment. The location was perfect for visiting Amsterdam (via public transport - bus stop nearby), Haarlem (approx 15 min by car) and tulip fields (approx 30 min by car). The surroundings are beautiful and we loved sitting outside and listening to the birds in the garden and enjoying an evening walk in Spaarnwoude. Romke is the kindest host and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves at all times. We will for sure come back to this great place 💯
