Waterfront vacation rentals in Notodden Municipality

My husband and I spent 5 days at Stein's place. It was small, but tidy and clean. The kitchen had everything i needed to make all our meals, and the bed was comfortable. There are several grocery stores within 5 min walk, along with a number of restaurants and stores. Stein was very friendly and the view of the waterfall was great. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Well I have to say that it will be one of my favourite place to stay ever! Mari have super-taste so the place is stunning. Everything was ultra clean, we feel very comfortable and with beautifull view from terrace you dont need anything else. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Had a great vacation! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house. Unfortunately, the stove/open was not so easy to use. PlayStation 4, gym and kayak were not available (as advertised). Too bad!

The house is great. The environment is fabulous! Right in the middle of winter it was perfect! Very well-equipped!

Beautiful location and a wonderful stay - the surroundings and the house are fantastic, we enjoyed swimming and boating in the lake, the beautiful surroundings and the evenings with family and friends BBQ and quality time outside on the terrace. The sunsets and shooting stars were magnificent. Jon was very attentive if we had any questions. Already homesick to this beautiful place, we'd love to come back sometime!

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

Super stay at Otstein’s place! Perfectly located for a ski trip & cosy apartment

Really loved my stay here! Had Everything I needed and was cosy and homely. 15 minutes walk into Skien and 10mins to a little beach on the water.

The stay in Andreas place was sooo perfect. Beautiful view on the river, clean appartment, grocery shop 1 min of walking away. Andreas was very friendly and help me with all of my needs. I am defenetly come back to this appartment!

We had a fantastic stay! There is a superb view over the lake, the flat is lovely and has all amenities needed even some toys for children. The host is very friendly & welcoming. This was a great location for us in winter to head to the ski slopes which are only a few minutes drive away.

Cozy and nice accommodation with very short distance to both the piste and cross country ski tracks. Beautiful view over Gaustatoppen. Clean, fresh and a nice and helpful host who gave clear directions and great instructions for checking in. Impressive (albeit slightly hilly) cross-country trails and perfect lift system for a weekend in Gaustablikk.
