Vacation rentals with a firepit in Ocoee River

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

Nicks place exceeded our expectations. We had a blast and had plenty of room for our guys motorcycle trip. I would definitely rent again.

This place was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay, including plenty of firewood! The house and amenities were easy to navigate, the light switches were all labeled! One thing that stood out was the smell of the towels and linens. I usually expect scratchy towels that have a bleached smell. These were soft and smelled like they were fresh out of the dryer. Great host and I will definitely book this property again!!

This tiny home/treehouse was the perfect escape from all the stress of the world. I enjoyed every minute from sitting in the jacuzzi to warming up in front of the fire place! The grill was also a handy amenity that we throughly enjoyed. I love how the small space provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy God’s creation. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Fantastic stay. The house was perfect and the fenced in yard was great. We loved that the deck was gated too.

Highly recommend this Airbnb! Kim was super sweet, highly responsive and has thought of everything in the house. The kitchen is equipped with almost any cooking tool/pots & pans. The house comes with plenty of towels & toiletries. Besides the river, the coffee bar was probably my favorite part of the house; what a well thought out & fully stocked coffee bar! I had 2 special requests and Kim was wonderful about both. Check in was easy-peasy. The river is stunning. We enjoyed cool wildlife like beavers floating down the river & hawks flying above clutching their catch of the day. And so many birds singing! We enjoyed a very clean hot tub after a long day of canoeing & hiking. I also loved the special touch of seasonal decor throughout the home showing extra care about their guest’s experience making it feel like home. The kids enjoyed the pool/air hockey table a lot so that was a great feature upstairs! Thanks Kim!

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

we really enjoyed our weekend away!! the lake was beautiful and we loved taking the kayaks out to fish and see more of the nature. it was so lovely to sit on the water in the hammock swings and read, we spent most of our time there. we caught a few catfish off the dock which was very exciting. the owners were lovely and friendly and ginger (their dog) was the nicest AirBnB host i’ve ever had :) will definitely be booking again in the future.

We loved to stay here, it is so peaceful, the furniture and the decorations are beautiful and the beds are really comfy. The porch at the river is outstanding to sit there and to enjoy the sunset. Wally Hindman replied always fast and I recommend the place highly and we will definitely come back.

This place was the calm and relaxing we needed! It was gorgeous, cozy and comfortable! There was tons to do locally and lots of outdoor activities. The best part was the hot tub after a day of hiking! 10/10 Will be back on our next trip. Host Scott was responsive and attentive.

Great location in downtown Ellijay, plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.

This is a wonderful place to stay - and our third time at this location. Clean, close to SAU, comfortable with very amenities, nicely decorated, and great communication from Nina. Highly recommend!

Jill’s place was so relaxing and accommodating (with all the informational notes around the house), felt like home. My boyfriend, myself, our fur babies really enjoyed our little getaway stay! Jill was quick and responsive to any questions I had. My favorite spots of the house were the swing and the hot tub !! Thanks for opening your home 🏠 Hoping to be back soon

We really enjoyed Zoltan and Leslie’s place! We were skeptical about going this weekend because of the threat for severe weather, but we decided to take a chance and I’m so glad we did. We didn’t even feel the strong winds and rain. The place is just like it’s described and it’s a great place to escape the busy city life. There’s plenty to see around the cabin and our family had a great time. Will definitely be visiting again!

Great place to stay! Kristi was very responsive, and she helped us when we couldn't find the outdoor trash bins.

Great views from the moment of arrival just be very careful on local roads to cabin following the correct GPS route, recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle. The jacuzzi and upstairs porch are just magical with the sunset.

This was our weekend getaway and let me tell you it was amazing! This cabin is very secluded in a small town with many beautiful sights. We both felt at home. The cabin is pet accessible, but you couldn't even smell another animal in there && there is even linens for the pets! We only utilized one room, but it was very spacious & we enjoyed the board games! The road to get up to the cabin was a hill with gravel and was piece of cake with 4wd. Despite the negative reviews we felt a complete opposite for the cabin. Not only was the cabin amazing but Glenn's communication was very great. We are both very pleased & will be recommending to future travelers! ** AWESOME HOT TUB!!

We had a wonderful time at Asheli and Cam’s place. The location is absolutely stunning and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. Our favorite spot was the fire pit on the river. We did have an issue with the gas fireplace not working, but they tried their best to resolve the situation during our stay. The listing does need to be updated with regard to the grills. We had hoped to use the gas grill pictured in the listing, but only the charcoal grill was available for use. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cabin was very cozy and peaceful. The sound of the water while sitting on the front porch was so relaxing. Lots of walking trails. Only 3 miles from town so it’s secluded yet close to stores.

Great stay! I thought the cabin was even cuter than in the photos. Great screened in porch and very comfortable space! Would stay again!
