Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Odemira

I recommend this apartment to everyone that wants to have a genuine experience of the Alentejo countryside. It is easy to approach, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and the farm was simply beautiful and peaceful. Sabine and Dries are lovely hosts who made sure we had a great stay. I fell in love with Alentejo and I hope I can come back to their farm next time!

Our family of 5 stayed here for two weeks over Easter. Even though the weather was a bit wet and windy most of the days, we had the best time.

Pedro's house is really very cozy and beautiful. the garden is quiet and large. the children could play great here. the house is clean and well laid out. Pedro is friendly and easily accessible. We would always come back.

Everything as described and looking at the photos. Well equipped, very new and clean. For us, especially the large fenced property was great with 2 dogs. Really the only small smear: the house is just a stone throw away from a national road, which creates traffic noise that didn't really notice us in the house, but was a bit annoying when sitting outside. But the otherwise consistently positive aspects have put that into perspective:)

Totally beautiful cottage in the middle of wonderful green nature...very nicely furnished, all very natural. A very cozy terrace overlooking us greenery and great opportunities for excursions to beaches that are not crowded with tourist. A car is recommended. The host gave us good information on how to get there, so we could arrive well. We were also able to do a great yoga lesson on the neighboring farm:-) We had a really great time and enjoyed the holiday very much. Thank you!

Wonderful place in the middle of nowhere, but very close to the town and beaches.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing time at Jane’s Boho Dream House. It’s set in the middle of an incredible natural with almost no neighbours around right next to Odeceixe river and Rota Vincentina. The walk to Odeceixe’s beautiful beach takes only about 15min. But you have to be aware that you will have to — being on the other side — walk through the river which might not be possible at all times of the day. We especially enjoyed the peacefulness of Jane’s place, the garden with hammocks and the sunny veranda in the front of the house. The interior is decorated with lots of love and gives you a cozy at home feeling. Jane was a very friendly host, the communication was easy and helpful at all times.

It is a perfect accommodation for a short travel break with children. There is a playground in front of the house, and you can even have dinner in the park. Nuno is very dedicated thanks

The accommodation was exactly as described, clean, and well-equipped. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail, which made our experience even better. what can I say?! This is one of the best little places I have stayed. It is so quiet and peaceful with only nature sounds to sleep to. The bed is super comfy and the shower and bath super hot and powerful. The kitchen was great and perfectly equipped. I had everything I needed for a 2 week stay. Anything I needed the hosts helped me out with and it was such a pleasure. Its really close to Rogil and Aljezur, so perfect for beaches and surfing locally. You can walk into town but its easier to drive. Abbie looked after me when I got sick, and was an absolute dream. I felt right at home and taken care of. Even though some days were chilly, I was super cosy warm with an electric blanket, hot water bottle and electric heaters if needed on chilly evenings. I loved lying on the outside couch and doing yoga looking over the fields. There was a hammock too, which always makes it for me. Loved it so much I am going back next month :)

Location- outstanding. Everything was perfect: clean, modern, homely. We were allowed to arrive sooner and the gift- the bottle of wine was very sweet. Brilliant place! Recommended!

The apartment was very nice, corresponds to the description and the photos. Amenities of the apartment were also perfectly adequate. In the low season at the end of October, it was also no problem that the apartment is located on the ground floor and the bedroom windows go out to the street. The noise of the cars was manageable due to the low traffic and the pedestrians in front of the window as well.

Maria’s place was a fantastic find in a beautiful town - spacious, filled with light and very comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need to self-cater in a fully functioning and well stocked kitchen. Maria is a wonderful host, meeting us at the property to let us in and showing us around. Despite not being able to speak each other’s language, she was very friendly & easy to understand & communicate with. She was also extremely generous in leaving us with many thoughtful items that made our stay more comfortable and memorable. The apartment is in a quiet location within a short walk to the harbour in the old town with its beautiful vistas, bars, restaurants and shops. There is ample parking straight across the quiet street & opposite the front door to the property.

Our best apartment in 2 months travelling Spain and Portugal. Great location, fantastic views, very friendly and helpful host, great village. Highly recommend.

We really liked the location, with easy parking and in a quiet area. The stay went very well, the apartment was spacious and very pleasant, nothing to point out.

The stay was perfect. Susana could not have been a better host. The house is small but it offered all the comforts we were looking for. We would definitely repeat.
