We stayed for one week in the house and enjoyed ourselves. It is a nice old house - the first few days were a bit cold but it wasn’t really an issue as we have heating in the house. The snow view from the house was very beautiful. Obana was very responsive and had been helpful during our stay. Ibiza restaurant 200 m from the house serves good pizzas. The nearby towns Ukiha and Hita also have some nice cafes and restaurants. We hope to come back again!

It was a calm and quiet cabin, and the onsen felt good.

We enjoyed are stay greatly. The property was easy to find and had convenient free reserved parking across the street. We had a great stay and there was a recommendation for a Unagi restaurant across the street that was awesome. Communications with the host was clear and responsive. The on-site onsen was very relaxing and wonderful. Highly recommended and would definitely come back if in the area.

From the moment we arrived we nestled into a hidden, farmland cabin. Perfect retreat. Kaoru-San was the best host we could have asked for. She spoke some english, which helped with our little japanese. The cabin was humble and beautiful. We did the enzyme bath and the massage. A must try. It's said to have plenty of healing properties. We will never forget how she allowed our dog to enjoy the enzyme experience. We always looked forward to Kaoru's delicious home cooked meals. All breakfast, lunch, and dinner were made with care and the taste justified it. For our last night's dinner we had a french cousine made by a Chef. Plenty of food, and a culinary experience. Lastly, an unforgettable massage by Hannah — relaxing and spiritual, a beautiful voice. I booked this place on a whim and thought it was going to be much different than what it turned out to be. If I had to summerize my experience I would end it with the Idea of "Quietness and Shanti (Peace)". We will remember.

Lovely renovated farmhouse with such comfortable bedding and delicious locally sourced food cooked by our gracious host Fusako (everything was so good! and special shout out to the family homemade miso :). A great place to relax, pause and breathe- the surrounding farms and nature of Kunisaki are so beautiful and peaceful that people should visit and take their time here.

The room is very comfortable and the location is very convenient, the convenience store is very convenient, especially we bring toothbrush cleansing utensils to buy it back to the house is only 5 minutes and private hot spring privacy but the open air design we have some reserved because it was raining in the morning we couldn't use it.

The place was clean and cozy It was good for 2 adults and 3 children to use It was nice that you provided towels comfortably.

what an amazing place!! and not just the place. there is a cafe downstairs which is also just perfect. but the icing on the cake is the people running this place. they are some of the nicest people I've met in a while and I would gladly have a tea with them again!
