Vacation rentals with a firepit in New Orleans

I've been to a ton of Airbnb's and VRBO's, but nobody has ever been as communicative, responsive, helpful, and friendly as Jamal! He really went beyond the call of duty to make our stay great. Now that I know the New Orleans people a little, I can say he is indeed cut from their very fine cloth. The place was cozy, clean, and a great value in a charming neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you, Jamal!!

Gail was amazing in making us feel right at home. The house was in pristine condition with all listed amenities available. The location of the house was also in the middle of Frenchmen st., French quarter, and a short drive to bourbon street. I will book again!

The backyard alone makes this place worth the visit! The home is exactly as described, with a well-stocked kitchen and everything you need for a fantastic stay. It’s conveniently located near the city, making it easy to explore, but it’s also remote enough to provide privacy and tranquility. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay! The house was so cozy and the neighborhood was quiet. We were able to walk to a nearby restaurant (Toast) for brunch and all of the other New Orleans attractions are a short car ride away. Would definitely stay here again, we really enjoyed our time there!

The home was exactly as pictured. All the appliances were new and in great condition. The ceiling fans and ac kept us comfortable. Lots of towels, wash clothes and all the essentials and more for kitchen and bathroom! Rik stocks plenty of the little comforts like paper goods, dishwashing liquid and laundry supplies. There was even fresh ground coffee for our first pot!The electronics were really easy to figure out .The beds were both super comfortable and everything was immaculate. We knew the location would require using Uber,so it wasn’t an issue. Know that public transport is not ‘steps away’ if you are a little bit older. Another thing for older guests to note is the very deep tub. Rik is a responsive and helpful host. Communication was easy , clear and prompt. Although we didn’t find a ‘house book’ Rik took extra care to give me recommendations for music and food. We felt very safe and at home. This is a solid choice of home base. I’d love to stay again!

This was our second visit to Vickie’s place. Both her and co-host Lisa couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. This place is a gem right in the middle of all the excitement and beauty of New Orleans.

Book Jami's place for my entire family (6 total) to stay at. Not only was there enough room for everyone, but it was very comfortable and cosy. Not only could we get to NOLA quickly and easily. but we were able to enjoy just being together at the house. Plenty of room for the family to be together, but enough space for privacy when needed.

Thoroughly enjoyed George’s Airbnb everything we was needed there from full kitchen. Coffee, food, seasonings, and supplies. A quiet part of New Orleans. We’ve already booked our next visit at this location

Perfect little spot right off the main roads. Super close to everything, but far enough away that it still felt like a little retreat. Really lovely shotgun house with the cutest decorations. Gabrielle, the host, was very responsive and flexible with our checkin time. The neighbors were all so friendly, too!! Phenomenal value for the price of the stay. Thanks Gabrielle!!!!!

Favorite place we've stayed while in New Orleans. This shotgun house was the perfect homebase for our weekend getaway with friends. We absolutely loved the location off Magazine in the Garden District. Even though we had a coffee maker, we opted to walk right around the corner to the very first original PJ'S coffee house (pet friendly!). Whole Foods around the block was super convenient as well. Walgreens across the street. We woke up and picked fresh satsumas and grapefruit for our mimosas. Jimmy stopped by with fresh, homemade pasta that we cooked late night as we had been traveling all day. It really was fantastic! Jimmy also suggested Guy's Poboys for lunch and it was just a short walk and few blocks away. It was nice to sit out on the front balcony area and enjoy the breeze while watching people and doggies walk by. I really enjoyed waking up each morning and walking through the neighborhood streets, so pretty. Discovering Octavia Book store at the end of the block was a delight!

Great location in New Orleans, couldn’t of picked a better place for the location and the price. Worth every penny, had a great time with some friends!

Darleen is very hospitable. She anticipated my need by letting me know when streets would be shut down for parades and made the place accessible to me earlier for check-in to accommodate that circumstance, which I very much appreciated. She's also generous and has good taste -- left me a cupcake from La Boulangerie bakery. The shower is strong and luxurious. Also, her library added to the homey feel of the place. I would definitely rent this spot again, and Darleen is a great host:-)

Stacy's place is fantastic! We have stayed multiple times and look forward to staying again next time we're in Nola. Stacy is super responsive and the space is perfect for either a family or group of friends. Close to the streetcar and Freret Street restaurants yet far enough away to be a private space.

Place was easy to find and instructions were clear for easy check in. Bathroom was nice and spacious. Lighting in the walkway was helpful for at night to get to door. Natalia was an excellent host and I would recommend her to my friends if they are in the area.

Fatima's Son and Husband was extremely helpful and friendly when we first arrived. I was at the wrong cabin and Fatima responded immediately. And her family guided us. Fatima had the sweetest spirit ever. Very welcoming and The cabin is Perfect for 2 people but we made 3 work. Their website was extremely helpful with finding places to explore. The place was very peaceful only 22 mins from the French Quarters in New Orleans. They had the best rates during Mardi Gras. I loved the screened in Porch which made it perfect for a late night or early morning Meditation, read, or journal writing. I would definitely use this place again. Very Cozy.

My husand I enjoyed our stay. it was as described. I appreciated the privacy and it was close to where we wanted to be. Fatimah was responsive to questions and helped solve minor issues we had with some of the remote controls. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great stay away from crowed after going to Mardi Grass. The atmosphere was very pleasing. It's like 31 minutes from Bourbon street

We spent a month at Catie's cabin on the river and couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin is rustic and comfortable, not unlike something you would have been happy to find a generation ago, but absolutely modern with great wifi and cable TV. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, everything (and I mean everything) you might want. Very quiet on a dead-end road meaning there was no vehicle traffic. Just the occasional boat drifting by. Catie responded immediately if we had a question. This property is a real find and a bargain. We were delighted to find it.

Captain Pat was a pleasure he stayed with us all week. He cooked all meals for and they were amazing. Thanks so much and look forward to getting back

We had the best time staying here! We chose this cabin for our groomsmen to stay for our wedding and it did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful & clean. The kitchen was stocked with all dishes & utensils we could have needed. The guys loved the pool & all the games provided— shuffle board, darts, ping pong & more. We also loved how private it was being out in the middle of the woods. The place felt like home & we loved it. Thank you for allowing us to stay!!
