Lovely cottage of 90m ² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a lovely common area with a bathing jetty during the summer months. There is no water view from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, dish towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom some underfloor heating that is on when the power is cheap. The garden is completely secluded with room for games, sports, and games.

From the house, it is only 50 meters down to the beach with perfect swimming opportunities.

Lav mad i køkkenet, på grillen eller over bål. Vi har får, kælegrise, masser af høns, kaniner og frække katte og fra april kommer der små lam ude på marken. Great for a restful break for families with kids. The house is just a 2 minute walk from the water, surrounded by walking paths, and just a short car or bicycle ride from all the sites and activities the island has to offer. It has 3 patios, so you are sure to find a spot in the sun while the kids play in the garden.

It sits almost at the end of a gravel road, on a bluff, with direct access to the fjord from the house. Oroe is about 1,5 hour’s drive from Copenhagen, and 1 hour from Roskilde.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
