The Duck House is a quirky, characterful, cosy and extremely comfortable self-contained annex set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with easy access to Wallingford, Dorchester, Henley, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Bicester Village outlet centre is a short drive away. From the Duck House there is a short walk to the award winning 16th Century Thatched Pub, the Red Lion, in our village. There are many lovely walks around the village, surrounding countryside and path along the River Thames.

Our comfortable and spacious guest house sits in a tranquil setting, hidden away down a quiet private road in the centre of the Cotswold town of Charbury. Garden studio annexe with separate kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 (double bed and sofa bed). Essentials provided. Enjoy a break in Chipping Norton, gateway to the Cotswolds, 2 minutes from town with ample pubs, restaurants and independent shops. 5 minutes into lovely countryside walks. Small outside area is not enclosed. Bus services from Oxford and Banbury, a short drive to many local attractions. Check out by 10am and check in from 3pm. There are 3 steps down to the entrance.

Peaceful and bright cottage on the edge of Otmoor

Built in 2016 on the site of an old stable, Wyvering Cottage is charming and airy, with all amenities. There is a double bedroom and ensuite shower room, a large living room with comfortable seating, TV with Freeview and Netflix, dining table and chairs and a neat and well-fitted kitchen with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, induction hob. The cottage feels spacious and light with its vaulted ceiling and skylight windows. We welcome one well-behaved dog.
