Waterfront vacation rentals in Oxfordshire

I had a lovely time, enjoyed having the balcony and en-suite bathroom and the self-sufficiency of the room. I was drawn to the natural surroundings mentioned by the ad and was not disappointed, I said I wanted to go for a run Aure directed me to the river path and Port Meadow. I had the best run ever and a quiet, restful stay.

Great stay, everything was perfect. I would recommend to everyone :)

Lucy was a great host, friendly, flexible and helpful. The balcony space had a good view and gave lots of fresh air. Convenient location for Oxford city, HOHO buses, as well as the Oxford Tube bus to and from London (stop 2 blocks away). Nearby pubs, breakfast spots, and grocery store make this an ideal room for your Oxford stay.

Lucy and Mark were lovely, friendly, and helpful hosts. The location was amazing. No more than a 5-minute walk to Christ Church College. Perfect for a solo traveller.

I had a wonderful time at Karl's place. Clean, quite, private and yet close to everything. The terasse is lovely, you can listen to the birds singing and sometimes you can even see ducks chasing each other! Nice views on the water and the riverboats passing by.

Poppy is the perfect host. She made sure everything went great during my stay in Oxford. She is extremely friendly and cares about your well-being. The studio is cozy and lovely, very clean, and has all the facilities you may need. Really enjoyed the garden and the birds living nearby the river. Central location close to the city center and lots of services in the surrounding area. Couldn't have picked a better accomodation in Oxford and it definitely will be my choice if I come back.

Was a great place to stay to explore Oxford. The Flat was very clean and comfortable. And what a luxury to have a parking place right by your accommodation while being so close to the centre of the city. Lovely view over the river. Oxford has so much to do. The flat is such an easy walk from the centre. Or like us you can walk in either direction along the river and enjoy a scenic route into the city.

This apartment is in an excellent location in Oxford. Everything can be reached on foot. We were there for the May Morning celebrations and could access everything easily. The flat is well equipped despite being small. There was quite a lot of noise from traffic at night. We enjoyed our stay. Oxford in May sunshine is hard to beat!

We really enjoyed our stay. Some practical improvements had been made since our last stay, in particular the new teapot was very welcome!

We stayed at this Airbnb as a group of 7 and couldn’t have been happier. The house is incredibly spacious, with 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a living room offering stunning views of the river. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped (which we used to cook dinner as well). The property matches the pictures but I’d say is even nicer in real life—also great value for money when compared to other Airbnbs of a similar (and often smaller!) size. The location is fantastic, just steps from the train station and right by the river, and close to pubs and the village center. Communication with Stephen was seamless and very friendly; he was also exceptionally accommodating with the cancellation policy as one of our friends had to request and wait for a UK visa (thank you!).

I had a wonderful stay at Sophie’s place! The place was exactly as described and very clean. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely few days in Oxford, the house had a beautiful location with easy access to the city along the tow path. Liz was really helpful and responded quickly to our queries.

Our family booked Mark's house for an Easter break for us all. We absolutely loved the house and the space was perfect for all of us. Mark was very responsive giving us recommendations for The White Hart at Minster Lovell for a pub tea and delicious Bird In Hand at Witney for a delicious Sunday Lunch. We walked around Minster Lovell, booked Archery at Batsford Arboretum and visited Burford along with Cotswold Wildlife Park. We enjoyed cooking in for two nights, playing games and relaxing in the gorgeous house. My husband and I spent a few coffee's/glasses of wine discussing if the glass extension would work on the back on of our own house as we loved the room. Thanks again for being a great host and allowing us to enjoy your home.

Always my first choice of a stay in Abingdon. A friendly welcome and everything perfect as always.

Beautiful property! Adorable cottage very close to a nearby historic town with all amenities (groceries, cafes, restaurants). The cottage does give a secluded feel even though you are close to necessities. The cottage has everything you need (minus food) and even a few thoughtful surprises to welcome you, I won't spoil it. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in their home as it has been beautifully restored to keep the old world vibe, but with modern appointments. It's a great location if you want to be secluded, but also quickly drive to Oxford, Bath, and Bibery. We would absolutely stay here again!

Had a great stay at Waterside😊 It's a perfect location in central Oxford and conveniently comes with a car parking space! Lesley was a brilliant host - responsive and helpful. The apartment is sparsely but tastefully furnished and was squeaky clean. It turned chilly during my stay and whilst switching the heating on helped the place didn't really warm up enough. It's a minor niggle which putting a jumper on sorted. Anyway make a brew, open the window and sit in the sun listening to the babbling brook. Wonderful!

A lovely place with a view of the river, very good value and the location suited us very well because most of our activities were based near Christ Church, which is close by. For the price I thought everything was great and the view onto the river was very charming. Inside the room everything was clean, the kitchen well stocked with equipment, the bathroom functional and clean and the host was super responsive. I would definitely stay again.

We had a short stay of only two nights and didn’t really get around to using the many amenities provided, but never felt we lacked for anything that we did need. House and bed were comfortable, bathroom shower fixtures were easy to work. Good stay.

oh my goodness what a position actually on the River Thames. It was perfect for my 93 year old mother as no stairs to climb. Accurately described, a little rustic. Great communication replying in a few minutes. Feel very lucky to have stayed at Waters Edge.

Our host Evie was very friendly, flexible and helpful. The property was perfect for our central Oxford stay - literally a minute's walk to Westgate Shopping Centre and many bars and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed including easy car parking. Thanks for a fab stay! :-)

Great location just south of Oxford central. Walking distance to most places. Had all the amenities I needed. Would recommend.
