Pleasant couple, Jacques greeted me pleasantly to show me around the local area. They were kind enough to give me a ride into town on occasion, but be prepared to pay extra for guests. Overall I would like to recommend this peaceful place where from the courtyard you can see the horses from the neighboring farm

Amaury’s house is a gem, a heaven for young kids, lots of toys, books, creative space, and a big yard to play. We were a family of 6, 3 generation, very much enjoyed the stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed us to prepare and cook great meals. The beds were very comfortable, the space is big, with a lot of privacy, even when staying as a group, the house is warm and very soulful. Communication was pleasant, and Amaury was flexible with our checking in and out time. Fontainebleau Forest is half an hour ride, and a couple of artist villages are a few minutes ride away. Highly recommended.
