Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Palmers Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and the children loved seeing the kookaburras up so close. The house was very welcoming and comfortable and we would love to go back one day for a longer stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Clarence Farm for a night and it was such a wonderful experience! Such lovely, welcoming hosts and beautiful animals!! 10/10 would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at 2Turtles! Tara has gone to so much effort to create a really cute, comfy, and thoughtfully decorated beach cottage. Out teenage daughter instantly feel in love! It had everything we could have needed and more. We esspecially loved the hot outdoor shower after having been down at the beach all day, and having a comfy spot to relax outside with a coffee or glass of wine. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Check in and out process was organised and instructions communicated very clearly. This made a late arrival stress free. We appreciated that our hosts checked in before our stay to find out if we were going to be arriving after dark, and left a light on for us. The yurt style property was lovely, the property and grounds were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The location was beautiful, with a very pretty pet friendly beach within walking distance. Thank you for a positive first experience staying at an airbnb 😊

Jodie has a great house situated at the very end of a Water Ski Lodge. While the location is about 20mins out of town the views and privacy are well worth any inconvenience. We were a group of 9 adults and found the house perfect for our needs. Its a very well maintained property with manicured gardens and very tasteful appointments inside. Lots of parking room for multiple vehicles and boats. The pool table and Gazebo were used each night & is a great place to relax. Lots of friendly wildlife around including water dragons, green tree frogs and a variety of birds. Highly recommend.

Amazing place, stones throw from the beach and calm inlet for kids to swim. We will be back. Cant recommened the location, house and host enough.

Great hosts, we felt trusted and we felt very much at home, with generous supply of household essentials. Very cute yard with mini bungalow type structures creating a sense of privacy and a resort type feel. Very quiet town, shame the pub no longer operates but the pie shop makes excellent pies and sausage rolls. Friendly residents of the town if you happen to run into any! We used this as a base to get to other locations such as Ballina, Evans Head and Yamba, mainly in search of good fishing spots (the Richmond River wasn’t in great condition after the cyclone and associated flooding at the time of our visit). Thanks Kim and Mark for making our stay a lovely one.

We loved our stay here! Such a lovely, comfortable airy beach house!. We highly enjoyed being so close to the dog beach, the generous yard, outdoor furniture with bbq. The inside decor of the house is very well taken care of and well stocked. The renovated bathroom is very fresh. We would love to come back soon.

One of the best places I lived in near beaches. Big beautiful house with all amenities including Pool and Gym. Walking 2 min from the beach and has great view from balcony itself. Very clean, has everything you need to spend time with family.

We loved our stay at Alyson and Glen's place in Palmers Channel. The house and yard were spacious, beautiful and spotless, and perfectly suited our multigenerational family holiday. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ally and Glen's place to other travelers, especially large groups. We also highly recommend future visitors check out Blue Pool at Angourie. What a local gem!

We stayed at this Airbnb for three weeks during a stressful yet exciting time, preparing for Cyclone Alfred. The house was incredibly dog-friendly, with everything needed to make our dogs feel welcome, plus a big fenced yard for them to enjoy. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. A special highlight was the lovely elderly neighbor who kindly brought us fresh-caught fish. The well-stocked pantry was a great bonus. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return!

We had a short 2 night stay here, kids loved the pool and pool table. The location is convenient and we would happily stay there again.

Short but sweet stay at The Barn. The accomodation was fully equipped with everything you could need and some lovely extra touches with fresh milk and other essentials. Wish I was staying longer to experience more of the property and surrounding areas. Lauren and Andy were very responsive and helpful before arriving at the property.

A supremely stylish, pristine beachside home. Perfectly-located for ocean lovers and restaurant goers and a golf enthusiast’s dream. Matt and Sarah are the most thoughtful and accomodating hosts - going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Our best Airbnb experience to date. We will be back!

A gorgeous little 2 bedroom pet friendly villa! Not very often you get something so lovely that also allows you to take your fur baby! We frequently visit Evans and usually get a villa in the caravan park. This was way nicer! Everything was spotless, and new! The pool was an added bonus and it’s so close to town, and the beach! Everything was in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!! Warren answered questions within a few minutes. Always very helpful! Thanks for a great few days away at our favourite place :-)

We had a wonderful christmas holiday, very relaxing, the house was very well set up and the kitchen worked extremely well for catering and lots of people. A very beachy feel and it helped that pets were very welcome. The deck had cool breezes flowing most days and everything was easily accessible and within walkable distances.

Timina is a great host, very proactive and accommodating at the same time. Communication was great. My partner is on a wheelchair and though the house is not specifically wheelchair accessible, my partner loved it. Kids were super happy due to being so close to the beach. 🏖️ all in all gr8 location and a super host. Beautiful beaches around and the lookout is unmatched.

Louise’s place was great! The location was an easy walk to beautiful bush and beach nearby with a coffee van conveniently located at the opposite side of the golf course. The bed was comfy and the house had everything we needed. The garden was lovely too! Thank you!

What a wonderful stay we had at Gumnut, Fabe and Terry were absolutely lovely hosts and the Air BnB was beautiful and immaculate! Spacious, peaceful, nice big bed, lovely little outdoor area for our dog and the most gorgeous outdoor shower - the highlight, showering with the stars, we loved it!

I could not recommend Olivia’s place more highly. This home is so much more than the pictures could ever portray. A gorgeous family home with all of the creature comforts to make a stay with young kids seamless. The location is fantastic, the kitchen is new and very well appointed (sharp knives!), the beds were comfy (iykyk), and the place was spotless. A warm and inviting place for a holiday, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, extremely private, peaceful and relaxing. We will be back. As listed, no WIFI and reception on phone was non existent for me with Optus but good enough for my husband with Mate. It was good to switch off and just enjoy the environment. Got reception back in main part of Brooms Head. Beautiful beaches. Highlight was definitely the outdoor bath watching the sun set with a wine. Also the Kookaburras & Kangaroos that visited. It was quite wet for half the time we were there (8 nights all up) which obviously couldn't be helped so a washing machine/ dryer would have been nice especially with damp bath & our dog towels, as constantly hosing the dog due to mud etc. Lots of mozzies too but plenty of supplies to burn/spray & to be expected with so much water on the ground. Linen on beds felt luxurious & such warm doonas. Kitchen had everything we needed & fantastic BBQ & outdoor area. Decent size fridge too. Loved the fresh eggs, bath salts & coffee pods. Thanks so much!

Chad and his partner were amazing hosts. The place is a perfect getaway from all the noise of the city. Nala, my dog had a wonderful time running with their little doggo Ziv and learning to be around chickens. Don’t forget to see the galaxy of stars at night, listen to the sweet nothingness and have a beautiful home to stay at for your next holiday. Definitely recommend!
