Vacation rentals in Palmetto Island

This spot was perfect for us - family of adults with children - to visit with family in New Iberia that live about a block from this Airbnb. There were enough private spaces for each of us to have our own rooms, the beds were comfy enough, and the space was just as described. That said, Center St is loud - cars with loud stereo systems, the train runs several times a day, and there are some interesting characters around. It was fine for us, because our family lives down the road, but just a PSA for anyone that might not need to stay in downtown New Iberia. Lane was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The AC seems a bit weak, and that’s speaking for December in Louisiana. I’d be hesitant about how well it can cool off the place during the summer. It seemed like the temp on the thermostat wasn’t accurate to what it felt like in the place. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

very comfortable and extremely clean historic home! This entire house was beautifully furnished with antiques and incredible art, lots of great books as well. The beds were very comfortable with lots of extra blankets and linens. Janna was incredible helpful and responsible. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Crystal's house was spacious and beautiful. She was extremely responsive, sending someone out to try to fix a plumbing issue and to bring fresh towels. When a plumber couldn't come on the weekend, she offered to put us up in a hotel which we didn't need as one bathroom was still functional and most of the family was leaving

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

We enjoyed our stay and the house. Pool was very relaxing . Neighborhood was very peaceful, and there was plenty of space inside the home , very clean and Accommodating!

Mona was a great host!! She was so responsive and helpful when we couldn’t figure something out being it was our first Airbnb experience. Mona was always willing to help us out and when it was raining really hard and we had a hard time seeing the rod Mona helped us out by opening the garage door automatically so that we could find our way and also get out of the rain. I am so thankful Mona made our first experience so great!!! I would definitely recommend Mona’s place when you are in town definitely worth it!!!

We loved our stay at Frances’s place. The house was very clean, well stocked and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the curtains blocked out the light so we slept very well. We were visiting family and found the location was very convenient for groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Frances was an excellent host with great communication. We would definitely stay again!

love this place!! peaceful, huge fenced in yard, great and safe location, clean home and beds were comfy. literally right around the block from coffee shops, resturants, a large grocery store and located in a very central location. You are about 15 minutes or less to most everything in Lafayette.
