Monthly Rentals in Paralia Kantouni

This was by far the most luxurious and modern Airbnb we have experienced. Maria was gracious, friendly, and attentive. The unit was exceptionally clean and well kept. A few maintenance items were noted. The beds were firm but comfy. The private spa was a wonderful bonus. Our family members stayed nearby in hotels but were envious of our choice. Whoever designed it thought of everything. I will dream about our stay for years to come.

I have just returned from a week’s holiday at Tree Garden by the Beach in Kantouni, Kalymnos. If you are reading this review make a booking. You will have amazing hosts in a great location. Ferries run regularly from Kos to Kalymnos. Kos Airport to Kos port takes 15 minutes in a taxi. It’s easy to book the ferry tickets online or buy when you arrive. I used the local buses and taxis (both cheap) to get around. There is a bus stop just around the corner from the Tree Garden opposite a small grocery store (fresh bread, yoghurt, juice etc). Also a diving shop (Diver’s island Kalymnos). I will hire a car next time I go for a day or two but it’s not essential. I had dinner in the evening at Psiri’s family tavern more than once at the beach just down the road from the Tree Garden (amazing sunset). I would also recommend Stelios & Maria in Massouri. For a bit of bonus island hopping Telendos Island is an easy boat trip from Myrties. You won’t find a better place to stay.

Oskar, in line with what everyone else has said, is an attentive and generous host, always ready to help. Even picking us up from the port on Kalymnos at 2330 (and dropping us off for our crossing back to Kos). He takes real pleasure in hosting and I strongly recommend both him and his place! Wonderful.

Aris studio was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, clean and safe. With lots of amenities nearby eg. Supermarket around the corner, our favourite beach Platis Galios 15 min walk away. The shower is amazing, the air conditioning is great and the bed is very big and comfortable. Aris parents were also very kind and sweet. His studio offers incredible value and we’ll be back!
