Due to occurrences outside Varghese’s control, the room we had booked with him became unavailable prior to our stay. However, Varghese was extremely helpful in lining up an alternate location for us to stay, sending pictures to make sure we were happy with the change, and covering all our room expenses there. Sajith's place has always been our Go To spot while going to Palakkad. We have been going there as a family for almost 8 years now and feel right at home. Ammachi and Ani always treat us like family. It's a lovely place and Ammachis cooking is to die for. As I've always maintained, Ammachi's a superwoman, and yet her greatest strength is her warmth and her abundance of love for all things living, human or otherwise. If you're ever visiting Palakkad, here is where you ought to stay!

We had a pleasant stay here. Sreerag and his family were great hosts. Their hospitality was remarkable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the feeling of a home away from home!

This was a one of a kind experience ! Beautiful & tranquil surroundings …. Could relax with birds chirping and the sound of the river flowing ! We even took multiple dips in the river which was truly refreshing ! The caretaker made you feel right at home with wonderful homemade fresh food as per your liking ! The swimming pool overlooking the river and the forest was amazing ! This place was So unique and so much better than the big box hotels ! Will definitely come back and highly recommend for someone looking to truly relax and comeback refreshed !

We had a very comfortable stay, and the location was perfect—just a short distance from the airport. The space was ideal for our group, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this place for a night during our trip. The stay was very clean, comfortable and truly a traditional Kerala home experience. Anjith is very responsive and his parents are quite helpful during checkin and also shared good recommendations about the local stuff to do and even arranged for transport to get there. The location is not in the centre of town but is in a very peaceful, residential part of town with lots of greenery. Rooms are located on 1st floor with a private entrance (bit of steep stairs though esp with luggage) and with basic facilities in kitchen for making tea / coffee and Maggi etc. Otherwise, its exactly as described in the listing.
