Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pigneto, Rome

From the start Daniela was very friendly, helpful and an amazing host. Her apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. A great location for Marco Simone Golf Club and only a short uber ride away from central Rome. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Bruno’s and Britta’s place. The apartment is spacious with a great terrace and an amazing once in a lifetime view of St. Peter’s basilica. The walk to the Vatican is only 13 minutes, however the area felt quiet, very safe, and less touristy than other parts of Rome we visited. There’s a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and other shops nearby. Very good transit links are reachable within short walking distance. Britta and Bruno communicated proactively and thoroughly.

Alessandra's Place was quiet, clean and in a great location. would recommend it and would stay there again. the host was easy to reach when we had questions and had great suggestions to what was around the neighborhood.

Vote 9.5/10. I arrived according to my convenience and although Alice did not immediately answer the phone (she called me back after 5 minutes), I knocked on the intercom and her sister came to open it for me. This is the only “flaw” of the stay. The house matches the description, there is a supermarket less than 10 minutes by car, it is quiet and has everything you need to cook. Upon arrival I found a bottle of fresh water in the fridge (I really needed it).

Our stay at Lucia's house was completely successful. The house is spacious, very well maintained and provided more than enough space for our group of 11. The connection by train to the center of Rome was uncomplicated – in about 50 minutes we were in the middle of the city. A car is still handy to explore the surrounding area flexibly. There are several supermarkets and great restaurants nearby. We felt very comfortable and would love to stay here again on a next visit to Rome. Lucia was always available and gave us many great tips and recommendations. Thank you, Lucia!

hi Guys, we came from the USA for the festival of my City. I brought friends and family with me. I lived about 15 minutes from the house in the past so for me it was like going home. I was looking for something unique, a place that told itself , a quiet place, a place with greenery and an area to share like a football game, etc. The spaces are used very well, all comfortable. Only 35min from FCO int, and about 25min to the same. There is a train about 10 minutes away that takes you to piazzale flaminio , so you don't stress for parking, etc. There is an excellent local fraschetta 6 minutes by car, others chosen about 10 minutes away, and a large supermarket 9 minutes away. Pay attention to the road to get there at night, 2/3min there are some rises due to the roots of the trees. Silvio is very nice, so nice but very reserved (the right, not intrusive) I recommend this magical place, to family friends and couples, who want to relax and have fun (with respect) see you soon

Cosy apartment with real fire

We really enjoyed our stay at David's home. It was centrally located to our planned activities and pretty private. A few things came up but the hosts were very responsive. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

It was a pleasure staying at this lovely apartment in the Prati neighborhood of Rome for five nights. The location is fantastic – a truly nice and quiet area, yet with the convenience of excellent restaurants and grocery stores just a short stroll away. We especially enjoyed Fratelli Rossetti, a wonderful recommendation from Antonella! Getting around Rome from here was a breeze. We found it easy to reach all the major sights by bus or Metro, not to mention the Vatican City which was within comfortable walking distance. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable and it had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook a nice meal or simply relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. Our host, Antonella, is exceptional. She proactively provided us with a wealth of helpful tips, which truly enhanced our stay in Rome. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

This place was so stunning and the most safe I’ve ever felt in an Airbnb, with armed guards right outside and multiple locked doors to get inside. We had 5 ladies and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Very walkable to all the sites and great restaurants and shopping. We were there when the new Pope was selected and could see everyone running down the street toward the Vatican when the church bells started ringing. Alessandra was very helpful and communicative and helped us arrange a van to the airport.

The stay at the apartment was lovely, the location was perfect not far from anything; the St Peter basilica, shops and restaurants were all very walkable. Giuseppe's met us to welcome us and he was a lovely and helpful man.

Fabia’s house was great! Not too far from the city center and very spacious

I stayed in the apartment for over 6 weeks. It was nice to be able to go back to a regular cozy neighborhood such as Pigneto after a day among many other tourists. Because the public transport was busy and chaotic, I often cycled. Alessia and her husband were very nice and helpful. Recommended!

Very nice place, I would absolutely stay there again. Plenty of amenities, much quieter than central Rome. Good coffee shop and restaurant across the road.

We loved Camilla's place! It was easy to navigate and near several different types of public transportation. We were easily able to get around the city and make it back to the quieter neighborhood. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and made a nice place to close out the night.

Absolutely fantastic place. 5 minutes walk to the Vatican, close to bus stops, walking distance to Trastevere and even to the centre in half an hour or so. Spotlessly clean place, huge bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen. Perfect welcoming from Cristina with full instructions. Supermarket right behind the building and many restaurants just around the corner. There can be noise heard from the neighbours but never during quiet hours, so that was not a problem. Definitely recommended.

It was my first stay in Italy and I was very worried because it was my first Airbnb, but the host was so kind. The location is also close to Termini Station and Repubblica Station, so the location is good enough to walk to Trevi Fountain and Plaza de España. Room 1, living room 1, double bed, folding bed Four people stayed without any inconvenience The bathroom was clean, there were enough towels for 3 nights and 4 days, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking such as pots, bowls, toaster, etc., so I was able to solve it well in the morning.

Lovely little apartment in a great neighbourhood, perfect if you want to get away from the more touristy areas of Rome. Kitchen was well stocked too if you want to try some cooking

Full, very nice and with excellent location. Near the metro, plus easy access to the best sights of ancient Rome. The host is very polite, attentive and hospitable. Great option. Would recommend.

My sister, brother in law, and I arrived in Rome before a 9 day cruise from Civitevecchia to SouthHampton. Gio was an amazing host who met us onsite as we arrived in Rome. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He let us check in early and because he knew we had never visited the city before gave us a map and information on the busses. The condo was very clean and we felt safe and relaxed here. The condo was the perfect distance from the Vatican and the Colosseum. We had such a lovely stay and cannot wait to come back again. The apartment is located in an excellent area, very close to all the tourist places, which can be reached on foot quietly. That is what we like most. Supermarket close and in front of a bus stop. The bathroom is clean and comfortable. It has two windows, which makes it bright. There was no internet connection on the first day, but Celeste responded quickly and the next day it was fixed.

Mara was an incredibly gracious host who accommodated our late check out and made it feel like home. She was very responsive and went as far to make a reservation for us on our first night there. The place was clean and she gave a full tour. The place had two balconies perfect to sit and enjoy the neighborhood. The place is walking distance to the Tram 8 which takes you to Trastevere, a foodies dream location, and the metro down a few streets. There are little markets all around for fruit and snacks if you need. A great place to stay that is away from the tourism hustle and bustle but close enough you don't waste time commuting to any and all the sights. Would 100% stay here again.

Super location - lots of fabulous restaurants within a 10 minute walk. 1 block from Santa Maria Maggiore. Close to train station. Very nice 1-bedroom apartment. Host met us - let us in and explained apartment and surroundings. Very easy to communicate with.
