we loved the area and exploring the mountains around and hiking trails with our dog - peaceful and relaxing we will be back with our son and his girlfriend in the new year soon for some mt hiking take care Aleta Dustin and Bullet

We had a wonderful stay at Cris and Lynda's lovely cabin. The setting was really amazing, the photos on the website show the gorgeous view from the deck, where we spent a lot of time. The house and kitchen are very well equipped and we lacked for nothing. I look forward to returning to this cabin - which is really much more than a cabin. Definitely an A+!

The cabin was everything it was described as being. Very quiet. Excellent location. The Nakoma Resort offers amenities such as two restaurants and a recreation center that includes a pool. There is a plethora of things to do in the surrounding area including close access to the lakes region (alpine lakes and hiking galore), Graeagle and Portola.

We have stayed 3 years in a row. we will come back again next year. very peaceful, and quiet...our dogs also love this place. love the sound of the river and the trains. Ember and Chris had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

We had an amazing stay! The home was modern, spotless, and perfectly designed for a comfortable getaway. The surrounding forest was absolutely beautiful and gave the whole place a peaceful, secluded feel. We also loved the fun amenities like the net and basketball court— really fun for kids. Would definitely stay here again!

Errol’s place is surrounded by beautiful woods and is nice and quiet. We enjoyed being able to have a peaceful place to come back to after a long day on the mountain.

Randall and Kait are awesome and their cabin is amazing! It was the perfect fit for our family. It is cozy, comfortable, warm (and a ton of hot water for each person to shower), and a great nights’ sleep for everyone. Really comfortable beds and a nice family room to relax, watch some TV, and better yet enjoy the peaceful beautiful views with a cup of coffee. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need and more, including small thoughtful touches to make you feel right at home. The area is incredible, beautiful, and full of friendly people. Randall and Kait were very helpful and responsive. Super nice to message with. Thank you both again! Our family is grateful for you both and your cabin!

John and Elizabeth are very kind and I enjoyed chatting with them. Their property is beautiful and in a lovely part of Quincy. Town is just a short drive and quite scenic. The cabin was super clean and cozy with an amazing view of their property. It was very quiet and serene and we had fun exploring the property. We saw birds and ducks and geese. Ours was a short visit but we'll definitely be back! I highly recommend a stay at The Cat Tail Cottage.
