My place is on Robertson Lake, near parks, art and culture, many beaches, great views, bird sanctuaries. You’ll love my place as it's close to Keji Seaside National Park, T.H. Raddall Park, Bird Sanctuaries, Carter's, Summerville, White Point beaches, towns of Liverpool and Shelburne. There are wood floors and stone fireplaces-cozy. Boats, swimming, privacy-very relaxing. Your host is a licensed guide, introducing guests to special places. My place is good for quiet couples or solo adventurers.
“If I could have given this place ten starts for location, it would not be enough! Seeing the sun and the mist rise over the lake in the mornings was the best ever food for the soul!! Danielle was the perfect host and made sure we had every comfort including plenty of firewood for the first cooler evening We walked in the National Park the next day and saw seals and deer but even without that, it was the perfect antidote to a bust week previously If you're ever anywhere near Port Joli, so yourself the utmost favour and visit Danielle's piece of paradise....thank so much Danielle! I hope we cross paths again some day!”
Just off the Light House Route is our private getaway overlooking Willis Lake on the edge of Kejimkujik National Park. Three of Nova Scotia's best white sand beaches with free entry and parking are within a five to fifteen minute drive ! Carter's Beach, Summerville Beach and Keji Sea Side Beach. Fine and casual dining, golf and the full service historic town of Liverpool all within twenty minutes.
“We stayed in August 2019 and it was more than we expected. We had Five people stay and there was enough room for everyone. They was a huge flat screen TV and a large selection of movies to watch. The was also a half bath on the upper level where the two bedrooms are. Carter’s Beach was only minutes away. I would highly recommend this cabin.”
Port Mouton International Hostel is run by a not-for-profit board and members. Out building was an old school therefore we are keeping it active in the community. We are located in the beautiful Port Mouton on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. There are many awe inspiring white sand beaches (Carters Beach) and restaurants (seasonal) within a 2 to 5 minute drive. We are 20 minutes from the closest town, Liverpool. If hiking is your interest, Kejimkujik Season is close by.
“A wonderful repurposing of a building near and dear to this community. A yard sale, book room, craft room and art gallery all housed under the same roof. The hostel is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The people who run this organization do so with alot of heart and pride. What a great find and wonderful community. Highly recommend.”
