Vacation rentals with a balcony in Portugal

Paul’s apartment is so comfortable and spacious. We were two couples traveling together and we really enjoyed the full living room area to relax and visit in. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and every appliance we needed. Joana checked us in and she was so friendly. She left us fruit and bread and wine and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The apartment has some smells in the loft bedroom and the staircase if you don’t use the elevator. It’s probably due to the old building with ventilation issues. Overall, this was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in.

Our small group had an amazing stay! The service was excellent, and the host went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The accommodation was exactly as described, clean, and well-equipped. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail, which made our experience even better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. My biggest worry, based on previous comments, was not having enough hot water, but it was plentiful-even with several people taking showers back to back. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of extra pillows and blankets. One bathroom was small, but was great to have if the large bathroom was in use. We loved the balcony, the panini maker, espresso machine and the fact there were umbrellas. The large TV in the living room was great to watch when winding down at the end of the day. The location to the metro, grocery stores, bakeries, and sports bars were very convenient. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the unit and we especially appreciated being able to drop off our bags while they cleaned. The only suggestion would be to get a few fans for the rooms ( there was 1, but 3 more would be great) for warm nights when you don’t really need the AC but are too hot without fans.

We had a great stay at Sao Bento- the apartment is a good size and well proportioned, and has a funky modern feel to it. The lift takes you directly to the door of the apartment and gives you a real sense of privacy. There are good restaurants and and supermarkets in walkable distance and a Telpark multi-storey car park 2 minutes walk away. Central Lisbon is a 20 min walk away; just factor the hills in to your journey times…😊

I think it’s a great apartment. I agree with other reviews that it’s quite a climb to get to the apartment as there is no lift. However you get great views once you are there. I think the description now needs to have “ recently renovated “ removed as it is now starting to look “well used ” and not “fresh” as expected, especially the jacuzzi and some of the shower sealants etc. Very peaceful residential location, requiring Uber to take us to whatever restaurant / tourist location we were looking to go to, during the day / evening. All 5-10 euros away, so not a problem. Great host, with excellent communication and super simple check in / out. I would stay again. As a note, I would agree with last 6 months reviews and I have therefore not sought to duplicate their comments.

the house matches everything with what was posted, I would even say it's even better to watch it live. There was no lack of detail, everything arranged and decorated with pleasure. the area is beautiful and being next to the beach is priceless. Without a doubt, we would love to repeat.

The view and the place was very nice. Because we arrived that day when the big power outage was in Spain and Portugal, the host left us candles everywhere so we had light. We thought that was very thoughtful! We were very satisfied and would book the place again immediately. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Nice house, good location. Communication with GuestReady is easy, you get a quick response. The kitchen was not quite clean when we arrived. The simplest things that are self-evident for me were also missing, such as salt, coffee, oil, etc. The bathrooms are already in need of renovation. If you overlook it, otherwise a very nice house is in a good location. Very quiet location.

Be prepared to walk a lot of hills if you haven’t got a car but very easy to get to if you enjoy walking! The house itself is amazing. Beautiful views when at home or walking, easy transport access and a great space. Everyone loved being in the house and it was a very comfy stay. Would recommend and looking forward to being back.

As a family of 5 traveling with little kids we felt right at home! Although the restaurants and market are 5 mins or 1-2 miles from the house it’s not a walkable area. When exiting the house be careful because of the traffic on the highway. Very clean home and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed the back yard and basketball goal and video games in the living room. We enjoyed the country scenery. Was able to get an Uber and have the same driver each trip to the market and restaurants. Uber trip from the house to local markets and restaurants is €3. Would stay here again! Family friendly! Lots of space! Adequate heating in the home!

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

We very much liked the spaces and all the conditions, except the excess light in some rooms. Still this detail did not spoil the experience, which was fantastic. Communication with the hostess was swift and friendly, resolving the doubts I presented. The price paid was clearly a positive factor, given all the available conditions. Aconselho.

Fantastic experience, and a great place to stay in Lisbon! You will be outside of the heavy tourist traffic in a neighborhood with tons of character. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well furnished. Great views from the balconies, and the patio is great for sunset views of Lisbon. Our host arranged an airport pickup for us and check-in was smooth, with lots of helpful recommendations. There are great places to eat nearby, and several convenient mini marts to pick up the essentials for your stay. Overall, we could not have asked for more!

paid parking was confusing. located among great restaurants. catmandu was amazing. lots of people walking around. an eclectic neighborhood but felt very safe. views were amazing. quiet bldg amongst the hustle and bustle of Lisbon.

PROS: Excellent apartment, spacious, very well described and faithful to photographs. Very good area close to restaurants, parks, museums and public transport. It has a small supermarket and an underground parking lot at the door. It has air conditioning and heating (we were in Easter and there was no need to turn it on, the apartment has very good temperature). It has a large capacity electric water thermos installed and enough to use both showers at the same time. Also includes Nespresso CONS: TV antique and a little small. You have to climb some stairs to take the elevator. We were very comfortable, the owner was very kind, she left us a basket with wine, coffee, biscuits and other snacks. There was a pill for a washing machine and a dishwasher. The washer/dryer worked perfectly. He also recommended local businesses and oriented us to get downtown. We would definitely return. Great experience.

Beautiful flat! Amazing sea view. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything is exactly as described and on the pictures. Spacious, beautifully decorated, warm and cozy vibes. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 plus a baby. They offer so many things for kids which was perfect for our son. The supermarket is close, within a 5min walk you are at the beach, nice restaurants around, private parking is a plus. Communication was easy, kitchen well equipped. There is really nothing that we did not like about the flat. If you are sensible for noise, you should not that you can hear everything from the street. At this time of the year, we did not mind hearing a car passing by or people talking. But i guess if maybe in summer it’s really touristic, it could be different. That’s really the only thing I would mention. For us, it was no problem and we are looking forward to come back one day. Thanks for this beautiful time there 🤗

We stayed at Chiara's condo in March 2025. The keyless entry was very nice as we did not have to worry about keys, however, keys were also made available to us. The condo was as described and we loved the cool vibe that her decor provided! The condo is in an excellent location within walking distance of restaurants, little supermarkets and attractions. Chiara provided us with a list of "must see" attractions and her favourite restaurants. She arranged an airport transfer for us which we appreciated very much! If we should travel to Lisbon again, I would not hesitate to stay here and will also recommend her condo to friends who may be travelling to the city!

This apartment is a winner, and is exactly as described in the listing. Edite was a wonderful host that was avaliable by text to help on request for the duration of our stay. The location is great - very near the river, but far enough away that it doesn't feel crowded. Its an extremely walkable location, although there are both public transport options and cheap Uber close by. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay. Amazing location surrounded by cafes, restaurants and sight seeing. The unit is super well equipped with everything you need. It gets lots of natural light and it’s well furnished. I particularly enjoyed being able to leave open the double doors that lead to the balcony.
