Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Portugal

Candida was lovely and at check in, gave up local knowledge and tour of house, which was clean and very functional. They had a hair dryer, nice when traveling to not need your own or worry with voltage and a small space heater which was nice for our unusually cold days. There's two bedrooms, one with a comfortable bed (not too firm or too soft) and one that was a bit thinner and softer, so you have options! There was an induction stove top and microwave with a convection feature, good for warming things though probably not good for baking. The only con was unfortunately the towels and sheets are washed in a strongly scented detergent-common for Portugal but still bothersome. The location has great parking very close and free and is in a lovely neighborhood.

Estuvimos súper bien en esta casita tan acogedora. Se nos hizo corta la estancia y dejamos este pequeño paraíso con ganas de estar más días. En caso de volver a visitar esta zona repetiremos sin pensarlo dos veces. Gracias Anna

Marco was great! He was patient when our train was late and showed us around. The location by the beach was fabulous with lots of great restaurants close by! We appreciated the easy bus to Porto! Marco was also so kind when we forgot an item in the house. We are so grateful for his help!

Gostamos muito da estadia, a casa está localizada numa zona muito tranquila e perto de zonas para percursos a pé e de restaurantes a poucos minutos de carro. Fomos com a nossa mascote de 4 patas e foi optimo, a casa tem imenso espaço exterior para ela correr e brincar e muito perto, localizam-se trilhos da Ecopista do Vouga. O António foi muito prestável e atento. A sua mãe, a Dona Gina, simplesmente fantástica. Muito preocupada para que não nos faltasse nada no conforto da casa e ainda teve a amabilidade de nos presentear com uns docinhos regionais muito bons. Certamente que voltaremos à Casa do Professor!

Um lugar que vai deixar saudades, uma casa em que todos os pormenores foram pensados ao detalhe, com carinho e amor. Esta casa tem todas as comodidades que um hóspede pode desejar mas o seu sucesso vai muito para além disso. O João e todos os envolvidos estão de parabéns por aquilo que construiram!

La estancia ha sido excelente: La casa, la piscina impecables, el entorno, las viñas, y la amabilidad y excelencia de los anfitriones. Los días de vacaciones que hemos pasado aquí han sido ideales. Los mejores en la ruta. Estábamos al lado de Amarante que nos ha sorprendido gratamente y de otras ciudades para visitar, a 1h en coche. Gracias Osvaldo y Magdalena y familia por ser tan buenos anfitriones!

A Casa do Cerco encontra-se num local privilegiado no microclima e paz da Caloura. A casa é exactamente o que precisamos para nos sentirmos em casa, confortável, elegante, cuidada, limpa, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia curta. Espero voltar em breve.

Sehr großes Haus mit privatem Pool und wirklich riesiger Dachterrasse. Wir waren nur zu zweit hier, es gibt Betten für 6 Personen und 2 Badezimmer. Für das Auto gibt es eine Garage, auch genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Zum Surfen: nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Baleal und Supertubos ist noch näher. Danke an Celia für die schöne Zeit!

Met 5 volwassenen en 1 kind (9jaar) hebben wij van 27 oktober tot en met 2 november 2024 met heel veel plezier verbleven in de prachtige villa. Alles was prima in orde. Mooie en schone bad- en slaapkamers. Heerlijk terras met buitenkeuken en zwembad. Supermarkt op 8 minuten rijden met de auto en de gezellige haven van Lagos ook prima met de auto te bereiken op circa 10 minuten rijden. Alle voorzieningen in en rondom de villa waren prima. Zelfs strandhanddoeken lagen voor ons klaar. Werkelijk niets op of aan te merken op dit prachtige vakantieverblijf. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Andrea and James are by car the best hosts I’ve had ever encountered. We had the “blessing” of arriving to Lisbon on the black out day and even without any electricity, our stay was magical. The jacuzzi was still warm so me and my partner spent the night stargazing and enjoying the bubbly wine that kindly Andrea left it for us. This property is a true oasis and a romantic escape, it has anything you’ll need for a long holiday . Their 2 little furry friends were the highlight if you enjoy the company of dogs as much as we do, we felt so welcomed and loved by them! We truly wish that we had spent our two nights in Lisbon at Andrea’s place. Highly recommend it 🫶

Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

We have stayed in Vladimir’s apartment two years in a row. In our view, the apartment is excellent and Vladimir js a fantastic host.

Perfect little picturesque village, one of the best in Madeira! Very easy to travel around the island if you have a car The villa is really modern, with everything you need The host is really friendly and helpful We loved the welcoming gift and the fact that you could get drinking water in the villa, so no need to buy plastic bottles The bed is comfy too, with awesome huge comforter! The terrace is amazing for breakfast outside! The only tiny drawback is probably the pool It is heated, but still only comfortable to swim in sunny weather, late evening it’s too cold + the distance from our unit to the pool was quite long (up the stairs + all the way round the house)

Gary’s home makes for a wonderful stay. The property is well maintained and provides everything required for a stay. The views from the rear of the property are incredible, so much so that we opted to stay in the property rather than venturing out on occasion. Photos do not do it justice! Gary has been a fantastic host, providing excellent recommendations and always being willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. I would recommend Gary and his property to friends and family and will look to return in the future.

Ficar na Casa Adelaide foi simplesmente incrível! Das melhores experiências que já tive num Airbnb. A casa é espetacular – super elegante, lindíssima, espaçosa, e cheia de charme. Tem imensas casas de banho (o que é um luxo quando se viaja em grupo!) e cada canto está decorado com muito bom gosto. É mesmo daquelas casas onde apetece ficar mais uns dias só para aproveitar o ambiente. E o anfitrião, o Sr. Pedro… que simpatia! Sempre disponível, super acessível e verdadeiramente incansável. Nota-se que se preocupa mesmo com o bem-estar de quem recebe – um verdadeiro 5 estrelas! Recomendo vivamente a Casa Adelaide, especialmente para grupos maiores. Tem espaço mais do que suficiente, um quintal maravilhoso e uma zona exterior perfeita para relaxar. Foi uma estadia memorável e, sem dúvida, quero voltar!

Si quieres desconectar y tener intimidad, este es el sitio! un lugar con bonitas vistas, tranquilidad y espacio, sobre todo si vas con perro! A la nuestra le encantó el jardín y pudo disfrutar estando suelta y sin peligro de escapar ya que está todo limitado. La casa tiene todo para que sea cómodo y no falta de nada! En el espacio hay dos casas: en la que te quedas tú que es la primera que ves nada mas entrar, y otra más grande enfrente, más cerca de la zona jardín -piscina, que está cerrada. Pero no compartes espacio con nadie más durante la estancia. Dentro del recinto hay bastante espacio para aparcar. Nosotros hicimos llegada y salida independiente, por las circunstancias, aunque normalmente hay alguien que te recibe. Pero la comunicación con Antonio fue buena en todo momento. Gracias!

Paulo was helpful & communicative. He made the process of getting into the apartment very easy, and the space was great for me as a solo traveler. Great location. Despite being on the ground floor it is a quiet street, there is occasional street noise but it is barely an issue - few cars or pedestrians pass on this street.

Localisation dans une vallée. A proximité (30min-1h) d'activitées et visites. Nous avons reçu les informations à l'avance afin de trouver la maison. Nous avons réussi grâce aux coordonnées GPS. Nous avons été accueillis par nos hôtes. Cela fait plaisir d'avoir pu échanger avec eux et avoir des recommandations de visites et restaurants. Ils sont restés à notre écoute selon nos besoins. Les enfants ont adoré jouer avec leur chienne Ruby avant nos visites. Belle maison mitoyenne aux hôtes. Les photos correspondent. C'est une demeure typique Portugaise. Elle était bien équipé pour nous. Le canapé et les matelas ont peut être un peu vécu selon notre confort. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bons moments au bord de la piscine, de calme dans les hamacs et des apéros ensoleillés sur la terrasse avec des parties de ping ping. Nous recommandons.

Carmen was an incredible host, 5 stars is not enough! Carmen was helpful right from the start offering local recommendations and even helping us with our transfers. Couldn't be more grateful for how easy Carmen made the experience. The villa itself is beautiful with it's traditional setting and amazing amenities. Anybody looking to book should not hesitate. We had the best stay and hopefully will be coming back soon!

We had a lovely time in Guys accommodation. It was peaceful with a beautiful garden. Guy and Soraia were very proactive and responsive. There was a really helpful guide booklet provided in our suite also. Our children loved the suite and their mezzanine beds. They loved the teddies left on the bed too. A very personal touch. We'd love to go back!

Die Wohnung von Michelle ist sehr schön und liebevoll bis in die kleinen Details eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Wenn wir Tipps oder Hilfe benötigten, war Michelle sofort zur Stelle. Lediglich war die Wohnung aufgrund des schlechten Wetters sehr kalt, was man eventuell wissen muss, wenn man mit kleinen Kindern unterwegs ist, die auf dem Boden spielen. Wir können die Unterkunft allen weiterempfehlen!

Wonderful place in the middle of nowhere, but very close to the town and beaches.
