The place is absolutely gorgeous, simple but it feels homey. It’s greatly equipped. Perfect to relax and enjoy the sun and pool, it has a great outdoor area. Going to repeat for sure! :)

Beautiful place and surroundings, cozy home with many rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment aswell. The only thing to note, even though it was rented in winter time, was the state of the pool. We recommend at least covering the swimming pool.

Wonderful secluded place. Special to sit in an old village (well worth 1 street). It feels like getting away from time. The cottage is pleasant and well cooled and nice beds. The shared pool just down the road is beautiful. With a fantastic view of the rolling green hills. Definitely a nice place to relax for a while.

Ana’s place is beautiful and convenient, felt right at home. The surrounding is peaceful and beautiful, really enjoy to hear the river. Ana was great, friendly helpful and communicative. We had a great weekend. Highly recommended!!!

We enjoyed a nice week in Hernani's house, through Joao with whom communication was easy and enjoyable. The area is worth a visit: Coimbra, the Sierra de Lousa, Tomar or Bathala are worth the detour and deserve a little drive. The quietness of the house, the beautiful terrace and the pool allowed us to recharge our batteries after our explorations.

The house of Lourdes was a fantastic place to spend time with family. House is spacious and comfortable and the location and surroundings very beautiful and inviting. It is more than the you see on the photos, to really be there you feel like life has been generous! it is one of the best airbnbs i have been :)

We have happily returned from our stay in this splendid home that is even more beautiful than what appears in the photos. It is actually a house with a lot of character, you can see that you live in it and that makes it so cozy; that you feel like you are at home. It is also perfectly decorated, maintaining its antique appearance but having all the needs we require now. So, nothing is missing in the house. We have also been able to enjoy it in winter thanks to its two stoves that have worked non-stop and have undoubtedly allowed to warm up an old house with high ceilings, stone and wood. If someone is friolero don't expect to run into a heated house like in the cities but the stove in the kitchen - like our grandmothers' - is really magical. Also Sam has responded whenever we needed him. The house is in the middle of a village where there is nothing else but next door there are great places. We would definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

Excellent location for those who want to escape the crowds and rest without looking at the clock! Very comfortable and well-equipped house. Super available host. Wonderful roads for cycling and many rivers, streams and reservoirs where you can take a dip.

We felt absolutely comfortable in the cottage. So good we even extended spontaneously. Our children were allowed to use the existing toys and therefore very happy. We enjoyed the citrus fruits and the delicious olive oil. The welcome was very warm, even though we didn't get to know the hosts ourselves. They were very interested in making everything fit and always available. The beds were super comfortable and the nights quiet. Scenic, the area is very charming and lush green. There are great hiking opportunities and river bathing spots. Thanks for the wonderful time!

We were looking for a house in the country with peaceful surroundings that could fit 9 of us and that’s what we found at Antonio’s Quinta. Spectacular accommodations, impeccable grounds, a great view and a pool round out this amazing stay. Lena, who works at the Quinta, was extremely helpful and ready to serve the houseguests. Despite being over 100 years old, the house was very comfortable, bedrooms had A/C and nice mattresses, showers had plenty of hot water, and the dining area was big enough to fit all of us for meals. The outside grounds were beautiful - the pool area was a nice touch to be able to enjoy the great weather. No hesitations whatsoever to recommend this special Quinta. 5 stars.

We only had one night, but we did very well. The pool is small, but to get wet is perfect.

house in a very quiet area, close to everything. the house is old but very well maintained. we made a lot of card and board games available in the house with our daughter , we had a good fruit from the backyard , we grilled on the barbecue available. Filipa gave us an amazing itinerary of river beaches, parties and pilgrimages and even cinema. despite the weight of the age , everything was very clean and organized and everything was very comfortable. we will come back with the rest of the family because we love the area and the house. thank you so much for the wonderful tips they gave us and the welcome pampering! it's located in a very quiet village, nice views, friendly host and neighbours. we came during winter and it was really good but we assume it's even better during the summer.

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

We loved being in Casa da Neta, the place very quiet, pleasant, very clean and with comfortable dimensions for a large family. The site is much better than what we see in the photos. D. Célia was very friendly and always ready to help.

The proposed accommodation has been recently renovated, it is very clean, tastefully decorated, and all amenities are brand new. The apartment is in the center of the village, on a pedestrian street, but still very easy to access. There is plenty to do in the area, especially for hiking and nature lovers. Our host was always responsive and provided good advice, and thought of the children since we found some games and touches for them! We recommend Helena for your upcoming stay in Amieira do Tejo!

Very charming and charismatic. The decoration was peculiar and interesting. The house was as described. Interesting sleeping arrangements, that badge the house fun.

If you were looking for a place in Portugal to stay look no further. Carlos and his wife were the best host that I have ever experienced. I have traveled the world both with my job and for vacation and this place is amazing. The morning bread with pastries, freshly squeezed, orange juice, milk!! They went above and beyond and made us homemade soup. They also informed us of events nearby that you could not find online (a bull fight, festival) Carlos was so great and helped us package souvenirs to send home! The castles and churches in this area must be seen. The house is so clean and has every amenity you need away from home. I even came back one day and my laundry was folded that I had hung out to dry. We loved Portugal and this Airbnb so much we have already scheduled our next trip back. It is rare that you find a property and people like this anymore. We made amazing memories.
