Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Proença-a-Nova

Liliana is attentive and answered all my questions, left us lots of fruit and also cleaning products. The house is large and very well equipped, it had everything for cooking, and to spend 5 quiet days. There is heating in the bedrooms and a fireplace in the kitchen and also in the basement. The house is equipped with games, dishes, machines, utensils, absolutely everything. The surroundings are very calm, the view is beautiful. But there is nothing to do in Pera, in Castanheira de Pera there are already some shops. It is really a house to rest, hike and isolate yourself.

A very nice and relaxing house with everything you could need. The surroundings are super nice and private. Plenty of places where you can lie on the lake and swim.

It was spacious, well equipped and better than the photos depicted. Alison and Rod have renovated this property with love and care and provided everything you need and more for a relaxing stay.

An oasis of peace and a very enchanting property with its own charm and character. We enjoyed our stay, friendly and open-minded people, James cares and cares wherever possible. Rarely have we felt so welcome and comfortable. The cleanliness and amenities are excellent. In nearby Vila de Rei you will find everything you need. We would love to repeat our stay in the future, we miss it already.

It became really wonderful when it stopped raining and we could have breakfast on the cozy little terrace and read for hours in the shade on the loungers. Awesome views of the reservoir! Thank you Francisco! Also for the vitamin in the form of fresh oranges and the juicer provided!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences. The place is amazing with stunning views and the air filled with the scent of orange blossoms and eucalyptus trees. Joao’s house is super clean, nicely decorated and very well equipped. We had everything we needed. João was a great host. Helpful, nice and responsive. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone who admires the nature, peace and quiet. I’d love to come back one day.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Peaceful, quiet, and I loved the orange and lemon trees. Listening to the birds while enjoying the view was a real treat! Joao was extremely professional and communicative - it’s clear he has put a lot of time and attention into the Airbnb.

❤️ We were allowed to spend 4 weeks with Richard and Fiona and stayed in the beautiful apartment under their own apartment. We already had a lot of nice hosts, but the two surpassed everything. They are so incredibly friendly and warm people who welcomed us with open arms, inquired more often about our well-being, gave us valuable tips for the area. We got fresh oranges from their trees, which were incredibly delicious and otherwise felt like kings. Both are very respectful and interesting people who have exciting stories to tell. The apartment is beautiful and cozy. It is clean and lovingly furnished. The bed and bedroom are huge. There is a yard and terrace. The surroundings are idyllic and are wonderful for hiking. There is nothing we were missing. We recommend everyone to get here. A magical place with magical people.

Very nice accommodation, well equipped. Beautiful environment surrounded by nature. Be careful, vacation homes are under construction nearby, causing some noise disturbances but this should not last. Host not very responsive in communication but always responds to messages in the end. I would recommend it.

Best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! Views and location were breathtaking. Eric’s Airbnb was extremely clean & had everything you could need. Eric was an amazing host who went above & beyond for us. Very proactive & helped out with any request we had, even when we needed to find a vet for my dog he was very responsive. The pool was incredible, hiking down to the lake & kayaking will be my favourite parts of our holiday. Already planned a trip for next year!!!

We had a really nice stay here. The views from the pool are incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of trails a short drive away. My partner used the canoe and went out on the lake. The owner lives next door and is very relaxed and friendly. We took our dog and she got on very well with his two dogs. If you have a baby it’s worth asking in advance if you need a cot as we didn’t do this and one wasn’t available. If your baby is very mobile it wouldn’t be very safe on the pool deck as there is a big-ish drop.

As always, through out all the years , since 2018, when I started visiting the place, it remains my favourite spot in this part of beatuiful Portugal! Highly recommended!

We love staying at Rita’s place the ‘Cat Hotel’. It is in the heart of Portugal and this guesthouse in the heart of Pedrogao Grande is the heart of Portugal. Lots of beautiful places to visit, river beaches, pizza or burgers by Barragem do Cabril or vegan/ vege tapas at Pashamumma. Highly recommended.

My family and I had a lovely week with Denise and her daughter. The apartment was lovely bright and spacious, with 3 good rooms. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool and lemon tree. It was easy to drive out to the many beautiful cities and hikes.
