We had a lovely stay at Marina’s place. We arrived on the eve of Eid. She was so kind to take us to the grocery store in case the stores would be closed the next day. She also brought us special homemade Rendang on Eid. The place was very peaceful and a good value for the money. There were plenty of fans. Bathroom was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering. However, Grab also delivers to the location so we were also able to order food. The wraparound porch was a nice place to read books. There were also lots of books available in the bungalow. When we had questions the host was quick to respond. Nice place to stay if you want an authentic rural, tranquil retreat.

For the price we paid and what we got, this place is an absolute gem. Just 15 minutes from the airport, the villa offers one of the most scenic views you’ll find in Langkawi (as long as you don’t arrive at night!). My partner and I genuinely enjoyed the ride to and from the villa every time, we never got tired of the surroundings. Everyone I FaceTimed was blown away by how beautiful the property looked. More than a few assumed I was ‘splashing out on myself’, but truthfully, this villa is both affordable and outstanding. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a young man named Azary, who introduced the property in a friendly yet informative way. His hospitality was top-notch; complimenting us, opening doors, helping with luggage. It’s rare to see that level of politeness and care these days. If you’re looking for a private, peaceful, and beautiful place to stay in Langkawi, this is a no-brainer.

Perfect getaway from the touristy areas. The chalet was very clean and Koi made excellent food for us. We enjoyed reading books at the beach. Very friendly, relaxed athmosphere. Only con was the music occasionally coming from the city/boats.
