House vacation rentals in Quamby Brook

We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

We had a relaxing trip, the house was great for our two families with kids. The pizza oven was definitely the highlight and the view was gorgeous Kitchen had more than you need and everything was well stocked.

We as an extended family make this a regular family getaway. We have always had such a great time and thoroughly enjoy all the activities on offer. Some fierce 8 ball is played. Cricket and football in the huge yard. A spot of fishing nearby and swimming in the beautiful pool is always a highlight. An added bonus this year was getting a message to say we could check in early. Thank you again. The memories we get from our stay are beautiful. A trip to the Beaconsfield mine was also a highlight this year.

Stargazers Cottage was so beautiful, situated right on the water on a huge private property. We loved watching the galahs, swans and water birds fly past while we soaked in the hot tub or sat on the deck. We even saw a seal out in the bay. It was comfortable and peaceful. The cinema room and games collection went down well with the 9 year old. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, two nights just wasn't enough!

Kyle was a fantastic host! Responded straight away when we had any questions. The place was fantastic for a week away! I couldn’t recommend the property more!

A fantastic find in the beautiful Turners Beach. We had a group of 12 and the house was the perfect size for us. A short walk to the beach. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the Berry patch just down the road. This stay was a special one, booked for my mother's 70th. It truly was a weekend to remember!! We didnt want to leave. Thankyou for having us. We decided we will make it a tradition and return every year! Highly recommend!! 💝

We chose to spend some peaceful days out at Gravelly Beach, to escape and explore the Tamar region. Henderson's is a great base to do so, close to Launceston if you need, and close to the wineries (for parents!) and Tasmania Zoo (for kids!). The accommodation was both spotless and welcoming with all needs provided for.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. The house down under is just perfect. So well equipped. Patrick and Indira are excellent hosts. Patrick gave excellent advice for our touring. Thank you both. I absolutely recommend staying at your house down under.

Always a great stay at Amanda's house. The place is always clean, it's a great size and in a great location. This was my second visit and it's worth every cent. Amanda also left Easter eggs out for my little ones which was very considerate of her. 🙂

We had a great stay at Kristy's. Kristy was a great communicator, the accommodation has everything you need and you feel at home straight away. The location is great.

Really glad to have come across Sangeeth's apartment. Everything about the house was great. Outside area was large enough for 2 cars. Inside the house, every thing was clean and cozy. Really love the carpeted flooring at the rooms. felt so comfy. In additional are the nice thoughts of the complimentary staple food for breakfast provided. It was a waste that Launceston was only a drive by this time round where we only had a night here. But for those who have more time here with a group of people. You will love this place. Oh yeah, forgot to mention it's like only 5 mins drive to town and also the scenery from the balcony. Thank you so much Sangeeth.😊

This was our second time staying at Shari’s place and again it was a beautiful stay. The accommodation was perfect for us and in close location to our family staying at the caravan park. We will be back again 😊

Great spot with good views, easy access to Bridport shops, parks, beach and pubs. Nice addition of toys for kids and comfy couches.

Having visited Launceston regularly for over 20 years this beautiful home is the best we have ever enjoyed. Immaculately presented and restored period terrace with everything you could wish for. Spotlessly clean and furnished with comfort and convenience in mind. For once even somewhere to put your case in every bedroom, take note other Airbnbs These hosts obviously know what travelers need. Stayed this place during Easter holiday and it was great. Two houses are good enough for a few families. Our kids enjoyed the stay. Well equipped with amenities and felt like the home. Closer to attractions. Highly recommended. Looking forward to stay again. Thanks you for hosting us.

What a wonderful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Lark's place - looking out the expansive windows to the glorious views, cooking up a lovely meal in the well-equipped kitchen and being together in an extended family group. It is truly a lovely house and we will definitely return for future stays. Lark is a great host - nothing is too difficult and she was very responsive to every approach. Our engagement with her could not have been easier.

Our stay at relbia retreat was amazing. Just what we needed. It is so close by to Josef chromy so we walked there during the day and then had a relaxing arvo/evening back at the house. Absolutely beautiful house and gorgeous gardens. Peaceful and restful. House is enormous and loved all the little different areas to sit in the sun and read a book. Spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Jayne was lovely and easy to chat with throughout the booking/ stay. Thanks so much for having us.

The stars, the peace and the wildlife.. this place had it all. We were in Tasmania to watch our son compete in a rowing tournament and picked the property because of proximity… but it was so much more than convenient… it felt like home. It was peaceful and super comfortable, have not slept this well in ages. Felt like visiting a favourite relative. Gen was a joy to communicate with and everything was as described.. the property is amazing, the walks so good and the tree house loved by Ms 12.

Our long stay at June and Gil’s home was an excellent experience. As soon as we walked in the house it felt like a home away from home- actually reminding me of my Grandmothers home. A lovingly restored heritage home in a great neighbourhood. The location, close to coffee shops, grocery shops restaurants and the CBD cannot be beat- very walkable to all. Well stocked kitchen with great amenities- great oven, very clean barbeque, lots of crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. June was easily available via phone, text and email with a very quick response time. My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay while Launceston to visit family and will not hesitate to rent again. We highly recommend.

Pat’s place is huge and spacious ! We absolutely loved the pool table and although we share the land with others, we have the whole house to ourselves ! Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!
