Vacation rentals in Quechee, Hartford

The Mendon Cottage is clean, cozy and private. It’s just a 15 minute drive to Killington base, even in a fairly decent snow storm. There are trails behind the property that offered some good hiking for our doggo (they’re made for snowmobiles, but we didn’t spot one during our stay). The property delivers on its main promise: a less pricey alternative to staying at Killington, with very little inconvenience for the ski bums. Unless you simply can’t live without the ability to take the shuttle and ski off the mountain to your rental, you really can’t go wrong with this property. (It snowed our entire stay and the private road and driveway were plowed repeatedly and always navigable.)

This was my second stay and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Easy to get in and out. The place is warm, shower is hot, things are clean.

Had a great stay with friends at Laura’s place. Laura was friendly flexible and reached out to make sure we didn’t have any issues checking in. Very nice place with a nice Vermont feel. 10-15 minutes from skyeship base. Had a great weekend. Would stay again.

Beautiful home that is about 15min from Manchester, which is wonderful to walk around (shops, restaurants). The home is secluded on a nice piece of property in the woods. It was a charming getaway with a wood-burning fireplace and great amenities (games, dart board, hot tub, etc). Highly recommend!

Sadie’s ski house was fantastic! It had everything we needed for a group of five adults and a child, and was only a short walk to a ski trail (great eastern). Check in/out was very easy. I’d be happy to stay again!

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

We stayed here while visiting family in Hanover forThanksgiving. A spacious house nestled within an amazing wooded area. We had the pleasure of waking up to all the trees covered in fresh snow. All the more perfect because the house has huge windows lots of natural light. Highly recommend.

Had a great midweek family ski vaca and the house was perfect for our needs. Close proximity to Okemo and town. The house had lots of room to spread out, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Robyn and her family are great hosts. She and her son were there when we arrived shoveling the drive way, gave us some helpful tips about the house, very friendly and accommodating - we were able to check in a couple of hours early and really made us feel right at home. Beautiful house with all amenities: Kitchen had everything would need to cook for several days (pots, pans, utensils, glass/coffee mugs, and even provided coffee and filters) - we only needed to bring food to prepare. Stores were close by and easy to get to. Bathrooms were pristine with plenty of towels and toiletries, bedrooms were spotless and comfortable, and had a great fireplace that was very useful during some cold days. About 15-20 minutes to Killington Mountain - easy drive. Fantastic property and we had an amazing stay, would definitely come back!
