A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.

The idyllic cottage is located on the slope, in its own peace, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. You should arrive at the cottage via road 1030, NOT via Rakuunatorpantie = wrong route + big uphill). Children under 16 years old FREE (2 children, accompanied by an adult). UNFORTUNATELY, PETS ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE COTTAGE. In the midst of the energy crisis, the electric car charge is priced separately at 15e/day. Alternatively, report the electricity meter readings before and after your stay.

Seafarers and hatmakers have since 1880s enjoyed life on the property where an old stable and cabin were transformed into modern living in the 70s. Now fully renovated keeping the 70s vibe and furnished with Finnish design. The hosts look forward to share the closed cosy garden in the Old Town - you only have 100 meters to the ocean, the old church with its beautiful tower and the market place.

There is also available a separate wood-heated sauna (built 1980), a small rowing boat and a parking area with electricity for charging/heaters

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-heated traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

A nice and easy cottage close to long shallow beaches and forest trails. Only 90 mins from Helsinki by car or by train (2 km from station), 15 mins from Tammisaari and 25 min from Hanko. At the cottage you can enjoy a soft steam in the wood-heated sauna and cool down on the large balcony. The forests nearby are perfect for picking berries and mushrooms. We also recommend checking out the Skogby frisbeegolf course and other local museums and activities.

Come & enjoy luxury cottage in lake district Finland with main and sauna house w/ 3 bedrooms with 6 beds and upper floor with 4 beds more, 2 saunas, upstairs game area and all necessary amenities + bathtub. Beach & terrace to south. There is also an outdoor fireplace with small "half-cottage" / laavu on the north side of the peninsula. Preferred arrival/departure day for longer stays is Sunday.

Stugan finns på en liten ö, du är aldrig långt från Finska vikens vatten. Om du tycker om att simma och basta finns den perfekta klippan i morgonsolen.
