we enjoyed our stay. the cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, is comfortable, clean and well maintained. there are some nice areas to explore closeby, however, be mindful that you will need to drive.

Our second stay here was as great as the first. The place was clean and comfortable. We visited in April and got to enjoy bird watching and listening to the stream right from the guesthouse. We took Omi's advice to take a scenic drive to Senaca Rocks which we also recommend. The guesthouse location is a nice, scenic drive from Harrisonburg (where you can shop and dine if desired). We definitely recommend Omi's place and will be happy to return for another weekend getaway.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here, and some great improvements were made since the first time. Really nice little house, perfect for what we are looking for. Trout stream access, firepit, proximity to some great mountain biking trails. Nice grill outside, full kitchen. It's clean, the hosts are friendly and responsive, you really can't beat it. And it's reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Farmhouse for our annual “Sisters weekend” with my 3 sisters and our young kids. The house has old charm with modern amenities. There was plenty to entertain the kids ages 1.5-5, from games, toys, and a huge yard to run and play in. They really made traveling with kids easy with all the extra stuff they provide (pack and play, high chair, kids plates/silverware, and toys). The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed the fire pit on two nights and it was the perfect setting for a spring evening. The only surprise was that the second floor bathroom was inside of one of the rooms. So you had to go in someone else’s room if you needed it during the night. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but just something to be aware of depending on who you are traveling with.
