“We had a great visit! The room was clean and cozy, and it was just perfect for the two of us on our short visit. The location was super convenient and we enjoyed walking around the peaceful town, getting drinks at the inn, and enjoying some pizza from Propaganda Pie (just a short stroll down the street). The view of the river from the back of the unit was gorgeous. I guess I didn’t realize the patio space was shared with other units, but it really wasn’t an issue because there weren’t many guests using the outdoor space at any given time. We also had a hard time with the coffee maker. Maybe it was user error, but it seemed to only produce an ounce of coffee per button push—it took a while to brew a mug (it’s a single serve maker, similar to a Kuereg). There were complimentary pods in the unit, so no need to bring your own coffee. All in all, it was a wonderful visit. We hope to come back soon!”

“This was a spectacular trip! Absolutely every single thing was perfection. Being right by Redstone and Crystal River was the most lovely surprise. We ventured up to Marble/Beaver Creek to fish with the kids. We played in Crystal River. We hiked to Thomas Lake. Went rafting with Defiance in Glenwood Springs. Carbondale was a lovely place to get food & Whole Foods in Basalt/Willits. Lauren always gave me a quick response and helped with any local tips needed. We couldn’t be more over the moon about this trip...& on that note, the stars...oh the stars. This place is so lovely, I like another reviewer want to keep it a secret. Lastly, the extra extra high notes were the stellar views, magical native landscaping, Ruby throated hummingbirds, & mule deer. We can not wait to return. So much gratitude for this slice of heaven.”

“Margaret's giant log cabin provided an outstanding get-away for our family, just when we needed it. They love and care for this place, so it is not your average AirBnB rental! It is immaculately kept, very well stocked, and in an amazing location in the super-laid-back and quaint Redstone. I booked it in March when Covid-19 was going to cancel our big summer trip, and selected this place for its hot tub, size, and rural location. It was our luxurious splurge for the 4 of us, providing us plenty of room, and you easily get what you pay for! I'm surprised how big it is. It said 2 bedrooms, but that's an undersell-- there are 2 enclosed bedrooms, and a bunch of beds upstairs, so you can comfortably have 2 families with kids here. We'd absolutely come back, probably splitting it with another family. Ask Margaret anything, she'll get back to you right away.”
