Beautiful lakeside location. The home was very cozy and comfortable- everything worked well. The lake was low when we were there but still really pretty. Owner was great about answering questions about our stay prior to our arrival as well.

We were comfortable from the moment we walked through the door of this house. It's welcoming with an ideal balance of private and communal space, inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed, so over three days we ate every meal at the house. We didn't always need to cook because there was prepared food within a few minutes' drive. Susan provided plenty of suggestions for groceries, restaurants, and activities at Veterans State Park. We all slept great and attribute that to the quality of the bedding and mattresses as well as the sense of peace in the neighborhood. We spent evenings working on a puzzle enjoying a cozy fire and the fairy lights around the mantle. The wifi allowed remote work. Susan communicated well and was quick to respond to questions. She was personable and welcoming. We look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the pool and spend more time on the dock watching the sunset. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thanks, Susan!

This place was absolutely beautiful. You walk outside and you are right on the lake. They also were really thoughtful about everything inside. It was later that night, and my stinky breath self realized I forgot my toothbrush at home. I opened the bathroom drawer...and boom...a toothbrush and toothpaste in plastic. Thank you! My breath no longer stinks! The only thing I didn't know was that the beds and the living room were in the same room. I'm pretty sure that this was clearly laid out in the listing and I didn't pay attention, but just want others to know this is a reality if they aren't paying attention like me. I would stay in this place a million times. Maybe since my breath no longer stinks they will sell it to me? ;). Thanks again!

We had a great experience at the house. There was plenty of living space, a comfy couch and dining area. It was nice to have a full kitchen and laundry, too. Our favorite thing was to relax out on the big deck surrounded by nature. Pine Mountain is a peaceful place to unwind and just a short drive down to town for food and shopping.

Amazing home right on the lake! My family of five, including 3 teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed staying on the lake. The home was spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. The open layout provided a great gathering place for us to wind down at the end of each day. The pool area was a nice place to relax on the 85 degree days. My youngest son spent everyday fishing off the dock and loved every minute. There were a couple of nice golf courses in the area that we visited as well. The home and area make for a great area to enjoy the outdoors! There is a Walmart super store only 15-20 mins away so everything you forgot is available nearby.
