Such a fantastic apartment and beautiful spot that this was a return trip. Olivier the owner - and his friend Alessanrdro who met us for check-in, were wonderful hosts. The corner apartment, with aspect onto the canal and to the Arsenale square is simply hard to beat. Impeccably renovated and a pure delight to relax in when taking a break from walking the streets of Venice. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us.

Stop the search. You've found it!! I've stayed at LOADS of airbnbs, and this I would say is #1. The location itself makes it- that window bringing authentic Venice right to your home, as well as it being close enough to walk to the busy area but a welcome retreat from it when you get 'people' done! Aside from the location however is the superb dressing- the snacks and drinks were so simple but so welcome (esp when you arrive with hungry kids, and beer hungry adults!!)- the size of the place spot on for 2 adults, 2 kids- the beds super comfy (inc the sofa bed!) and dressed with beautiful linen & full of thoughtful touches (showergel etc) All in all - and I'm sure you've got the picture by now- we absolutely LOVED it. Opening the windows on Easter Sunday and hearing the church bells ringing, and the kids watching the boats go past, is a memory that will stay with me for a long time. Thanks for making it so special.

It was better than we expected, and we're used to going to other people's homes sometimes. The accommodation was fully prepared for the four of us, and she was super attentive to everything we asked of her. A 10. Thank you

We had a nice stay in Giovanni’s apartment. Giovanni is a true Venetian gentleman. Just meeting him added to our experience in Venice. Thankfully he met us at the waterbus station - otherwise we may not have found the place. It is in a very quiet part of Venice - nice to be away from the crowds of tourists. His information booklet and restaurant recommendations were excellent! Thank you for hosting us Giovanni
