Absolutely incredible place. Very peaceful and scenic and provided with everything we could have needed. Wonderful hosts, would love to stay again.

We had the best time here! Penny and Ant were so welcoming and kind. They gave us maps and recommended nice walks in the area which was so helpful. The shepherds hut itself was perfect, really cosy with the wood fire stove and great selection of games. It has everything you need, nice hot shower and Penny provides delicious breakfast food and scones. Such a special place, can’t recommend enough!

This is a unique place.. you have to like wild and back to basics.. I stayed in the circus trailer. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried at first at the slightly tired appearance. But once the fire was lit, the fairy lights were on it was perfect. The most comfortable bed with the greatest view from it. Tea making facility and somewhere to charge my phone. Toilet and shower block were spotless, the shared kitchen and use of fridge and cookers was great. Fire pit and wood supplied and it was the most amazing dark space. The view of the stars, ISS and starlink were the best I’ve ever seen. I stayed here so I could walk the SWCP and it’s a 15-20 min walk to Polperro from the site so it was perfect. I would stay here again. This is definitely a wild, back to basics place to stay but I loved it. Matt was super helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Came down for two nights and it was so peaceful and charming that we stayed for three. Juliet was really helpful throughout, the well stocked kitchen was a pleasant suprise and made the stay a dream, and waking up in that beautiful secluded little space with the birds singing was such a welcome break from out London home. The whole space felt very private and you can really relax there. It's not the easiest place to find, but Juliet's instructions were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we're around the area Thanks Juliet!

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

Beautiful in so many ways!! The views are outstanding and location is so peaceful. Lovely outside space with all you may need. Watching the outside countryside while in the hot tub was stunning. The hut had all you needed with the finishing touches. Well equipped kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Supermarket only 5 minutes drive and lovely local pubs. We weren’t greeted with the weather but still a lovely place to set the fire and enjoy the views, Highly recommend! Will definetly be returning! ❤️

An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

Had an amazing few days as Diddylake, it was so charming and peaceful, would highly recommend for anyone hoping to have a peaceful getaway and disconnect from the outside world.

Exactly as advertised - beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous part of Cornwall. Spotlessly clean, nice bathroom facilities and lots of useful information about the local area thoughtfully provided by host.

A great place to stay and explore Dartmoor. The views from the hut are amazing and the hut itself is a fun experience. Simon is a delightful host and always quick to help out - Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Zena has thought of everything you could need for any eventuality. The little hut is full of anything you might possibly need. Was spotlessly clean. Zena messaged before giving clear directions and we found with no issues. Lovely grounds to walk around. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend. We will definitely visit again for longer. Thank you Zena for such a beautiful short stay.

Such a great place. The hut is well equipped and very cosy, especially with the fire lit on a damp evening. The views are incredible. The donkey sanctuary next door was an added bonus. Surrounded by nature, we left feeling refreshed and happy. Thank you. We will be back.

Had an absolutely lovely two nights at the shepherds hut. The location is very private and peaceful, and the hut is surprisingly spacious and modern. Really gorgeous place to stay. Hopefully will come and stay again in the future!

Loved our stay in the shepherd’s hut. It’s cosy and had everything we needed! The interior has been finished to a high standard and is all kept pristine. Highly recommend staying here, my family and I are hoping to be back in the future.

What a lovely tranquil spot, the moment you arrive you are left feeling calm and peaceful in the beautiful grounds of the site. Check-in was friendly and chilled, with a quick show around from Simon, he and Jo are close by during your stay but you feel a million miles away from everything which was perfect for my work trip, they replied super quickly when I asked to buy more wood for the fire! The gardens are lovely, as are the views, the outdoor bath was magical, listening to the birds on a grey evening with a glass of champers whilst you soak - bliss! The cabin speaks for itself and is just like the photos, the little wood burner is wonderful and heats the place up beautifully. Super fast WiFi, again great for my working trip. Looking forward to staying again when I have more free time to explore Cornwall and relax. Thank you Simon & Jo!

Had a really nice stay, felt at home straight away and host Anneli was very friendly and helpful :) Hut is very cozy and location is peaceful, we had a lovely BBQ in the evening and one of the best sleep in a long time! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for places to stay in Cornwall and are unsure. Thank you for making our visit extra special! :)

The shepherd’s hut is such a gorgeous little place to stay. It is kitted out really well and the view from the terrace is stunning. The wood burner keeps you warm and the bed is surprisingly comfortable! Will definitely be back the next time we want to go to Woods in Dulverton.

This is such a peaceful and cosy place and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and bathroom are lovely! Our dog loved exploring the local surroundings. The complimentary Prosecco was also a lovely touch!

We loved our stay in the Shepherds hut. It was so cosy and well equipped. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location within easy walking distance to town.

We had a lovely, short break at Tressa. The hut was lovely and cosy with everything we needed and was in a great location, close to the beaches and a short drive to Padstow. Andrea and Tom were very welcoming and helpful and we hope to return for another stay before long.

We absolutely loved our 4 day stay at the Little Charred Hut, the location is idyllic right in the middle of the woods, near to a babbling brook, it's completely private with no neighbours or passing traffic, just the sound of the birds! The Hut itself has everything you need, it's very cosy with an extensive verandah (with 2 comfy rocking chairs) giving a feel of more sheltered space, which was great as the weather wasn't perfect the whole time. The surrounding area is so beautiful, and an easy drive away from so many beautiful places to explore. We'd highly recommend this gorgeous little place for an intimate stay in the midst of nature.
