Vacation rentals with beach access in Roccalumera

The apartment exceeded my expectations and I think it is very good value. I especially appreciated how charming, large and spacious the apartment feels. High ceilings make the apartment feel bright and spacious. The location of the apartment is superb, not only very close to the beach, but also close to a supermarket, cafes, a patisserie, and specialty fish shop. Agatha provides details about all of these local gems upon arrival. The apartment is in the seaside town of Letojanni, a very short distance from Taormina. By staying in Letojanni, I think I benefit from a more peaceful, relaxing stay, while still easily reaching Taormina for sightseeing. Agatha is a superb host in every way. Timely communication via the AirBnB app, a very kind in person greeting upon arrival and departure made me feel welcomed and at home. The local recommendations were perfect. Thank you Agatha for helping to make my visit to Letojanni so memorable!

Det kändes från början att Concetta skulle ta bra hand om oss…förklarade bussresan från Catanias flygplats genom att skicka tidtabell och foto på busshållplatsen vi skulle stiga av på osv. Concetta (och hennes man) var på plats när vi kom fram och visade oss dels boendet men också vad vi mer behövde veta för att få en bra och trygg vistelse! Lägenheten var fantastisk och läget med typ 10 steg över vägen och där var havet - är helt oslagbar! För att inte tala om den lilla men härliga terrassen…🙏🏻 Ett helt fullt utrustat kök med dessutom tvättmaskin! Man fick nya sängkläder/handdukar/strandhanddukar och t o m toapapper ingick. Allt detta och vetskapen att Concetta alltid fanns tillhands om det skulle vara något gjorde att vår alldeles för korta vistelse blev något utöver det vanliga!! Vi kommer väldigt gärna tillbaka!!! Tack!!

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Wohnung nahe am Strand. Über einen Fußweg erreicht man innerhalb von 5 min zahlreiche gute Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Die Ausstattung mit Klimaanlagen, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine ist sehr gut. Der Privatparkplatz passt gut für die typischen italienischen Kleinwagen.

Marco and his parent were the sweetest hosts. We where traveling with our two small children and they where so considerate, finding useful stuff, toys, beach towels, highchair etc. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality. Everyday we woke up to the sunrise. Unfortunately the gas went out, and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Things that sometimes happen. But the way the family helped us and responded so quickly to our needs was amazing. Useful things to know: the public transport with bus is very unpredictable. There is a noisy street right in front of the building, but the sound of the ocean is higher, so you won’t hear it that much. The apartment is located in the best part and more local restaurants are nearby. To walk to the train station from the apartment is very uncomfortable, without sidewalks on some of the road.

Excellent condo, very clean, well appointed, beautiful views, and comfortable with split AC units in living area and both bedrooms to keep cool at night. Very close walk to Isola Bella beach area. Close walk to funicular that takes you up to Taormina town, and restaurants are also a close walk way. Note that funicular costs $6 per person one way up to the town, and $10 roundtrip...a bit pricey for such a short ride. It is a relatively easy walk down the mountain from Taormina back to the beach area and condo though, so recommend doing that and getting a little exercise on the way down. Walkway drops you right near the condo. Parking is easy in the gated condo community, so car is in a safe area. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Taormina.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern (2x Doppelbett, 1x 2 Einzelbetten z.B. für Kinder) und Balkon mit Meerblick(!) in Giardini Garden, nahe Taormina. In Strandlage mit vielen Restaurants an der Uferstraße. Natürlich hört man auch mal die Autos und hupende Mopeds, aber insgesamt ist es relativ ruhig.

My family and I had a great time in this place. It’s really clean, luminous and well arranged. It’s wonderful to see Isola Bella and the sea from the terrace and the windows. We had great exchanges with the host. It was a great journey!

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place in Sicily. Honestly, the listing doesn’t even begin to capture how special and beautiful the house is. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the marina—and you can see the sea from almost every corner of the home. There are multiple terraces and seating areas, and the house itself is incredibly spacious. One of our favorite things was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. Sergio was also super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. He left a very detailed guide full of fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Lovely sandy pubic beach out front, and a lovely space within. After traveling for many months, we were happy to have a good kitchen. Super quiet. A good value within the area (of wealthy resorts). The place smells very clean. Book it!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Aci Castello, village charmant, où l'on trouve plusieurs restaurants et tous les commerces nécessaires à moins d'1km de l'hébergement. La terrasse est vraiment très agreable et permet de prendre le petit déjeuner au soleil, même en décembre... Le coeur de ce petit village situé en bord de mer a beaucoup de charme. Nous recommandons sans hésitation! Merci à Stefania et Ricardo, qui se sont montrés très souples sur notre horaire d'arrivée et de départ.

Obere Wohnung in wunderbarem 2-Whg.-Haus in ruhiger Lage, sehr schön und vorausschauend mit allem eingerichtet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit tollem Blick auf das nahe Meer, Schlafen mit sanftem Meeresrauschen, herrlich. Zugang zu Pools und Meer über einen kleinen, schönen Garten. Gastgeber Daniele hilfsbereit, zuverlässig, sehr freundlich, sein Deutsch ist perfekt, gute Tipps. Ort Giardini Naxos sehr lebhaft, Vor-oder Nachsaison empfehlenswert. Geführte Tour zum Ätna lohnt sich, unser Guide Denny (Sicily-Adventure) Extra-Klasse, weil er viel wusste und witzig war. Außerdem gut organisiert. Tipp: man kann alle Ziele gut mit dem Bus (Fahrer sind nervenstarke Künstler) erreichen!!! Castelmola ein Muss. Vom Flughafen Catania übrigens auch problemloser Bustransfer. Mietwagen kann man sich eigentlich sparen! Zu guter Letzt: Italiener/innen sehr freundliche Leute! Und Autofahren können sie sehr gut, auch wenn man es als Deutscher kaum glaubt…

Eine einfache aber wunderschöne Villa mit viel Platz, mehreren Terassen und einem wunderschönen und unverbautem Blick auf das Meer. Von dort kann man zu Fuß oder auch mit dem Auto die Gegend erkunden und man kann jeden Tag etwas neues entdecken. Sei es das Castello, den Capo Milazzo oder das alte und neue Zentrum der Stadt. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber auch das hat seinen Charme. Ja, es gibt keine richtigen Duschen oder eine Klimaanlage, aber das wurde durch die Aussicht, den großzügigen Garten und vieles mehr wieder wettgemacht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch Alessandra und ihre Familie. Superfreundlich, hilfsbereit und reagieren total nett und zeitnah auf Anfragen. Vielen Dank für 2 tolle Wochen auf Sizilien.

J’ai passé un très bon séjour avec ma maman. Nous avons même vue le volcan en activité depuis le jardin et nous pouvions avoir des oranges et citron du jardin. Idéal pour venir en famille

Das Haus ist toll, super Aufteilung der Zimmer, es wirkt dadurch viel größer als man es sich bei 35m² vorstellt. Ganz toll sind die Fensterläden und Mückengitter in den Schlafzimmern, so dass man wirklich bei Dunkelheit schlafen kann. Der Strand ist super nah und der Garten sehr schön. Leider gibt es in der Gegend sehr viele Mücken, so dass wir häufig drinnen saßen, obwohl wir super Wetter hatten. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, um etwas zu unternehmen.

In Antonios Wohnung hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Sie war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super zentral am Beginn der langen Strandpromenade mit Blick aufs Meer und Sizilien.👍Die Fußgängerzone und der Hafen sind auch nur wenige Meter entfernt. Verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ganz in der Nähe. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die sehr befahrene Straße vor dem Haus. Das ist besonders nachts etwas störend. Antonio war ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Unsere Fragen wurden prompt beantwortet, er gab nützliche Tipps und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen, Restaurants und Eisbars. Für die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen hat er uns sogar ein Taxi gebucht. Danke, Antonio, für den angenehmen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gern wieder.

Um zum Zentrum oder zum Strand zu gelangen oder am Abend zurück muss men viele Stufen gehen ( oder man nutzt den Bus). Aber genau das macht den Reiz aus. Die Wohnung liegt auch im Haus ganz oben und das ist schön.

A very kind host that gave us a lot of information and was always avaliable. The place was clean and had a lot of basic supplies to cook and water in the fridge when we arrived. The only downside was maybe the paperthin walls where we heard both constructions and the neighbors. The pool was also closed for the season which was a bit sad. On the plus side the ocean is beautiful and the village very sweet and close to a lot of nice things. All in all a lovely stay, we recommend it!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse und der Ausblick ein Traum. Angelo hat sich schnell und gut gekümmert und auch einen sehr freundlichen Fahrer für den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert. Auf dem Europaplatz vor dem Haus ist auch Nachts einiges los, aber dank der Höhe der Wohnung ist das nicht störend. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist dank des Bahnhofs „Europa“ und AMTS-Bussen (die allerdings hin und wieder einfach vor dem Eintreffen an der Haltestelle - obwohl angekündigt - verschwinden und man so deutlich länger warten muss) gut. Auch eine U-Bahn Station ist in der Nähe. Um Catania kennen zu lernen muss man also kein Auto ausleihen. Einen Tipp von dem netten Transfer-Fahrer geben wir gerne weiter. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (also ganz in der Nähe). Unbedingt hingehen: Ein Törtchen-Genussparadies!

Domenica und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir hatten einfach eine tolle Zeit. Die Riesengroße Terasse war ein super Plus, mit atemberaubender Aussicht auf das Meer und tollem Sonnenaufgang 🌞

Logement bien placé, à proximité de Catane, de l'Etna, et à 1h de Taormina. Quartier un peu excentré du centre touristique, mais plusieurs restaurants à proximité à Aci Trezza. Excellentes recommandations de visites et restaurants par nos hôtes. Très bon accueil par Julia, nombreuses recommandations et informations détaillées. Logement un peu exiguë si on imagine y rester à 4, mais idéal pour 2 personnes ! Équipement parfait, avec le nécessaire pour la plage, les parapluies si besoin, etc.

En regardant les photos puis l’appartement, celui-ci est beaucoup plus grand que je le percevais sur les photos. L’appartement est bien éclairé et la terrasse (qui à une vue sur la mer et sur la ville) avait une chaise longue où il faisait bon se détendre. L’appartement est tranquille, le lit très grand et très confortable. Nous avons eu besoin d’un peu de chauffage et le système fonctionnait très bien. Les commodités annoncées étaient toutes disponibles. L’appartement est impeccable, propre, bien décoré et Lucia y a mis de belles touches personnelles en plus de nous réserver un petit souvenir de notre séjour. Lucia a répondu à toutes nos questions et cela s’est fait très rapidement et avec une grande courtoisie. Merci Lucia, je n’hésiterai pas à recommander ton appartement à des amis, merci pour tout et je garde un très beau souvenir de ta magnifique terrasse.
