Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. Nestled in a beautiful valley in the Palatinate Forest, near the southern wine route, lies the Modenbacher Hof, a listed property whose history can be traced back to 1720. Experience the seasons with us from the fruit blossom in April to the apple harvest in October, the colorful forests in November and the quiet valley in winter for winter hiking and feeling good by the fireplace. The house offers enough space for your family reunion, small celebrations and group vacations.

Our luxury apartment "Rebenmeer" is located on the outskirts of Hainfeld, within walking distance of the Koch wine pavilion and Scherr winery. The vineyards start right behind the house. An ideal location for hiking on foot and stopping in the huts in the Palatinate Forest. The occupancy is designed for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Close enough to participate in the colorful hustle and bustle of the weekly market, cozy wine bars, good restaurants, quiet cafes and the many sights of the city - and yet far enough away to lose yourself in the books of our small antiquarian book selection with a good glass of wine.

Beautifully located in the Modenbacher Valley, our horse farm is in a secluded location. Surrounded by pastures, ponds and the Palatinate Forest, there is a lot to experience here. Whether for mountain bikers, hikers, small families or simply people who want to get out into nature, there is something for everyone to do. We would be happy to welcome you to our modern furnished small one-room apartment. From here, you can start in nature immediately.

Beautifully located in the middle of nature is our horse farm in a secluded location, the Modenbacher Hof. In addition to horses, meadows and forest, we also have apartments. This friendly, sunny apartment with a small terrace invites families, couples and nature-loving people to spend time in the countryside. Whether forest, playground, wine road, vineyards or Palatinate villages and towns, everything is accessible on foot or with short journeys.

Holiday room with bathroom and separate entrance

Treat yourself to a little time out in our lovingly furnished vacation room. The room is located in the basement of our single-family house and with its 25 sqm has everything you need for a short stay. The room has its own entrance (not barrier-free) and is closed off from our living area. It is equipped with a double bed (160x200), desk, kitchen and seating area. Towels and hairdryer are in the private bathroom.
