House vacation rentals in Rough River

Everything was great. The water did not get overly hot in the shower, but it was still good!

Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. Here for graduation and had a wonderful time.

We stayed here over a weekend and the home is amazing. Great location to everything. Very friendly neighborhood. Host are great people and we’re very flexible with our stay. We had some weather that messed up our plans, but host were very quick to help and very simplistic to our issue. Absolutely NO issues with the house, just the weather had other plans.

It was absolutely amazing!!. The place was so spacious. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The beds are very comfortable. Even the outside swing the pillows were absolutely amazing. Everything you could ask for this place has it. We had so much hanging out in the garage and playing games by the pool. The host was amazing. Fast responses and just so welcoming! Also the k cups for coffee was amazing and us girls were very thankful.

Good very good

The cabin looked exactly like the photos and it was right on the water. It was clean and roomy. The cabin had everything you could need from a pack and play for babies to a pet bed and food bowl. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for 2 months on a work trip, and loved my time at the house. Amy and cohost Jenny are very responsive and quick to address any issues that arise. Beautiful property with plenty of space. All amenities the you could need!

I had an incredible stay at Andrew's place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect, close to the facility we were going to be at and restaurants, making it super convenient. The beds were super cozy, the wi-fi was fantastic and there was a lot of space to spread out. What truly made the experience exceptional was Andrew's hospitality. The location of Amanda’s place was ideal for visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. A beautiful 15 minute drive ended right at the visitors center. The house is located in a very pastoral setting but several restaurants are only minutes away. The house had a large screened in porch which we made good use of in the mornings and evenings. One last thing to add: her place was hands down the nearest to the park entrance of all the places we researched.

Perfect getaway close to Mammouth Cave NP! Hot tub was nice after hiking all day. Sara was very responsive and very understanding about early check in when I got the time zones mixed up! Would recommend!

The house had everything we needed and was nicely located for a trip to Owensboro

This is a cute and comfortable cottage that had everything we needed. Jason was readily available for questions when we had them, which wasn’t often because his instructions were clear and easy to follow and everything was in working order. Our purpose was to visit Mammoth Cave National Park, which was an easy 10 minute drive from the house. Cave City has several family friendly tourist attractions that were also convenient to the house. This is a perfect place to stay while visiting the area.

Our second time staying at a Tim & Shannon lodging (first time was Fishy Business in May 2024), and we knew we would have a wonderful time at their Nature's Calling site. We were not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, lovely and comfortable cabin with all the amenities needed. Their place is close to my daughter's home so we were able to visit her and have her and the grandkids visit with us. We hope to stay here again, on our next trip out to Kentucky.
