House Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018, it was fully renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best thing to do is stand in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

This lovely cozy cottage is located in a beautiful location in the outskirts of the Frisian Noordwolde, where there are many birds. Located in the middle of nature in a corridor between the Gees forestry service and the Mantingerveld, with unobstructed views of land. Our farmhouse was completely newly built in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a holiday home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

Very much like 'coming home'

Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
