Our Nook is designed for relaxation and comfort and has everything you need for a delightful stay. Come relax and unwind at our lovely Natures Nook. A beautiful couples retreat away from it all. Just built studio designed for two with comfort in mind. Studio has a very comfortable queen bed with luxurious bedding and a new electric blanket, two captains chairs with a table that flips over for a chess/checkers board, large 42 inch Smart TV with Netflix, Pandora and top 100 cable channels and a just added electric fireplace for added ambiance.. Kitchenette has a mini fridge with a small freezer and is set up with coffee, tea and hot chocolate and a grill to make pancakes or eggs and bacon, plus a toaster and a microwave. We also just added a 2 burner hot plate. :-) Bathroom has an over-sized circular shower with a Rain Shower head for a special treat. Home has air conditioning and Wifi too. Outdoors has a private patio with your own two person hot tub and a brand new BBQ grill with the extra side burner and hammock for those great summer nights. Sit down and relax next to the new chimera (season permitting) . Large outdoor picnic table with Umbrella also just added. Natures Nook borders the National Forest with plenty of great hiking trails straight from it that lead directly to our amazing Bass Lake. As little or as much as desired. :-) RENTAL POLICIES for ALL NATURE'S PROPERTIES About These Policies Please rest assured that the following rules we ask you to agree on are not due to arbitrary reasons. They are due to either insurance rules and qualifications, county regulations or from past experience. _____ Occupancy The maximum occupancy of the Property is strictly limited. Standard Guests rates allow for the number of people indicated reside in the Property for the rental period. For Any additional people: Extra Guests must first be approved by Landlord. Additional charges per person may be applied prior to their arrival. Once the rental period begins, additional people are not allowed on premises without prior approval, and is the sole responsibility of Guest. As noted, People other than those in the registered Guest party may not stay overnight in the property unless previously agreed upon with the Landlord. Guest shall pay for any excessive cleaning due to abnormal use. Guests shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Guests shall then immediately vacate the premises. Quiet hour starts at 10 PM. Please be courteous when using the Hot Tub after quite hours Guest will not cause or allow any undue noise, upon registration of a call or complaint of same to police department, agent or Landlord will automatically have the right to give the Guest notice to vacate without legal action. • Security: Guest must close and lock all doors when away from the property for any amount of time. • Cleanliness: Guest shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition except for average use of premises Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances for their intended uses. • Do not cook fish or otherwise very spicy or pungent food indoors — nothing that the next tenant would notice! (Outdoor gas grill is provided.) Guest is responsible for any pots and pans damaged during their use. ** • Power Conservation: Utilities are included in the rental price. However: Guest agrees that Air Conditioning shall not be set below 75 degrees, heat shall not be set above 78, and the fan setting shall be “Auto.” Doors and windows shall be closed when either heat or air conditioning is in operation. Temperature will be further regulated when guest leaves property for the day. (Don’t leave the house cooled to 75; 85 is cool enough to be made comfortable again as soon as you return.) We strive to provide very fair pricing on all homes, high, unnecessary utility bills cause us to have to raise our rates, which we would hate to do. • Water and Septic: The property is on an effective septic system — however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. This specifically means no sanitary napkins, tampons, other feminine products, or baby wipes, etc. If it is found that such products have been flushed clogged the plumbing, you could be charged all fees incurred to repair. • Check Out Procedures: Individual rentals may have variations, but overall: Do not strip beds; simply make it clear which were used, if applicable. Place all damp or wet towels either in bathtub, laundry basket or on washer. Leave the home much as you found it: no food on the counters, furniture placed back in original state etc. Turn off Air Conditioning/heating before leaving. Ensure all entry doors are locked behind you has you leave and windrows closed. _____ Landlord Access and Inspections • The Landlord or management and its agents have the right to enter and inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. This includes entering to turn of air conditioning or heating if left on high while guest is away. • Guest shall also allow Landlord access to the property for purposes of repair. Landlord shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner and with prior communication to the Guest. • Hot Tub is maintained on a daily basis, typically in the morning. _____ Advisories and indemnification • Hot Tub Use at your own risk. Landlord is not responsible for injury or loss of life associated with its use. It is the Guest’s responsibility to learn about safety precautions, warning signs of water conditions, and safety procedures concerning use of the hot tub. Guest agrees to have a responsible adult supervising minors while they use the hot tub. Guest is hereby notified that the hot tub can be dangerous and Guest accepts fully the risks involved. Guest is further responsible to adhere to the rules posted next to the hot tub. No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tubs at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. The Hot tub is sanitized, refilled and chemicals replenished prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. If you plan to use the night of arrival, increase the temperature to no more than 102° as soon as possible. Do not stand on the hot tub covers. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. • Grills Guest is advised that the property contains a gas grill, and will seek help from management if the proper operation of such item is not fully understood. Accidents from use of the gas grill are the responsibility of the guest, not the Landlord. • Fire extinguisher, alarms The property has a fire extinguisher installed in or near the kitchen area, the exact location of which will be indicated in your rental agreement. These fire extinguishers were fully charged at last inspection. It is the duty of the Guest to inform management immediately should the fire extinguisher become less than fully charged. Guest agrees to use the fire extinguishers only for true emergencies. The property has fire alarms installed and they are believed to function properly at the time of rental. Tenant will notify management without delay if a fire alarm “chirps” or has a low battery condition. The property has a carbon monoxide detector installed on the property it is believed to function properly at the time of rental. Tennant will notify management without delay if the alarm “chirps” or has a low battery condition. • Security Guest shall see to their own security while in the property by locking doors, windows, etc. when it’s prudent to do so. Valuable items left behind by Guest will be held for the Guest and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the Guest for return. If items are not claimed for longer than 1 month they shall become the property of the Landlord. The Landlord shall not be held liable for condition of said items. • Cable, Internet, etc. Cable TV is provided and service level has been chosen by the Landlord. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, or personal preferences with regard to cable TV service. • Wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service. • Storms: No refunds will be given in the event of rainstorm, snow or any other act of nature. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep and there is limited snow removal in the neighborhood. However, the main roads are well maintained. We highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. _____ Release of Responsibility and Liability, Legal Rights The Property is privately owned. The Landlord is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities, [[or from use of the spa]]. The Landlord is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting your reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. The spa and bbq and chimney are a treat to come back to after a days adventure. with a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates - Terri has thought of just about everything to make the place very comfortable

Not much I can say that others haven't already, it was a beautiful, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. My boyfriend and I were looking for a short get-a-way from SF and decided to come up late after work to make the most of the next day. We had a little communication hiccup with Terri regarding our late arrival and some final details about getting to the Nook, but actually AirBNB support was able to provide us with the info so kudo's to their support too. Had everything we needed, we cooked our meals on the great outdoor grill, relaxed under stars in the hot tub, and had a wonderful time exploring Yosemite! Thanks so much Terri for being a warm and welcoming host!

We did not meet Terri in person, but everything was so well prepared that it was easy to settle in without further instructions. Labels in the house explained everything. Communication with Terri was welcoming, clear and in time. The house was a nice cosy place to stay. We enjoyed the BBQ, hottub and the environment in and around Oakhurst.

We are located in a 5 acre minimum neighborhood. Considered a safe family environment, with beautiful views & a peaceful atmosphere.

The bed and breakfast was extremely comfortable and a great place for my family to spend a night on our way to Yosemite. The lodge is extremely close to Yosemite and a great place to stay on your way to the park. The breakfast was delicious as well, and Brenda and her husband were fantastic hosts. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay with John and Brenda at the Sierra Mountain Lodge. The room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfasts yummy, but best of all were our hosts who made us welcome in their home. Very helpful and friendly and gracious. The pine suites were perfect for what we were after. John was at hand as soon as we got there (after a long drive) and made us feel welcome and showed us around. The cabin had good AC and was clean and big. Definitely take them up on the offer of breakfast in the lobby as it will keep you going for the day and also the hosts were on hand for tips before you venture into Yosemite. We would definitely visit again.

Welcome to my family's beautiful 360 acre cattle ranch outside of Yosemite. Homesteaded in 1892. Enjoy a little peace and quiet in a wonderful old cabin on the edge of the Fresno river. Consider it glamping and a wonderful time awaits you.

An old cabin built on stilts on the edge of the Fresno River. Privacy and nature abound. A most relaxing space to quiet down and rest. Best sleep of your life. A gentle breeze and the lull of the river will relax you into a deep slumber upon rich bed linens. Romantic. Secluded. Beautiful. Bathe in the outdoor tub under the stars of the beautiful night sky. Two indoor bedrooms and one great covered screened-in sleeping porch. Best room in the house we think. Spend the afternoon swimming in the Fresno river. Nap in the hammock. And then there are the summer evenings on the deck over the river which are magical. The crickets and the frogs blissfully sing to you. 360 acres of hiking through old mining country with its rivers, springs, mountains and canyons. Perfect for families. A safe and wonderful place to explore. Say hello to our family's cows and horses. Gentle, sweet and docile they are.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the river cabin! It is truly a special place and I miss it already. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is completely peaceful- unbelievably relaxing. It is a great spot if you want to visit Yosemite- a very nice and easy drive. Oakhurst is about a 5 minute drive and has grocery stores, restaurants, etc if you need it. The property itself is fun to explore as well. We spent an afternoon hanging out by the river. I enjoyed watching the cows as well- they would graze outside the cabin. The cabin has a kitchen with all the necessary utensils/pots/pans to make most meals. There were even some goodies (fresh eggs! homemade jelly!) in the fridge for us when we arrived; it was our anniversary as well and they left a bottle of champagne for us which was really sweet and much appreciated. The deck is fantastic- the soaking tub was great as was the outdoor shower. I especially loved the sleeping porch- you can hear the river and enjoy the cool breezes. The bed was very comfortable- I slept for 12 hours one night! The hosts are very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. We would go back to the river cabin in a heartbeat, and I've already recommended it to friends.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Yosemite and had a wonderful, wonderful time (and escape from the city). The cabin is exactly as it appears in the pictures, with the creek just down the hill--if you sleep in the screened-in patio bedroom, you'll awake to the sounds of the babbling creek, trees rustling in the breeze and hummingbirds using the feeder on the patio. We weren't here for long, but saw Canadian geese, wild turkeys, ducks and songbirds. If you're worried about being too remote from civilization, don't be--Ahwanee and Oakhurst are both very close and easy drives, even at night. While breakfast isn't provided, Sam was kind enough to leave fresh eggs from his chicken in the refrigerator for our use. I wish we could have stayed longer--this is a very beautiful and very peaceful place.

We went out there thinking we would explore Yosemite the entire time we were there, but we actually ended up exploring the ranch the first day, instead. On our first morning, we were greeted by a family of cows at the creek. Shortly after breakfast, more cows joined them at the creek, and at that same time, we saw a group of turkeys cross the hillside. We also saw the horses roaming that same afternoon after exploring the property along the river. It's about an hour from the Yosemite Village, but that's not to say there isn't a view along the way. There are plenty of scenic stops on the way in, and Sam and Jerry have plenty of information books and handouts from the park for you to check out before you make your way in. For the cooks in the kitchen, I was incredibly impressed with their pans. NOTHING stuck to them. I know it's not much to most, but to the cook, it makes a difference! Sleeping out on the patio is a must. It's such a beautiful sight to wake up to as well. Photos do this place absolutely no justice. You must see and experience it for yourself! Jerry was so welcoming and so helpful, even though our trip detour (unplanned) brought us there 2 hours later than we wanted to arrive. Sam and Jerry, thank you so much for opening your cabin for others to experience. We cannot thank you enough for our newest memories.

We spent the last night of our honeymoon in the River Cabin and it was perfect. The stars were awesome and even though it got chilly at night, the outdoor room was still warm enough to sleep in. What an amazing Cabin! We had such a wonderful time and loved the peace and tranquility! As we arrived we were greeted by our host and led to our cabin where the cows roamed freely- we watched the sunset off of the back porch while enjoying a bath. The sound of the creek lulled us to sleep shortly there after. The WIFI worked perfectly and had no issues logging in- loved the info sheet provided that told us about the area! In the Morning we explored down by the river and loved getting to splash in the water. While sitting amongst the giant oak trees in the middle of one acre, it is hard to believe you are only 1.5 miles from down town and there is a hight school just on the other side of the trees, or there are nieghbors next door. Peaceful Surroundings

The rooms are not listed seperately, so no bathroom sharing. FREE WIFI The rooms are spacious. There are two rooms available. One room can sleep up to four, and one room can sleep three. The rooms are equipted with it's own TV, selection of movies, Coffe Pot, wall mounted fire place, a sitting chair, a closet for hanging cloths,extra blankets, and windows with a view. The sitting area by the kitchen has nice big windows to sit and enjoy the out doors from the inside. There is an infrared sauna available for use. The back yard has different sitting areas and a fire pit table for sitting and enjoying the nature of things. The shower has good water pressure.

The area is nice, quiet and clean. No fencing, so the land is open and airy. Neighbors are not so close. Clean air. Wild life wanders through the yards freely and can be seen from all around the house.

This is an amazing place for us.The host is very friendly and the breakfast is pretty good.

Dawn was one of the nicest Airbnb host I've ever met! She waited for me and my girlfriend when we arrived very late in the evening (10 PM), very warmly showed us around her house, and even let us picked the room that we wanted! (Since we were staying for more than a day I guess). Her listing is very spacious, and you can find everything you need in the room. Wi-Fi speed was satisfactory as well given the environment the listing was in (we were able to watch HD videos on YouTube). She also made us breakfast while we were there, and packed our breakfast to go very nicely when we have to leave later than usual breakfast time. She showed very high level of attention to detail, which is always appreciated by any Airbnb guest.

My stay at The Mighty Oaks was only one night. I arrived late and left early the next morning, so I could hardly enjoy all the house and its environment have to offer, which should be a lot. It is surrounded by nature and when I got up in the morning I saw a deer looking for food near the terrace at the back of the house. Later, as I left by car, a group of another five deers were grazing beside the road. But what I did get to enjoy was the generous and varied breakfast offered by Dawn. If ever I return to these places, I will try it is for a longer stay, and will definitely return at The Mighty Oaks. Thank you Dawn.

Dawn is a kind and friendly person. She made us feel right at home in her house which was very charming. The house smelled so good. She helped us out with information on what we can do around Oakhurst. The house was beautiful, right in the midst of nature and at night if you keep your windows open, you will hear all kinds of night sounds from insects. Its like living in an awesome nature resort. Dawn makes sure that your stay is comfortable and as pleasant as you can imagine. She was so thoughtful in providing hot chocolate and some Ghiradelli chocolate candy for us in our room. The bathroom is as clean as you can imagine and it smelled divine. In the morning, she gave us the most amazingly healthy and delicious fruit parfait for breakfast made the way you like it and a wide selection of coffee to choose from.She has the most interesting stories about animals in the general area.This is our first Airbnb stay and we couldn't have hoped for a better start. The Sterling Suite was absolutely beautiful. The price for this room does not compare to what is offered. Huge bathroom, nice kitchen and dining room, loft bedroom. Aside from the room itself, the view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking and the stars at night are incredible. You can see every last star the sky has to offer. If I ever find myself back on the West Coast, I will definitely be staying at the Sierra Mountain Lodge again and will most certainly recommend this location to any and everybody that is headed towards the Sierra Mountains.

Loved honeymooning here! Two-story suite with a front window view out onto those gorgeous mountains shown in Brenda's photo. Spacious bedroom and bathroom and comfortable access to the deck--wish we'd spent more time sipping coffee there. Didn't realize just how amazing the home-cooked breakfast would be every morning. John and Brenda and their kids made us feel at home. The whole lodge is testament to the family's labor of love: they spent six years fixing it up while living out of the lobby, and have been operating it ever since. Their love for Yosemite is clear: they gave great suggestions for excursions within reasonable distance of their inn, and a binder in every room is full of brochures and guides to their favorite places in the park. While we ate breakfast, we met friendly folks from around the world, and we saw John play "park ranger" for a guest--a young child who'd been hunting for frogs on the premises and found a snakeskin. Brenda was easily accessible by Airbnb messaging prior to the trip. We also forgot a small piece of luggage in our room and they were kind enough to ship it to us when we returned home.

Absolutely lovely. Book here. A hidden gem near Yosemite NP. Jessica and her husband welcomed us even in the late night, and I made a reservation on the check-in day but there was no delay at all. Jesssica did an amazing job in communicating, keep asking if we need something. It's quite remote that means own vehicle is recommended, though the flat is awesome - super comfy beds feel like cloud, overally clean and tidy rooms, perfectly equipped kitchen ever, cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We were so sad that we had only 1night there. I have no idea why there's no much reviews about here.

This historic property is a place for friends and family. Porches and patios offer additional spaces for retreat. The house features two bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and an attached bathroom. The other bedroom has a full size bed and a single bed with a trundle bed. Great kitchen/dinning area connected to the living room. The basement den, which is accessed from the exterior of the house has a full bed. Two singles in the charming small cottage; no electricity in the cottage.

This special home and its outbuildings are some of the very few structures that survived the 1961 Harlow Fire; one of the fastest moving wildfires in US history. After the fire, the proprietor moved to the basement room so displaced neighbors could move into his home. This property was also once a small antique museum. Students from a local schoolhouse would come to the property for their annual field days; they would picnic at the bbq house, which is now the Garden Cottage. Today there are many reminders of this rich history, from the tools and artifacts located around the property to the burn marks on the old bus stop by the road. There are lovely views and many wonderful old oak trees throughout the grounds. So many places to sit and enjoy nature or make memories with friends and loved ones.

We are conveniently located on Hwy 49, just minutes from Oakhurst, Bass Lake, Sierra National Forest, and the South Entrance of Yosemite National Park. From our home you can also drive to Yosemite and enter the park from Hwy 140 and go directly to Yosemite Valley or stop in the quaint town of Mariposa on your way to the park. We recommend you take both routes while you are staying here.

Kristy's space was charming and a perfect place to come back to after a long day's hike in Yosemite (it's about a 1-1.5 hour drive to the valley). My favorite part was the view of the sky at night--absolutely stunning!

This is an excellent place to stay with extended family or a group of friends who are planning a trip to Yosemite national Park. Nice big open floor plan with a great cooking kitchen. But lots of little nooks and private areas to escape the group bustle. The house and surrounding property is quaint and picturesque, with multiple spaces for outdoor dining or lounging. Kristy was a spectacular host - gave amazing suggestions on exploring Yosemite Park and was great at communicating throughout the trip. The location was fairly easy to get to, although easy to miss on the main road the first time around. The house itself was cozy, clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils which was very helpful! It is a bit of a drive to the main entrance of Yosemite park however, about 1.5 hours for us, but overall would highly recommend.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by freshly baked blueberry muffins and sweet playful kittens roaming around the exterior of the house. The house is located in a quiet rural town where you can get a peaceful night's rest. The home has rustic decor and great open communal spaces for family activities. Mike's place was a fantastic base from which to explore all that the region had to offer. Being only a twenty minute drive to the Southern entrance to Yosemite, meant that we could enjoy the national park easily. Mike gave great recommendations on what to see and do in the area. His local knowledge of less 'touristy' spots was particularly helpful. Mike's home was spacious and peaceful. He had made the effort to put beautiful flowers everywhere which made his place very welcoming. We loved watching the hummingbirds coming to feed everyday whilst sitting outside having breakfast. Communication with Mike was easy as he was so friendly. All in all we had a superb stay!

We didn't meet Mike in person, but he was easy to communicate with and checking-in was easy. There were fruits and lovely flowers when we arrived. The house itself is exactly as described; spacious, clean, well equipped and cozy. The distance to Yosemite National Park is easy and there are lots of information provided in the house. Highly recommended! We would stay there again!

Welcome to the Birdhouse. A wonderful and funky space created by our family over the generations for all to enjoy. The house sits under shady old oak trees in the middle of our family cattle ranch along side the Fresno river. Wake up in the glassed in porches with beautiful views, coffee on the morning patio as the wild turkeys and hummingbirds feed, take a short five minute stroll down an old country dirt road through the cattle fields to your own private sandy beach on the Fresno river. Pass the warm summer afternoons swimming in the river. Say hello to our family cows and horses as they graze about the land. Explore the mountains , canyons, mines, springs and rock formations amidst this stunningly beautiful landscape. Enjoy the evening air lounging in the hammocks under the oak trees. The game table with Jenga, board games, cards and dominoes is ready for some good family competition. BBQ dinner on the patio or cook in the well equipped kitchen. Finish the day bathing in the outdoor tub under the beautiful night sky. The house is fun and spacious and imperfect and has brought our family so many wonderful memories over the generations. The Southgate to Yosemite is a 25 minute drive along the beautiful cedar tree lined highway 41. This is the most dramatic entrance into the park via Tunnel View. The topography is an Oak Wood Savannah at 2000 feet elevation amidst the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. A very rural setting.

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda's in the Garden Suite while visiting Yosemite National Park for a winter weekend. The space itself is clean and beautiful, and the surrounding area is scenic and peaceful -- the perfect place to stake out for a getaway!! Located near the Southern entrance to the park, Brenda's makes a good home base for setting out and exploring. She was responsive and incredible thoughtful -- baring with us through logistical difficulties with our arrival due to icy roads. Will definitely be back & highly recommend! Thanks, Brenda!

I Loved my stay here! The place was so cozy and warm. It was bigger than I expected. I loved how the master overlooked the living room. The temperature was perfect and we had plenty of blankets. In the morning I took my time to enjoy the property. It is very quiet and peaceful and adorably decorated. The place felt like a perfect getaway to enjoy nature and a comfortable place to stay. Brenda was also very fast with online communication in response to my questions and late checkin. THANK YOU for this experience! Note: this location is about 25 minutes from the south gate of yosemite, however 1.5 hours from yosemite valley(where the famous attractions like half-dome, el capitan). I didn't realize how big yosemite is, although we didn't mind the drive because it takes you through beautiful yosemite and a cute town called Mariposa.

My home is just 30 minutes to the South gate of Yosemite National Park (Yosemite Valley is an additional 45+ minutes) You’ll love my home because of the beautiful quiet mountain location right on the golf course. The master is huge with a comfortable King bed, LED TV, in room coffee, 24 Mpbs Wi-Fi, full private bathroom and much more. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment are just 5 minutes away My goal is a 5 star experience at a great rate, with me as your host. 2 adults only please.

Look no further! If you find this place available, just BOOK IT. We loved our stay. Jeff is the perfect host and your quintessential California cool dude (who just happens to run a sweet Airbnb spot with his 3 adorable feline friends). 1. Booking / coordination: Booking was a breeze, and Jeff was very responsive & communicative. 2. Location: Pretty nice. If you can't get a place within Yosemite, Jeff's is just 30 minutes from the park gates. 6-10 minutes from shops and restaurants. 3. Arrival: Jeff waited for us despite our relatively late arrival. We ordered take-out from a nearby diner (took forever) and when we arrived, Jeff + kitties(!) cheerfully welcomed us. After a grand tour of the room, we sat down for a quick dinner and delightful conversation with the gracious host. 4. Bedroom: Spacious! Well-ventilated, clean, comfy. The bed is exceedingly comfortable - hard to get up in the morning! Very soft sheets, fluffy pillows. You will definitely sleep quite well. It has a sliding door + screen that leads onto the screened patio. 5. En suite private bathroom: Spotless! Big! Well-stocked with towels of different sizes and a variety of shampoos, soaps and lotions. Good shower water pressure, and the shower area has a stability bar. 6. Miscellaneous (in room): Good wi-fi connection; cable TV with wide selection of channels; coffee-maker w/everything you need for a good cup of java; small fridge with cold bottles of water; has a neighborhood guide for restaurants, etc. 7. Common areas: Also very clean, well-lit, good vibe, kitchen, 2 indoor dining areas, screened patio overlooking the golf course with dining / seating area and hot tub. 8. Jeff will make you a yummy breakfast. My husband and I heartily munched on our ham+egg+cheese ciabatta sandwiches, while sipping coffee and enjoying the view. We invited Jeff to join us, and he again graced us with his sparkling personality. Thanks for the great stay, Jeff!

Our Home is located 5 miles from Oakhurst and 18.5 miles from Mariposa. We are right in the middle of two of the three entrances to Yosemite National Park. We call it the loop ! We encourage guest's to start from our home on Highway 49 towards Oakhurst (Hwy 41) or Mariposa (Hwy 140) and make "The Loop !" into and out of Yosemite National Park. We have spectacular views ! Great to come home to after a busy day of sight seeing! We have a very comfortable home for you to enjoy.

The home is easy to access. We are located on Highway 49. Yes ! The historical 49'er trail, the Golden Chain Highway. There is ample parking. When arriving, we are the first drive way on the right, right after Fox Hollow if you are coming from Oakhurt. From Mariposa we are right across the road from a red barn with green trim. We have a very comfortable, kick back and enjoy atmosphere. Our goal is that you feel at home and want to come back.

Our home is perfect for those who want to enjoy the area. Yosemite is quite breathtaking and Mariposa is very historical. Oakhurt has charm. They are both worth visiting ! There are a few Bed and Breakfast close to us. We also have neighbors that live year round, we want to respect them. We feel like our Home is a perfect opportunity to enjoy it all !

We wanted a rustic country cabin and that’s what we got. So I have to give it four stars. There were some issues and if I had paid more attention to the pictures or asked more questions, I might have avoided them. So some of this may be my own fault. I didn’t realize it was on a dirt road. It was hard climbing the steep dirt road, my car slid back initially but I learned to take a run at it and we were okay after that. I had confirmed that there was a bedroom/bath on the ground floor but didn’t realize the bath on that level only had a tub and not a shower. Still, we managed to make it work. The views of the foothills are nice, the deck is wonderful, goes all the way around, the llamas are fun to watch, especially when the neighbor comes over to feed them. It is only half hour to the south entrance at Yosemite, but about an hour and a half from Yosemite village and most of the tourist spots. We had planned to go to Yosemite three days, but only went in one day because it turned out to be such a long drive. It is close to Oakhurst and lots of grocery and restaurant options. Bass Lake is close for boating. So there are other things to do and just hanging out on the great deck and playing games is great too.

We loved everything about the cabin! It was very spacious for our big family. It was stocked with the necessary essentials. We will definitely be staying here again. The times I messaged Bill and Sue they were quick to respond. We drove into Yosemite twice, about 1 1/2 hr away. The drive was amazing. But coming back to the cabin was great! We would turn the wood stove on to warm ourselves up. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. There was also plenty of blankets and towels. The kids loved the llamas and the tire swing outside. The cabin has a rustic feel which made our stay more authentic and fun! Thanks again. Can't wait to book our next spring trip! Bill and Sue's cabin was perfect for our two-family thanksgiving. It pulls of cozy while having more than enough room for eight. Our three kids 10 to 12 had a wonderful time in and around the house. In warmer weather, I imagine we'd spend a ton of time on the back porch with its beautiful view across the valley -- even in late November it was sunny and comfortable several hours a day. Trips to Yosemite Valley were a ways, but the drive was beautiful, with some nice places to stop and hike on the way to break it up. Glacier Point is probably even more accessible when the road's open.

The Cabin was as described, beautiful location on a hill.... It's very cozy and welcoming...the cabin is roomy and has everything you need.. The heater and fireplace warm the place up in no time :) We drove up to Yosemite fish camp (about 30 minutes) and to the ski and snow area (about 50 minutes) and had great snow adventures with the kids..... Lots of stuff to discover...... The dining table was great for 8 of us and we had a memorable , amazing time over New Years! Thank YOU

Beautiful, clean apartment in a great location. Close to supermarkets and Restaurants- by car within 3 - 5 mins with. Yosemite - Valley is reached in about an hour ride. For us a super starting point, if you do not want to camp. Jeanne was an excellent hostess! Brochures, maps, etc. are available at the apartment. Likewise restaurant recommendations.

We had such a great experience at Jeanne's place. The room was very spacious and clean with a huge and comfortable bed. The area was very quiet and we felt so relaxed during our getaway. Jeanne provided us with snacks and water, which was very sweet of her! We wish we could have stayed longer, but I would definitely stay at Jeanne's place again when I come back to visit the Yosemite in the future :)

Although a bit far from the park entrance, Jeanne's room is perfect to visit Yosemite and surrounding area. The bedroom and bathroom are very nice and in addition, strong point, completely independent of the rest of the house. No breakfast but tea / coffee / chocolate and cereal bars available !! I highly recommend this guest!
