I would recommend staying here for 2-3 days. We stayed 2 and it was just enough time to explore and keep it moving. Very quiet town. Not much going on. The home was exactly as described.

This is a truly remarkable place to unwind and relax. We explored the island and are so glad we chose Eleuthera over Harbour Island. The people are extremely friendly, including James and his wife Tasha. We had a blast fishing and getting conch on his boat. We slept with the doors open most nights, although the bugs were still out feasting. For those we can't unplug, we had cell service at the house on BTC with $10/day roaming rates on ATT and Verizon. Not that you should be on your phone at all at this house!

The Tree House is a wonderful open space, and feels much like...a treehouse for adventurous adults! Scott was very easy to get a hold of, and answered all of my questions promptly. His caretaker, James Munroe went well above and beyond his duties and made sure we were well cared for. He took us out snorkeling, line fishing, conching, and crawfish hunting - which in Bahamian is actually LARGE spiny lobsters! The space itself is wonderful, and you cannot beat the view. There is an endless view of the "flats" which you can walk along forever as it is clear, shallow water as far as the eye can see. The town of Current is a bit secluded, all the way on the North end of the island - and a car is a must. We organized that through Scott, who made it very easy. As far as amenities, there is an ice maker(!), electric stove, toaster, coffee pot, coffee grinder, and I believe I spied a popcorn maker too. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower. Hot water is hard to come by - there is a water heater with a very limited reservoir. We happened to be there during an unseasonable cold front - and would have appreciated more hot water - but I imagine during the rest of the very warm and humid year it is not a big deal. We had a wonderful time at the Tree House - it felt more like glamping (glamorous camping) as the lack of amenities such as TV and wifi really allowed us to connect with each other and the community. If that is what you are looking for, then this is the perfect spot for you. I highly recommend the Tree House to anyone wanting to visit the Land of Freedom!

Very nice house, very nice place. In absence of the owner, James is there to welcome you. Well placed to spend the day in Spanish Well and / or Harbor Island. The feet in water. Fully equipped.

This is the perfect spot for anyone who truly wants to get away. The home was beautiful and right on the water. Far enough away from the larger areas (which are still quite tiny on Eleuretha) so the stars at night are so beautifully visible. We left the doors open at night with the bug nets on the bed and fell asleep to the tide washing over the rocks. I'll come back to this exact spot again. From the location and quaintness of the home to my experiences with meeting Scott and James it was the most easy going on enjoyable vacation. A few things you should know before you go. Bring a flashlight (it is pitch black at night, I used the flashlight to bring stuff in at night from the car and during a low tide I walked the sandbar and looked at jelly fish and crabs in the water), your own warm blanket (as there where only sheets), towels , and pack coffee and whatever you put in your coffee in your checked bag ( its really expensive and not very fresh, there is a French press and a coffee maker -bring the filters for the tiny coffee maker), and prepare yourself for cold showers (there is a water heater but it lasts for only five seconds). This is a perfect get away for anyone who doesn't want the typical tourist experience. You will not be dissatisfied unless your idea of a vacation is crowds and wifi.

I stayed at the Treehouse for three days and was absolutely thrilled with the design, aesthetics, simplicity and beauty. I prefer a place with character and the Treehouse serves that up well. I was there with a co-worker and friend, we each had a room and it felt very private but also open, airy and cool. Scott was easy to communicate with and put us in very good hands with James, a dear man who took us out on a tour of the cut, where we grabbed conch for bait, fished, walked on the water and learned about Current, a special place where I hope to return soon. Overall I'd highly recommend this house- The couple who left before us, gave an excellent description. We didn't want to leave!

The tree house is a spectacular setting and a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle. It is basic, remote and relaxing. The challenge for us was the food available on the island. Very limited options for fresh produce. The sites of north Eleuthera are not the reason to go. The remote beaches are great. We enjoyed the experience but with the high winds the fisherman were not out so the food options were really limited. The house itself was great.

The treehouse is great for a few nights! Make sure to head out onto the boat with James! You won't regret it! There's a grocery store and a liquor store past the Rubis (sp)! It's possible to get fresh fish at any of the local docs, however make sure you're there between 3:30-5:00p.m. otherwise they head home for dinner and you'll miss em! Eleuthera is a beautiful island, but it's definitely more residential and remote! Make sure to visit Queen's Bath and the Pink Sand Beaches!

Tina, is a beautiful and gentle mother, daughter pretty polite, son helped us a lot of busy, every day we wash the clothes stacked neatly gets here, the house clean and quiet, very nice layout, Tina empty Pick-up time is always us, if at work, others will arrange pick-up, took us to eat local food, travel arrangements to us, we are here to spend a pleasant time for five days, thanks Tina! If you come to Nassau, on come here!

My host made my husband and I feel welcome she greeted us with so much love and respect. The neighborhood was beautiful quite and peaceful. Tina has an amazing personality and loving heart. We advice anyone that's visiting the Bahamas to go to Rustic Charm Private Suite you will have an amazing experience.

Tina is truly a super host! We got lost coming from the airport and she came and got us on her lunch break from work! She was always checking in to make sure that we had everything that we needed! She also brought us some homemade bread that was delicious!! She can also recommend good authentic food around the area! The room is very clean, the wifi works great, and the air condition kept the room comfortable! We had a great relaxing week in Nassau and cannot thank Tina enough for her hospitality!

Clean and comfortable! I liked having the key left so we could arrive when we needed to. Being close to the airport helped in our early departure. Needed to drive to restaurant but we had a car so no problem. Recommended.

Tina's place is amazing! And Tina herself is a great, friendly and welcoming hostess. After I arrived with an overpriced taxi from the airport (its 10 min from the airport), Tina offered to drive me to town to get some things, and she arranged someone to drive me to the airport the morning I left for less than a third I paid for the taxi! The suite itself is, truly charming, tastefully designed, clean. There were rose petals on the bed when I arrived, there was a fact bottle waiting on the bed with 2 glasses. I was extremely impressed with everything. Totally recommend this place for a single traveler or a couple.

We spent 4 days in Brenda apt and it was amazing. Brenda was very nice and friendly. She helped us with everything we needed (she picked us from the airport, she brought us some medications we needed, she offered to bring us to the airport when we left). The place is a piece of paradise with a private beach right in front. We highly recommend her place for a nice and relaxing vacation.

Brenda was a fabulous host! She went above and beyond anything we ever expected. I had a medical issue upon landing, and she picked us up at the airport, drove me to a doctor, and then drove us around to pick up prescriptions, go to the grocery store and take us back to the apartment. She also took us back to the airport at the end of the week. Could not have asked for a better host!! The apartment was great as well. Perfect for our needs. A garden level 1 bedroom with a newly renovated feel. Enough dishes and accessories to cook with, and a huge shower! Also, most importantly, only a very short walk (even without shoes on) to the beach. The beach was very private, as not many tourists get up this way. Getting around was not difficult either. We did not rent a car, but took the buses. The buses (12b or 10s) pick you up anywhere along the road (even right at the house) and drop you off there as well. They go right to downtown, and only cost 1.50-2.00 each. They run early morning to about 7PM. We took a taxi one time, and it was about $25 one way. Don't let the taxis at the hotels fool you and try to get $40 bucks out of you one way. Overall a great host, great apartment, and a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this spot! The apartment is a VERY short walk from a beautiful beach. The bus is very convenient and a car was not necessary for us. Brenda went above and beyond as a host- picking us up at the airport and taking us to get groceries.

Brenda is a wonderful host very kind and helpfull for our first time with Airbnb that was a blessing. She picked us up from the airport and take us to the airport at the end again. She took us to the supermarket "Super Value Grocery" next day. Very calm and beautifull place "Love Estate" and an awesome and private beach at 30 seconds only (good for kids). The house is clean and confortable with all we needed . Brenda was very warm and help us to organize our excursions. Our kids Jonah (3 years old) really appreciated brenda .... he often talks about her. I will definitely recommend Brenda to anyone traveling to Bahamas and we could have stayed much longer but we will go back as soon as possible.

The place and the hosts are fantastic! The beautiful beach is located just behind the backyard and the appartment was very clean and cute. Some restaurants and shops are located a short walk from the appartment. It's very easy to catch a bus to get around the island. Brenda was very helpful and even gave us a tour around the island! Brenda's place was great - exactly as described and very clean. The beach is a few steps from the apartment and only 10 minutes from the Nassau airport and in a very safe and gated community. We arrived later in the evening and left very early in the morning, so we did not get a chance to see the local area, but Brenda provided us with fruit, bagels and a ride to the airport in the morning. It was a great experience...thanks Brenda!

For anyone looking for an affordable stay outside of the tourist area Brenda's apartment is a perfect location. My girlfriend and I were a little worried about using Air BnB but this trip eased all of our concerns. Brenda as a host was amazing! As everyone else has stated she picked us up from the airport (as well as dropped us off) and took us shopping for groceries when we arrived. She gave us a wealth of information about the area including restaurants, public transportation and general info about downtown. She was always available for questions, gave us a heads up about the weather (when the best days for the beach versus tourist things were) and even checked in via email to make sure we didn't need anything. The apartment itself was immaculate and perfect for my girlfriend and I including dishes and pots/pans for cooking and eating. There were plenty of sheets, towels and even travel size shampoo and body wash in case you forgot which we thought was a nice touch. The wifi was fast and when we did watch tv the channel selection was just like the options we have in the US. As for the surrounding area there were maybe five people on the beach for the majority of our stay so it was very quiet and enjoyable. We were there during a cold front and still had an amazing time on the beach and managed to get a lot of sun. We walked to down to both Compass Point and Nirvana (down the beach) to eat lunch and dinner while we were there. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. We also enjoyed Aquafire (across from Compass Point) on our last day (best meal we had the entire vacation). The location is a short walk to the street/bus stop area so we had no issues getting public transportation. We felt extremely safe walking around and even on grounds. Brenda drove us into town one night and gave us a rundown of everything in the area (fish fry, the local college, best areas to hang out and shop). Taking a taxi to/from downtown can be pricey but that seems to be the case everywhere we went so we alternated between bus and taxi. The views from the property and the areas around were great! We talked to locals at restaurants/bars we visited and felt very at home around the area. I can't imagine a better host than Brenda. From beginning to end she made our trip amazing. We will definitely be back to see her again and are recommending friends stay here as well.

Clean, bright, breezy, spacious, comfortable, peaceful, perfect. Lucia is very thoughtful, providing everything we needed, lots of homey touches and more. Well equipped kitchen, drinking water supply, even a loaf of homemade bread waiting for us in the freezer! The patio is the perfect place to curl up and read if it's too windy for the beach. The whole space has been well thought out and executed. Great communication, too. Can't say enough good things about Lucia and her place.

Lucia was a fabulous host for our week on Spanish Wells. Villa Anna provided exactly the kind of comfortable, simple living we were hoping for. All the appliances work perfectly, there's comfortable seating inside and out and a good sense of privacy. Lucia lives downstairs, and is very easily contacted if you have any problems or need any advice. There's cable TV in the bedroom if you feel like staying in. The best thing, of course, is that the lovely beach is only a couple of minutes' stroll away! If you're planning a trip to Spanish Wells, this is your place!

Lucia picked me up at the water taxi in her golf cart which is the most widely used transportation on the island. On the way home she gave me the nickel tour, which is all I needed since the island is only as big as a nickel. The property was exactly how it was advertised, and Lucia obviously went through a lot of trouble to make it feel like home...and she succeeded!! Those cushions are now blue, and I spent untold hours lying on them feeling the Bahamian sun on my body, watching the clouds go by. It was a lovely property and Lucia gave me all the space I needed, but I always felt that she was around if I needed anything..She offered her bike, and that was my mode of transportation, that and my feet. The neighborhood was quiet, clean, friendly neighbors, one block from the most beautiful, pristine beach. Most days I had the ocean and the beach to myself, quite a gift, and turn around from the chaos of south Florida. Lucia is great, and I can't wait to go back. Thanks Lucia...

Wow where do I start? Our stay with Lucia was amazing!! The photos really don't do it justice, her place is so perfectly charming with every amenity you could ever want. Its only a 5 minute walk (a block maybe?) to a gorgeous beach, 5 minute walk to ice cream. Lucia has bikes that you can use and we definitely took advantage of that, the grocery store and everything else on Spanish Wells is totally accessible by bike. She also picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry took us for groceries and gave lots of advice for things to do/places to go. Because there is a full and well appointed kitchen, we were able to cook most of our own meals. Pro Tip: check the refrigerator and cupboard before you go to the grocery store, you may find things already there that you need. Also the apartment has REALLY great AC which we fully appreciated. We really loved Lucia, her adorable apartment, her cute kitties and sweet dog Bear. We look forward to a return visit.

I don't know what to add to all these great reviews...! So, not surprisingly, our stay at Lucia's was wonderful! She arranged for transportation from the airport, the apartment is beautiful and cosy and has everything you need (she leaves water coffee/tea, bread and a few grocery items in the fridge for your arrival) the deck is great for eating outside or just sunbathe if the beach is too windy... Speaking of wind the beach (which is amazingly beautiful) is great for kiteboarding :) We felt so relaxed! Lucia is very easy to reach and super attentive to your needs, yet she will leave you as much privacy as you want. Oh and she gives the best massages! I can't recommend this place enough!

Tyrone picked us up at the airport and showed us the sites on the way to the apartment. The apartment was well located on Paradise Island just 10 minutes walk from Atlantis, Cabbage beach, the One and Only resort with a surprise Versailles garden, and ferry to downtown Nassau. The apartment was well equipped including wifi and flat screen TV. Tyrone checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. We really enjoyed our 10 day stay.

The location of this apartment was perfect. It was a short stroll to Atlantis resort, Cabbage beach and the ferry port. The apartment itself was wonderful. Tyrone and Corinna had provided us with croissants, cut fruit and bottled water for when we arrived. They had also organised transportation to and from the airport with a shuttle company. There is a guide book and many pamphlets available for perusal so you can choose what to do during your stay. Tyrone was only a phonecall away, which was very handy if we had any problems. A wonderful experience, thank you!

Corinna and Tyrone were very welcoming hosts, from the driver they organized to pick us up from the airport to the welcome cookies. Tyrone followed up with us twice to make sure we have everything we need and he took great care in providing all pertinent information to make our stay happy and safe. We loved the apartment. Very comfortable and pretty as pictured. Wifi worked well and the location close to the Atlantis is very good. Would definitely come back and recommend Corinna and Tayrone's beautiful place.

Best AirBNB experience we have had. The villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. It is far enough away from the resorts that you feel you can relax in peace, but still close enough (7 min walk) that you can enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer. Tyrone and Corinna are fantastic hosts. They organised our transfers from the airport and provided us with some fresh fruit and bottled water on our arrival. They gave us a lot of very helpful information. I highly recommend staying in their villa.

Gillian was a wonderful host. Her unit was perfect for our stay, and offered the privacy that we greatly desired. We really enjoyed spending mornings relaxing on her cozy porch. The beach is a short 10-15 minute walk away and is also wonderful.

Gillian was an excellent host. When we booked the room she sent a comprehensive email about the accommodations, the neighborhood, getting around, and nearby attractions and dining options. As our date of arrival approached she checked in with us and was very responsive to last minute coordination emails. Once we arrived, the room was exactly as described and the freshly ground coffee and organic cream provided were the icing on the cake for a couple of coffee drinkers. One important note for first-time visitors to Nassau/New Providence: While the bus service can be very convenient during the day, getting to most attractions/self-guided beach excursions/ evening dinner plans/etc would be VASTLY improved with a car rental. If you take more than two taxis per day (an easy threshold to meet given the bus ends service at 6 PM), you may as well rent a car and enjoy some added freedom.

Gillian was a wonderful host! We felt blessed to stay in such a artsy-cute and safe environment! I HIGHLY recommend staying there. The neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous and just a short stroll down the road we found our favorite little bar Nirvana on Love Beach...Stunning sunsets!!! To sum it up, I can't wait to visit again. We had a wonderful stay at Gillian's place! The studio had everything we needed for us and our one year daughter. It is spacious, clean, and conveniently located. The airport is about a 5 minute drive and there is a nice grocery store a 10 minute walk or a short drive away. There is private access across the street to get to the water. Gillian was so helpful during our stay. We decided to rent a car after we arrived so we could get around easier with our daughter. Gillian gave us a ride to the airport to pick up the rental car and even found a car seat for us to borrow. She also gave us great recommendations around the area. She definitely went above and beyond as a host!

I had a wonderful stay at Gillian's place on the island. I arrived from a business trip and was looking for a nice quite and relaxing place and I absolutely found it. Gillian is a wonderful person and a kind and helpful host. I felt very welcome with her, her kids and her lovely animals. I even fell in love with one of her sweet little cats. I appreciated that Gillian is from the island and knows where to go and how to get there. She helped me with all kind of information and even invited me to dinner and booked a cab on my departure. The communication with her before, during and after my stay was very easy and kind. The studio is nice, cozy and clean and is located in a quite housing area. I loved the near beach access across the street for early morning swimming. I spent two afternoons at Love beach which is a 20 mins walk. On my last day I took the bus to Nassau and experienced the town. Travelling by bus is feasible, but needs some flexibility as the busses do not run on schedule. I walked a lot and appreciated that shops an beaches were quite near. The people on the island are very open, friendly and always happy to help. It is also good to know that the island needs to import the goods, so especially food at shops and restaurants is in a higher price range. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and even though it was just for few days it felt longer. I hope I will be able to come again and would definitely stay at Gillian's again.

My boyfriend and I had a very comfortable stay at Gillian's home. The king bed was highly inviting with its silky soft linens and the private bathroom was en suite. We especially loved interacting with the many animals Gillian and her family had rescued in the outdoor patio area.

Gillian provides the true Bahamian experience, with the access to the western side of the island which is quiet and quaint… And close to incredible beach access as well as basic amenities and some of the most presentable shops and stores on the island. You feel like family when you get a chance to live local. If you want to know what it's like to live the life on the island, come to stay at Gillian's place!

Gillian was a great host all around! She provided very detailed instructions on how to get to her place a week before our trip. When our flight was delayed out of DC, we got there later at night, and she left us some pizza because the grocery store had closed. That was super sweet and appreciated. The place itself was just as described, if not better. It was really private and the patio and grill were perfect additions. Also, the bed is extremely large and comfortable! Overall, she was really hospitable, flexible, and a great resource for recommendations of where to go and what to do in Nassau. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

We absolutely loved this comfortable house, the view and the breeze from the ocean. It is very private, you don't hear guests in the lower unit. During our visit the ocean was pretty rough so we had to rent a car to drive to protected beaches. There's a beautiful and nearly empty beach 3 min drive away that is perfect for swimming.

The place was incredible and Anna (Ariel's mom) was super responsive and available to help out however she could. She gave us great advice on where to checkout and even arranged for our taxi and rental car. Would definitely stay here again! Also, the view from the front door is breathtaking!

My partner and I stayed at the beautiful Ocean Sunrise for 7 nights and boy oh boy was it a treat! Prior to arriving Ann was extremely helpful in providing information about the area to help us plan our stay, and also useful contacts for while we were on the island. The house was clean and tidy and had all of the facilities you would require for any stay from 3 days to 6 months (exactly what we needed after 2 months of back packing and staying in hostels!). Throughout out stay Ann was in close contact and was available if we had any queries. For our first airbnb experience it was extremely pleasant and care free and we can't wait to return! This was my first time in exumas and it was a great experience. The place was vey comfortable and the AC works great (very big deal in such humid weather). Ariel was a great communicator and was extremely helpful! I hope I can find time to go back one day; I will be booking another stay with Ariel if I do.

Ann made our stay at Ocean Sunrise Villa a very comfortable and hassle-free vacation, although she doesn't live on Exuma she checked in frequently with us to see how our stay was going and helped out a several times when we needed local info. She provides a cell phone that can have minutes loaded at one of the many boxes on the island, very helpful for travelers that do not purchase international cell packages. In addition, there is a land line in the house for making local calls. Prior to our arrival, we inquired about a cooler as we were planning some sightseeing in the rental call and when we arrived the cooler was there waiting for us. Ann was very accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a great vacation! The house is very nice with a deck that has a breathtaking view right on the ocean, a perfect home away from home for the week! I would highly recommend their property instead of a resort as a more personalized vacation!

Ann was the best Airbnb host I've had. She was extremely attentive, responsive and communicative. We had an 18 night stay and she stayed in close contact with us throughout. All photos and descriptions on the site were completely consistent with our experience. The full kitchen was well equipped and we prepared most meals. She was very helpful with advice about rental car companies ahead of time. The space was very comfortable for a long term stay, with easy walking access to local sandy beaches within a few minutes. Swimming was possible most days at those sandy beaches. The location is stunning and dramatic! However, don't expect to swim at this specific location in the winter months - crashing waves and quite windy. We were not able to find any place to rent kayaks and we exhausted all resources looking. The location really requires a rental car if you want to explore at all and you will need to do shopping in Georgetown, a considerable drive away(URL HIDDEN)

Ruvania's place was exactly as shown. Tidy, clean and nicely decorated. Jacqueline had her nephew Shannon pick me up at the airport. He was there when I stepped out of arrivals with a big friendly smile. Jackie showed me around and explained everything to me. She even provides phone to get in touch with them ! This is a good central location on the island and only 10 mins from downtown Nassau. Nice residential neighbourhood. Thanks so much Jackie and thanks to Shannon for the running around to far off corners of the island.

Clean and had whatever you would need. They tried to anticipate what you would want/ need. Very accessible if you had questions. Hostess was wonderful. Bahama food is quite expensive, though.

Jackie was so helpful showing us around and answering our questions ! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if we ever came back. The bus stop is only a few blocks away which made transportation easy.

I really didn't have much interaction with the host other than the initial meet and greet although that was purely by circumstance -because we didn't need anything we've been to Nassau before so we had friends to take us around. Everything they said was there was provided. They had 2 cold bottles of water awaiting our arrival. There was tea and coffee and an extra gallon of water, fresh oranges and apples -all complimentary. I was very comfortable! Everything was clean and fresh. I loved the style of everything from the wall pictures to the room accents. The pictures are exactly as the room appears down to the bed spread. I was extremely happy with my stay and that bed - oh that bed is uber comfortable!

Jackie was great and our stay exceed 5 starts! The studio was clean, well light, quite, and affordable. She even let use checkout later because of a late flight home. Will definitely stay their again BUT I do advise everyone to get a rental it will be worth it in the end!

Ruvania made me feel safe and welcomed. However, there were those awkward moments when I would open the front door and the house cat was sitting there. I'm not a pet lover therefore, every time I opened the door and the cat was there it would startle me.

We had a great stay in Nassau. The apartment is very modern and clean and the neighbourhood is quiet. You can take the bus to Nassau Downtown/Paradise Island after a few minutes walking from the apartment. Ruvania and her mom were great hosts - thanks for having us :)

The host mother picked us up from the airport for a fee, which made it easy to get the keys and locate the place but it would have been nice to do that as a favor since we ended up paying for her meal. Just common courted but it put a bad taste in our mouths right off the bat. i would recommend this place to others but next trip I would prefer to just stay in a hotel. First experience with Airbnb but haven't decided if I would use again. Thanks.

We spent six weeks at the guest part of Susan and Ricardos duplex and enjoyed it very much. Because we had to prepone our stay because of US visa issues, Susan and Ricardo even offered us to stay at their side of the house for a couple of days so we could arrive earlier than planned - great flexibility and hospitality!!! Our friends with their three year old girl joined us for the last two weeks and our hosts even arranged for a baby seat for the car (which was extremely helpful to have), toys and other things for the little guest. They showed us how to extract the conch (bahamian sea snail) from its shell and prepare our own conch salad, prepared a traditional dish, baked artisan style bread, tought us how to open a fresh coconut... I could go on endlessly. In a few words: Wonderful hosts! The house is big enough for six people with good media (TV-lots of channels incl. music, Wifi- surprisingly stable and fast for an island location). The screened porch (= no mosquitos) and the garden are very nice, but "nothing" next to the closeby (and other) beaches...GORGIOUS. Fortune Beach is only a few minutes by car (or a little longer by foot) and don't miss Banana Bay Beach Bar just a little further east at the same beach. Our drive to the West End was fun, you can check out some spots along the way (Boiling Hole, Conch fishermen, Snorkling at Deadmans Reef !sandflies! etc.). East End isn't worth the drive in our opinion, but there are beautiful and secluded beaches on the way east (check out Lucayan National Park - caves, mangroves and nice beach !sandflies!). If you want to cook your own meals, you can choose between a couple of supermarkets (Solomons, Butlers, Save-a-lot) but keep in mind that food is rather expensive on the Island compared to the US, so plan a few extra dollars (US$ are accepted everywhere). Gasoline was around 4,90 US$/gallon in January 2013. For our longterm travel budget there were not that many places of interest besides the numerous beaches- but those are pristine and you can walk for miles and miles, Lucaya Marketplace, Lucayan National Park (5 US$) and Deadmans Reef (3 US$). If you are visiting the Bahamas during New Year, be sure not to miss the Junkanoo parade. If you enjoy spending time at beautiful beaches -you will be alone most of the time- with clean white sand and turquoise water and warm weather this is the place to go and Susan and Ricardos house is the place to stay!

Susan and Ricardo, you guys are the best! It will be hard for another airbnb to too this. Me and my friends stayed at Ricardo and Susan's place for 5 nights. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything, and I mean everything. The pictures doesn't do the place justice. It is huge. Their daughter also came to visit them and is around me and my friends age and she tooks us to many local spots a lot of tourists don't know about. If you have any doubts don't. The reviews dont lie! It was lovely staying at your place!

Susan and Ricardo were very friendly and great hosts. We were 14 days in this apartment. It was a perfect place to relax for two weeks. We had everything that we needed . The car,the mobile phone and the maps was wonderful to have. They helped us always, when we had a question. The fortune beach and " banana bay" were amazing and the location is perfect. We did a lot of things and after a daytrip it felt like coming home oooh we love this island ...we will never forget this magical place thank u for al(URL HIDDEN)

Very accommodating and spacious. Ricardo picked us up at the port and gave us a mini-tour of the island. They are fantastic hosts. They had great wifi so we could keep tabs at home. The car provided was very functional, they provided a phone for while on the island so we could book excursions. The beach at Banana Bay (a 3 minute drive) was fabulous!! The restaurant had great food. Overall, great, relaxing experience. Great things to see and do on the island. We felt "back in time" without all of the hustle and bustle. Great place to stay, great hosts, and fabulous things to see!!

It was our 5th time in The Grand Bahama Island when we participated in our Dolphin-Assisted CranioSacral Therapy program as therapists. However, for the 1st time we rented a condo instead of staying in a hotel, which made our stay there even more amazing and unforgettable. The condo is clean, comfortable and one feels like at home. The kitchen has more equipment than a housewife could imagine. :) We had some problems with the toilette, but our host immediately took care of it. Thank you. The mattress of the master bedroom's bed is not so comfortable. Coral Beach is only a minute walk from the unit: postcard-perfect turquoise water and white sand. Port Lucaya is 2,2 km-walk (about 20 minutes) on the beach. As the condo has only one bathroom, I highly recommend it to close friends and family.

We had the best stay at Derek's place. It was clean, spacious and very close to the quiet, beautiful beach. The apartment had everything we needed and more! The beds were very comfy and we enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. This place is awesome, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing vacation, close to the most beautiful beach!

Derek's unit is exactly as described, minutes from the beach, well stocked with plenty of amenities, clean and private. I had a great time while there and would love to stay again the next time I'm in Freeport!

We were a party of three and although we booked our stay on short notice, I received the confirmation very quickly and in addition all the information we needed to find our way to the condo and how everything works around there. The apartment was very clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need and more. The beautiful beach is a mere two minute walk away! We hope to come back some day (soon).

Very nice condo close to beautiful beach and beach bar. Condo was clean, well stocked with all the appliances you may need to cook but we did very little of that, preferring to eat at the beach bar and at the very nice restaurants at the Lucaya market. Transportation to and from Freeport and the market was relatively easy with a bus stop very close to condo. Will definitely use this condo again. Location was perfect. Very quiet and safe neighborhood, great condo and great host.

Our family had a great stay at Safi Sana for 12 days. The view out the front toward the ocean was absolutely the best - we very much loved sitting out on the deck. The adorable house worked great for us and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and it was nice to be able to buy groceries for meals instead of having to eat out all the time. We had lunch on the deck a few times when we weren't at the beach or somewhere else. Bruce was a wonderful and gracious host. He was most accommodating and helped us with any questions that we had. A rental car helped us easily get to where we needed to go during our stay. We would definitely recommend this place and want to come back to stay again.

The outdoor spaces are spectacular, as is the living room which can be opened up on all sides to let the breeze flow through. Lovely grounds, porches and view of the ocean. You will want a car or need to hire a taxi, as the house is not near any activities, but we used taxis to get around and it was cheaper than a rental car for the four of us. The kitchen and baths are very rustic, as are the bedrooms. Communicating with Bruce was very easy, though you definitely have the place to yourselves. A very nice experience overall.

The listing was very accurate, the villa was exceptional and the view was amazing. Bruce arranged temporary passes for the Sailing Club (at no cost to us), which was very kind of him. The experience was great. He was always on hand if we had any queries about anything with the house. I would definitely recommend the Safi Sana and hope to stay there again.

Bruce was a truly wonderful host! He emailed several great tips regarding car rentals, directions to his property, and grocery stores in the area before we even left for Nassau. When we arrived at Safi Sana, the home was clean and inviting. The house has a beautifully open layout to let in the light and ocean breeze! Extremely relaxing and very comfortable. You have a gorgeous view of the ocean--beautiful to see every time you wake up! Bruce had all the comforts of home and more ready for our use! The kitchen was stocked with water, spices, and any appliances we needed for cooking or cleaning. The washer and dryer were ready to use and stocked with detergent as well. Bathrooms had plentiful towels and soaps. Bedrooms had comfortable sheets, roomy closets with hangers for use, and even a full-length mirror. We used the grill on the picturesque deck many times throughout the week! When problems crept up, Bruce was always available to answer our questions and work with us to fix the issues. We were able to enjoy our time in Nassau without worry! We were even able to spend the morning of our last day snorkeling because Bruce adjusted our check out time. We LOVED staying at Safi Sana and getting to know Bruce! If you want a relaxing vacation in Nassau, stay here! Wonderful price and wonderful experience! We would definitely stay here on a return trip and highly recommend Safi Sana to anyone looking for a great experience in the Bahamas.

Great stay for our 6 day trip to Freeport. Florian picked us up at the airport, showed us around the place. There were a few issues with the rental car that took a couple days to figure out, but Florian and his wife dropped us off until we got one. A car is a must on the island! The neighborhood is lovely, I walked around to get pics of the great vegetation. Thanks!

The place is quiet, clean, and big. Huge backyard. The hosts are super chill and kind people. One evening Florian even invited us to a drink and some salad. It was really interesting talking to Florian and what brought him to the Bahamas. We loved staying here and would stay again, if we ever make it back to the Bahamas.

We spent 3 nights in Florian's highly recommendatory accommodation and probably felt great from the first minute! From collection through his mother, his support in a rental car (a must!) And his tips for exploring the island everything was right! The room itself and the outside area are great. Everything clean and tidy plus we had it virtually to ourselves (due Although sunny but quite windy weather, we have a lot of time spent there). The pool is really huge, something fresh, but more courageous than me class. The whole family took a lot of consideration, but we have to make the evening sat down together for a chat. It was a wonderful experience Airbnb, Florian and his wife are super nice and I can only recommend to stay there when he comes to the relaxed island Grand Bahama! Merci beaucoup, Florian!

So many wonderful things to say about Flo and Chrissie! They were incredibly warm and accommodating, and gave us all of the tools necessary to have a smooth trip. They picked us up and dropped us at the port, gave us a great tour of the island, and informed us of the best beaches and restaurants around. They even let us rent their car last minute when we realized how big the island was and that cabs weren't going to cut it. The room itself was perfectly clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. It had its own entrance off of the back porch where we ate breakfast and enjoyed their beautiful yard. It was truly a wonderful experience staying here and without a doubt I'd love to come back. Couldn't have asked for a better room or better hosts!

We had a really wonderful week at Florian and Chrissie in the Bahamas, my best ever experience with Airbnb ever !! From arrival to departure everything was perfect! Florian picked us up from the airport and was very friendly and personable, we felt right at home! In the afternoon there was an island tour and a lot of important information for us, no question remained open and Chrissie and Florian could really help us with any questions! The studio and grounds were just great, the studio is even bigger than it looks in the photos, in fact! Everything is tasteful and cozy, very clean and had everything you need (and actually a lot more like a huge whirlpool tub)! The bed is huge and very comfortable! Just as described on the website! Pool and gardens are great, the pool is huge and you can really relax there because it is in a very quiet area! The hospitality of the family is simply unmatched, we immediately felt very comfortable and welcome! Especially nice is that we were able to get a glimpse of the culture Bahamas was! I can really recommend the hotel to anyone and I myself would come back any time !! :-)

Florian and his family were warm amazing hosts on this laid back island. Great conversation and accommodating in so many ways that made our short trip both relaxing and exciting. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, plus a beautiful and large back yard as described, great for sitting outside and absorbing the great weather. This place was perfect! Just a short walk away from everything fish fry, the Tiki bikini on the beach. We loved our stay Gillz was the best host he showed us around all the best places when we got to his place. He also went as far as to put together a book of local eats for foodies with menu recommendations and all. This place is great if you really want to relax and enjoy the Bahamas the right way. The AC worked perfectly the room had a ceiling fan mini fridge microwave and a smart TV with features not even available in the USA. Everything seemed brand new from the bed to the bathroom and shower. You even have your own private gated entrance and it's safe to walk at night. What can I say Gillz was a great host and we had the time of our lives I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I plan to be back for another visit soon.

One word : perfect. Literally fall in love with the island and the Bahamians ! Gillz is a great guy, always here when we needed him & with the smile . His place is really clean, with AC, and you actually get your own little room with a different entrance. The location is perfect , Junkanoo beach, down town, bay st and fish fry are at walking distance ! No negative point at all during our stay ! We know where to go when we come back ...

I plan to visit Bahamas a few more times this year and will definitely be booking with Gillz if rooms are available. Communication was 100%, the room was fresh and just what I needed...very quick walk to Junkanoo beach and downtown to explore and shop. The mini fridge and microwave were nice to keep my leftovers from a few dinners I went to. I felt very safe here too, I'm a 29 year old female staying alone and didn't once feel worried!

Thank you so much Gillz for a great trip. Gillz Picked me up from the station aPickedd drove me around the town to help me get my bearings which was great of him considering I had a late flight. I had a busy itinerary as was in town for a wedding but I know he would have been happy to assist me if I'd been in town longer. The place is walking distance to town, the main docks, the bus station and the fish fry and a beach. A great place if you want somewhere central and are planning lots of activities. The bed was comfortable, ac/shower in good working order with a fridge and microwave.

Everything was described as in the profil. The room was nice and it was great that a fridge was provided. It was also great that Gillz made a folder with stuff to do and places to eat around the island.

We were only in Nassau for a one night transit on our way to Providenciales but we had a fantastic time staying at Gillz place! He and his wife are both so lovely and helpful, were able to pick us up and drop us to the airport, and their place was perfect! It was clean and spacious, comfortable bed and in a great location - near Junkanoo beach and town. We were very lucky to have been there for there Junkanoo festival for our one night! We only wish we stayed longer! Thanks again Gillz and Melissa we hope to be back again soon!

Gillz is a really nice guy. He will introduce the cities and the restaurant. The airport pickup service is very convenient. The room is clean, and the location is just a few minutes to the local seafood, beach and downtown. The price is fair, and we enjoy our stay.

Perfect place for R&R! The beaches are breathtakingly beautiful and the Treasure House is tucked away so it almost feels like you have your own private resort. There's plenty to do nearby if you choose - paddle boarding, kayaking, day trip excursions to see the famous swimming pigs - but doing nothing is just as enjoyable. Fabulous pool and crystal clear waters for swimming. The resort staff was very helpful and includes daily maid service. HBO is a nice added touch since there wasn't much of a night life scene. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around the island. We had an amazing week in Treasure Cay and will definitely be back!!

The Island is beautiful, quit and real good to relax and come in a different mode. The location of the apartment is really beautiful, looking out over the white beach and blue shaded ocean, less than 20 meters from the apartment. The pictures are showing reality. The apartment is great, lots of space, and everything you need. Except for the bathrooms, as they are outdated and really small, other than that, perfect.

Location, location, location, this elevated property ticks all the boxes and some if you are looking for sea views by the beach. The property is comfortable with good living space, the shared pool and sun loungers are more than enough for the number of properties. The local supermarket/restaurants/bars are a 15-20 minute walk away or golf carts are easily hired if you prefer. Treasure House 10 could do with a bit of a freshen up but this does not detract from the experience of living in such a wonderful location.

Thank you, Stephen, for providing a wonderful vacation opportunity for us. We had a great time at the location and got what we were looking for - we were right on the beach, the place was quiet (also due to the fact that there were no ACs running at this time of the year) and low key environment. The view from the veranda is wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped. The only thing I would add are salt and pepper or basic condiments. Not an essential, just nice to have. The BBQ downstairs was a great surprise for us and we used it almost every night. :-)

Steven was extremely helpful answering all our questions quickly before we arrived. Slight apprehension about spending nearly 3 weeks at Treasure House, soon disappeared when we arrived. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the property itself far exceeded our expectations - for a family of 4 it was perfect, larger than we expected and it had everything we needed. The photographs just don't do either the property or it's surrounding justice. Although our stay was towards the end of the season, Steven was right about August being one of the best months to visit. We virtually had the pool and beach to ourselves and both were the best we have ever experienced (and we are tour operators so travel pretty extensively!). We wanted somewhere to relax, have family time and live barefoot while still having really good wifi to be able to keep up with work and this was perfect. Treasure House is simply breathtaking!

Nice house in a 12 houses with pool and directly on the beautiful beach. It lies just outside of Treasure Cay, therefore I recommend necessarily be something a golf car ($ 40 / day for long lets ;-). Check in and out at Frontdesk Reception / of Treasure Cay Marina and Beach Resort is very flexible and helpful. Nice contact, good facilities, clean and well maintained. System overall still relatively new and well maintained to our time Nov2016 almost nothing going on, had the pool and beach to ourselves. The Treasure Cay Beach is just great, as beautiful as the Maldives only much larger but otherwise we did not disturb a bit of seaweed which is for photos may not be perfect. Küschneausstattung was good, air conditioning is not disruptive and WiFi really stable and fast. The view from the balcony is simply amazing! We will come back ...

We enjoyed staying at Stephan's place over the Christmas break. It was very quiet and virtually no one in the pool or the beach. There is easy access to the nearby grocery store and bakery. We suggest cooking your own food since all 3 restaurants fare is highly processed. We had two excellent meals at the beach club right outside the gates of the resort. Anytime of year you travel here will be quiet, as the beach is virtually undeveloped. Renting a golf cart or bicycles is a must, as it is a 20 minute walk to the main resort area. Bring a flashlight as we had 2 black outs (on Christmas Day) which we enjoyed as you could see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Reverse osmosis water is available at the tipsy seagull bar, so bring some gallon jugs there. Highly recommended for people that want a quiet vacation. The octagon house is very comfortable and has plenty of space for 4 people.

Thank you Stephen and Avis for a truly amazing holiday with our 3 and 6 year olds. We loved the gorgeous beach, pool and clean, comfortable accomodation. We were very glad we rented a car to get around and get to great snorkelling spots and catch the ferry to Hope Town for a day. Treasure Cay is breath taking and we will definitely be back soon!

Great experience. Very quiet and private home. Enjoyed the down time away from the tourist part of the city which was only a 10-15 minutes drive away if we wanted to experience the crowds. This is a house that the owners have take really good care of and feels like a home. The kitchen was well stocked with salt and spices so it never felt like checking into a hotel which is exactly the experience we were looking for. Great view and pool to hang out. Chris was fantastic and easily available when we needed him.

Amazing host - very nice, welcoming and service minded. The house is as pretty as described. We loved it. The neighborhood was great, too. Close to everything, yet away from the touristy parts.

First, the location is spectacular: relatively private, close to local food and fabulous view. Could hardly be beat. The house itself is quite nice: well appointed (beautiful artwork) and comfortable, and the deck with the private pool cannot be overestimated -- it is the focal point of the home and where we spent most of our time. As a host, Chris was about perfect. He greeted us at the door and spent just the right amount of time showing us through without being invasive, and was available and responsive throughout. Overall, I think it would be hard to find a better listing on the island.

As promised Chris provided a beautiful home, a tremendously courteous and helpful demeanor and above all a stunning view. We found ourselves lost in conversation while sitting out on the deck taking in the spectacular sights. Here was a really small hiccup at the beginning of the trip that Chris took care of as soon as we brought it to his attention. That's the sign of a great host and an even better person. We appreciated the fact that he was able to be helpful whenever asked but also not intrusive in our day to day experiences. It really was a great time. The only regret was that we didn't have a chance to stay longer. Thank you again and we hope to see you and your home again soon.

The house was actually as advertised and Chris was super helpful in giving us the lay of the land, places to eat, spots to make sure to check out. And to be honest, you'll spend all your time in that pool and backyard. Overall, great vibe, house is well kept and the experience was really solid.

We were old college friends reuniting for a long weekend of relaxation and exploring Nassau, where we'd never been before. The house served as a great base for accessing the island. It's about twenty/twenty-five minutes from downtown Nassau and the busier beaches, but closer to the less touristy areas, which our group preferred. The neighborhood is a nice mix of tourists and locals, and there are several restaurants-- and rival conch shacks!-- within walking distance. The closest beach is Love Beach, which is a 15-20 minute walk or a short drive. (Enter through the "Nirvana Love Beach" driveway, and park in the lot). It's a real local spot-- not fancy, just beautiful. The other highlight was the private pool. We spent most evenings grilling on the porch, lounging in the water, and enjoying the sunset. If you want an alternative to the resort scene, away from the crowds, this is your place.

Chris communicates very quickly and was there to walks us through things as we arrived. The place was very clean and has an excellent view to see the ocean from your balcony. The house is within walking distance of some great restaurants- check out Aquafire for dinner and Compass Point for breakfast. We also enjoyed Love beach which was a short 3 minute bus ride. Make plans if you are looking to get to Downtown or Paradise Island as taxis can be expensive and the trip can be long. If you are going downtown the bus will get you there no problem, but it will cost you coming back after dark. We really enjoyed the porch and pool areas and spent some nice and quiet evenings there. Our only complaint was about power outages. We experienced them 3 out of the 4 nights we booked. We were told that it would be expected to have a generator in the neighborhood the home is in. Chris did inform us once we got into the home, but not prior to booking. Overall this is a beautiful place to stay, we really enjoyed this house and would recommend it to any family or group traveling to Nassau.

Omg finding this place was a blessing. After arriving friday and deciding not to stay at our originally booked home we found this one. Lamont was very accomodating on such short notice. The house is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Thanks to the previous renters who left the vodka. We put it to great use i didnt want to leave but duty calls. I went to Nassau for business. There was a conference I attended at the Atlantis which was really just a 5min walk from the apartment. I did not get to spend much time at the apartment but it has everything you need and is very close to the beach. Lamont was so kind to also get me from the airport - he is a cab driver also - which was really convenient. Thanks again for everything and all the best.

This was absolutely a wonderful experience! The unit had everything we needed and it is in walking distance from the beach, which made things a lot easier for us. The host was great and extremely helpful! He answered all our questions quickly and he told us about all the great things we could do at the island! He even gave us a phone that we could use so we could easily get a hold of him. If we come back to Bahamas, we would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful condo with a pool feet away from the front door, and a few minutes walk from the beach, a small grocery store and Atlantis...great spot! Lamont is the BOMB!! He brought us to the Fish Fry after he picked us up at the airport to try some tropical conch salad and sky juice - Lots of laughs and good conversation! I also made last minute reservations for the day after we arrived to fly to Staniel Cay. Lamont had us covered getting back to the airport early the next morning, gave us a bunch of recommendations of things to do, and picked us up that afternoon waiting to hear how our day went. We highly recommend Lamont and staying at the Bahamas Stopover Units - Thank you Lamont!!!

Wow! Lamont was a fantastic host. On our way from the airport to the unit, he showed us various places we could go and things we could do. He had so many suggestions and recommendations. He also gave us a phone to use to communicate with him throughout the trip. He was punctual every time we needed a ride, and we had so much fun. We hope to stay with Lamont again in the future!

William was a great host. Although we did not use any of his amendities I was impressed by with his set up. He has bikes and car rental and also you had access to his taxi driver. The only issue I had with the place was the bed, however that's a minor issue considering the cleanliness of the space and the location. I would definitely stay with William again.

The place is in a calm spot of the residential area of the island, 20 minutes walking from the beach on the north (Sanders Beach). The description of the place is accurate so are the pictures. The place is very nice and well maintained, perfectly accommodates one or even 2 people. William is a very helpful and pleasant host. I highly recommend this place!

William is a super host, one of my favourite hosts definitely. He is super-duper sweet, easy to communicate and informative. You can get a ride to almost everywhere from him with $25fee and he'd like to help you anytime. I can tell he runs this airbnb business with heart, because he prepares anything you may need during travel. Car rental, bicycle rental, prepaid phone......you can find the printed rules in the house, they are to remind and make sure all tenants follow the rules and enjoy the trip. I booked the room with a shared bathroom and kitchen in the first two days and a private room after. The private room is very nice with your own entrance, clean kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for solo traveller or couples. For location wise, the bus stop is just 2min away. You can easily wave your hard to stop a bus at any point. It takes about 15min to downtown where you can explore the tourist area. Also, the Atlantis island is one of the must-go place. 10min drive way from downtown, 20-25min drive way from William's place. There is a gas station with a convenient store is just 4min walk way. There is a cafe shop inside, their food are tasty if you don't have time for a meal and just want to grab a fast food to go. People are extremely friendly in Nassau. Everyone said hi to me and asked if I need help from them. I had trouble with finding William's place in the first night, a boy helped me with his motorcycle.That was very warmhearted. They made me feel I was in my country but not a foreign. All in all, Nassau impressed me by its passion. To live in William's place is a good choice I made. Highly recommend it to all travellers. Wish you can enjoy Bahamas like I do.

William was a great host who picked us up from the bus station, offered to show us around and was just always available when we needed him. We had a great time!

Very nice and clean.

The room is a great little private suite. We spent most of our time out and about in Nassau, but the room was fantastic for winding down at the end of the day. It was very clean, the AC worked great, the bathroom was nice, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The location is about 2.5 miles from downtown and is easily accessible by the bus (note: while the bus system in Nassau is great, the buses do stop running around 6:30pm). William was a great host. He provided us with a useful guide for the room and the island. He also let us borrow a prepaid cellphone (you can refill it at the nearby gas station. A few bucks goes a long ways). I would definitely stay here again.

Staying at Marcel's place was a great decision! I can just sum up all the good things that were already said in other reviews. :) You have a house for your own with everything you might need and Marcel lives in the house next door in case you need him. He's a very kind and helpful person and as we were travelling for a while, it was a big plus that we could do our laundry (incl. dryer) in his house. Everything you want to explore is in walking distance and the supermarkets, which are a bit further away, are very easy to reach by bus. We can absolutely recommend Marcel's Kozy Krib!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Kozy Krib and Marcel was a wonderful Host. Everything was just as described on the website. Kozy Krib will be my home away from home whenever in Nassau. It was conveniently located and not far from Fish Fry. Marcel offered to arrange for pickup at the airport but I had already made plans to rent a car. I will definitely stay at Kozy Krib again. Thanks Marcel for helping to make our stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kozy Krib. Everything was perfect: - very nice apartment (clean, neatly organized, modern equipment etc.) - perfect location, close to all major locations ( beaches, restaurants, downtown etc.) - very nice host - perfect communication ( responds very quickly, very helpful if questions occur) All in all it was a great experience. This place is highly recommended!!!

Marcel is a wonderful host. The unit was well equipped and clean. The Kozy Krib is a short walk to the main street for bus transportation. We were very comfortable and never felt unsafe. The Bahamian people are so friendly. We will definitely be back next year.

The Kozy Krib was very cute, comfortable, very clean and all amenities were working and very easy to use! Very close to the Fish Fry, Botanical Gardens, Zoo and Junkanoo Beach all within easy walking distance. Taking the bus to the Straw Market was quite easy as well! The neighborhood was quiet and everybody we met was soooo nice! All-in-all it was wonderful and we had a great time! And as promised, Marcel left us beer and water in the fridge! Thank you, Marcel!

We received such a warm welcome from Marcel and his little doggie, Pretty :) The house has everything you would need and was absolutely spotless. A short walk to all the fish fry's, botanical gardens, Fort Charlotte - even downtown is within walking distance, but the bus stop is nearby if you don't feel like walking. If you're looking for an authentic experience away from the touristy hotels and vendors - this is the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We felt in the pretty and spacious apartment of Marcel very well. Marcel was a great host who made us happy to answer all our questions, gave us advice and tips for our stay and was always easily accessible for us. We felt very welcome and had the accommodation everything we needed and more. All sights in Nassau was within walking distance in smaller to larger walks or very easy with the cheap bus. We recommend Kozy Krib like heart on!
