Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin in the woods. Creekside Cabin was originally built in the 1860's and in the 1980's it was carefully rebuilt with an addition. It is located just 2 miles from Nashville, Indiana and 4 miles from Brown County State Park. After a day of adventure, head back to our cozy Creekside Cabin for relaxation in the hot tub and s'mores by the fire pit. As of July 2023, Creekside is cabin is under new ownership with some great updates! Pet fee, $75/one dog

It was originally owned by the Helm's of Helmsburg, IN and has been completely renovated from the exterior walls inward during 2019. Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. Take a ride on the paddle boat and throw your fishing line in to catch catfish, bluegill, and large mouth bass. Eleven acres of trails make for a nice nature walk. In the cold , you can enjoy coffee by the fireplace that's in the large room we call, The Sanctuary.

Your home away from home is in a quiet rural neighborhood where you are just minutes from shopping, restaurants, art galleries, music venues and all kinds of outdoor activities. The owner lives full time in the upper level with her service dog Jessie but you will probably never see her unless they are out in the yard playing fetch or working in the garden.

The large kitchen is open to a large family room. You can lounge in comfort or sit on the back deck and watch the wildlife. Newly remodeled in 2019 it is a sight to see. You will be making plans for your next visit.
