Our charming townhouse from the 19th century is in the heart of the Middle Franconian small town of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz right next to the historic Wenzelschloss. It combines old sandstone walls with an urban lifestyle. In the immediate walking distance is the city center with good shopping, top restaurants and cafes. In about 25 minutes you can reach the city center of Nuremberg, the airport or the Nuremberg fairgrounds. The hiking paradise of Franconian Switzerland is also not too far away.

In Winkelhaid there are two supermarkets, one of them with a baker and butcher, so nothing stands in the way of self-catering.

The Schwarzach Gorge (top Bavaria excursion destination) can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Nuremberg is about 15 km and 20 minutes away by car. You need about 30 - 45 minutes to get to Franconian Switzerland with many destinations. Enjoy your stay in this spacious, secluded and quiet accommodation.

Your time off: short trip to the countryside, weekend house

Whether for a weekend or the whole week: Here you can escape and unwind from city life. In the garden you can fully relax, linger and enjoy: There is a sauna for the winter and a heated pool in the summer (23 degrees). Bike tours, hikes or just a cozy day in the garden - everything is right "in front of your nose." I'm happy to help you choose hiking, running or cycling tours. A car is required to get there. Public transport is rather difficult
