Ann was a wonderful host and offered me a warm welcome. The room was just as she described it, and the energy in her home was great. The location was great: a nice walk to cool restaurants and cafes, and walking a bit further got me to downtown Decatur. Ann offered me coffee in the morning, and was a delightful person to have conversation with. The town had a power outage while I was there, and Ann was very proactive in communicating with me about it, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend it!

Ann is a very nice host. I lived in here for about 20 days, and on my first morning, she gave me a ride to the MARTA train station. In the weekends, she always gave me a ride to farmer's market or other market. They already prepare everything for you, soap, shampoo, towel, bottle water. Q-tips...

I enjoyed staying at Ann's house. Her family and 2 dogs were great to me. I was in town as an exhibiting artist at a arts festival and was very busy. I did not get to spend much time with Ann, but found her to be a great host. The room is large and comfortable. The house has lots of space and the front porch is a delightful oasis. Thanks Ann.

Ann gave me great directions on how to reach her place using public transportation from the airport. Her house is situated in a nice homey community. She was very gracious and helpful. The room, bed, amenities are great and the posted information helped to serve as reminders. I ordered a taxi to take me back to the train station where I used MARTA to go back to the airport. I highly recommend this listing especially if you love dogs.

Ann was a great host and the place was exactly as described. Their home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with a couple bars and restaurants a short walk away. Her pets are very friendly as well. I will definitely stay with Ann and Bob again if I'm ever in the area again.

We had a great stay with Ann. She has a beautiful home walkable to Oakhurst village and downtown Decatur. We were in town for a wedding and the room worked perfectly for our needs. Ann was very welcoming and her pets were adorable and friendly.

Ann was a wonderful, welcoming host. My boyfriend and I were in town for 4 nights and she was flexible and accommodating at our later-than-expected arrival time on our first night. Her many cats and two dogs were adorable additions to our stay, however if you have a cat allergy you should probably steer clear. The house is funky indeed, with an abundance of cool art and furniture. The room is cozy and spacious, the whole house is beautiful and clean (minus a bit of pet fur), and the kitchen is a great place to hang out with Ann and/or cook or drink tea. Ann provided coffee and tea each morning. The house is in a great, convenient location. ~30 minute drive from the airport, about 5 minutes from downtown Decatur, and ~15 minutes to midtown. I would absolutely stay here again!

Ann was friendly, informative and accommodating, without being intrusive. The room was comfortable, well-furnished, with plenty of space. I was with family during most of my stay, so didn't spend much time with Ann other than to check in and out.

I was in the area for one night to attend a concert at nearby Lakewood Amphitheater and Paul's place was perfect for my needs.

The host family were so friendly and flexible. They made me feel at home. The description of the listing was accurate. The neighboring area was gorgeous, just a few blocks away from Emory Univ. I'd come back to their house if I had to visit Emory again. Thank you, Paul and Scott, for your hospitality!

Paul's home is really lovely and in a fantastic location. The park is straight down the side driveway and a great place for kids or dogs to have a safe place to run.

The apartment was lovely, clean, in order and as in the pictures. Conversion before and during the stay was very good. Excellent location, close to the public transportation and in really nice area with cafes and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Scott was a fabulous host, including be very flexible. I had a red eye in to Atlanta and needed to be get some sleep immediately after landing. I was able to check in at 7 am, no problem. He also gave me some great recommendations and information about the local weekend events. I found the bed to be very comfortable and the kitchen had the basic cookware. This was the perfect place for me to base my weekend activities.

We didn't get off to the best start. When we arrived the 6 digit code we chose to unlock the door did not work. I called Scott and after some deliberating he realised that he had not changed the pin from the previous tenant. The location and the apartment were fantastic and the neighbourhood was lovely. The Marta station and bars and restaurants were all within walking distant which was great. We did feel uncomfortable that Scott turned up twice (that we know of). First of all he came round the day after our sisters wedding when we were hungover and we had takeout food boxes lying around. I felt it was unfair and not a true reflection of how we had been keeping the house. He had text me to inform me he was coming round but I did not get this text as I was asleep and was woken up to him entering the property to water the plants. The second time we were waiting for our laundry to finish and we could see him outside. He had come by to "drop stuff off" to which my brother had asked him not to and wait until we left. I feel disappointed because we paid for the privacy of an apartment and I haven't heard of anyone else ever having to deal with the owner appearing on the door step when staying in an AirBnB. My advice would be that if you do not trust your guests then do not rent out your house. We looked after the house and followed all the rules. As I said - the location was great and the apartment was great but I feel the lack of privacy and trust have lowered the rating we would have given.

Outstanding! We have raved about this rental already to family...and are pleased that we've found our 'spot' for future visits. A most comfortable alternative to the boring hotels, with bonus hospitality by the owners. We've never been left a basket of snacks, large orange juice, and multiple flavors of coffee/(URL HIDDEN) the $200 hotel which also makes us park 9 floors away (for a fee). We didn't have an opportunity to meet the owners, but would have been happy to run into them. From email correspondence the owner was friendly and prompt. We were easily comfortable coming and going at odd hours...a few nights even arriving back quite late. The private 'guest only' entrance was great...making this rental stand-out in our opinion. Location is amazing too. Extremely short drive to the unique areas of Decatur. We didn't walk to 'town', but easily could have from here. This place is as described/advertised. Ample space, comfortable furnishings, historic home, beautiful street. We loved it!

Elizabeth's home was an excellent place to stay for our recent trip to Emory. Easy 10 minute drive to campus. The space itself was clean and charming. Would definitely stay on a return trip to Emory.

We loved the Suite Spot while staying in Decatur! I loved the king-sized, comfortable bed, large, well-stocked bathroom and Elizabeth's yard is just gorgeous in the spring! It was wonderful to open the windows a bit and hear birds singing like mad. Communicating with Elizabeth was fast and easy; she's a delightful host. I will very likely book a stay with her again sometime next 12 months, as my daughter will be a senior at Emory in the fall. Looking forward to staying here again!

While we did not meet our hosts, they left a welcome sign for us on the wall and in the icebox was a sample of local brews, including an ice cold Coca Cola. Rebecca sent us a thoughtful message by text when we left, thanking us for our stay. This place is a completely modern and cozy studio! HGTV inspired. Great use of the overall space. There are many nice architectural touches that make the space feel bright and open. Clean and fresh, no artificial scented air sprays. The shower is generously sized with a large diameter shower head. The water flow and pressure is great, the shower head is installed at a good height for taller people. Hot Water Recommendations: Take showers before washing dishes! Keep your showers short so that there is sufficient hot water for each person using the shower(URL HIDDEN)basket of travel size toiletries is provided. Blow dryer is also on hand. Towels are big and fluffy. Shelves for additional storage behind mirror. The sink basin counter is small yet provides enough space to hold a few personal care items. Toilet is dual flush and tall height. The washer/dryer hold a full size load. An iron, small iron board and laundry soap, provided. The kitchenette contains a compact one basin sink with drain apron, a Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, and hotplate. The sharpest knife I've experienced in an air bnb kitchen made fast work of meal prep. The kitchen is set up for service for two. On hand are mugs, a variety of beverage glasses. Bowls and plates to prepare and serve small meals. Silverware, kitchen utensils, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, kcups, salt/pepper/oil, dish soap provided. The 3/4 size icebox has plenty of freezer space. It took us a bit to figure out the hot plate, which requires a specific pan (provided) in order power up and heat to temperature. The bed is a built in, accessible on one side. Mattress is high quality, although softer than our preference which is a firm to quite firm. Electrical outlets abound in the unit. There is a USB built in to the headboard. There is Generous storage available in the unit, which easily accommodated our trunk load of suitcases, garment bags and coolers. Next door is a professional day care center, with young children happily playing out in the yard. Guest parking is well marked. The back yard view is deep, with old growth trees and serene landscaping. There is a transom window above the studio entrance, and a window with shade at the kitchen counter top which lets in plenty of natural daylight. Air conditioning and dehumidifier operates quietly. Cozy and bright studio, with all of the right touches.

What a fantastic Studio. It comes with everything you need for a great staying: kitchen, refrigerator, laundry machine, sofa, parking, etc. The Studio is quite, relaxing, very well maintained and clean.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here! Clean, private, and perfect. They had everything we could have needed for our stay, as well as suggestions for local things to do. The neighborhood was safe and relatively close to everything we wanted, and having the private entrance was great!

Exactly as pictured, loved it! Super clean, cute, and quiet. Also, REALLY convenient location without being smackdab in the middle of all the noise. 25 minutes to the airport and a really easy drive to everywhere else. The bed and couch were really comfortable, the parking spot is easy to get out of, and overall the place was really nice and had everything I needed and could think of. Honestly, what more could you want?

The home was perfect for our stay, Atlanta can be busy and bustling, and this home was perfectly tucked in a great residential neighborhood, our 2 yr. enjoyed the coloring books and chalk board.

If this place is available, book it now. Everything is well thought out, super clean, and a fantastic value. It's quiet and away from the action but a very short drive into the city. My standards are very high (see other reviews). This place surpassed my expectations. We will stay here again.

After this, our first airbnb experience, our expectations will be ridiculously high. Angie and Tom's house is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood. Your private entrance is in the front. You enter into a living room area artfully appointed with plenty of room and comfortable seating. All the rooms have 9 foot ceilings. The bedroom is bright and inviting with tall windows on three sides and a walk-in closet. A premium quality mattress, fine linens and even though the bedroom is on the street side there was no exterior noise. The bathroom is attractive, well-designed and immaculate. There is a second bedroom/sitting room next to a tiny, but cleverly equipped efficiency kitchen. ( A two burner hotplate, a microwave, toaster oven, a mini-fridge, washer, dryer, coffee maker and sink ) Throughout the house, where needed, there are identifying labels on light switches, drawers .... anything that needs clarification; a clever and appreciated feature. They have given considerable thought to the needs and comfort of their guests and have delivered in every way. Angie and Tom were accessible and responsive when needed, but otherwise invisible. Two genuinely nice people. First-class accommodations and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Christina was wonderfully welcoming and helpful in helping me settle into my 7 week residence at her carriage house . She regularly checked to make sure I had all I needed. she went over and above anything I expected by checking I was able to get home (I had no car for a number of weeks) if the weather was wet or very hot. If I was running low on any household supplies they always were delivered within a day at most. I had a lovely time staying here.

Great place! Extremely clean and accurate to its listing. Raheem was easy to contact and very accommodating.

Studio apartment 208 does not match the actual photos that are shown as advertised! The kitchen was in the same room as the bed, there was no fireplace under the TV, and the bathroom was not large and spacious as pictured!! The bathroom was very tight, and the sink was outside of it, not in the same room. The space was ample and sufficient, very nice, but it was not what was advertised. The hallway outside of the room and the room itself had a funny smell, but nothing too serious or concerning. The location was nice and close to different dining locations, shops, and Emory College. Raheel was difficult to get in touch with after my initial messages when booking, but after a few phone calls and messages we were able to get ahold of him. Other than that he was a fine host. We had difficulty opening the lockbox to get the key, but figured it out and we appreciated the fact that we did not have to check in with anyone bc we arrived around 2 a.m. We had a nice stay in the little apartment and would love to stay in a similar place again.

This establishment was very clean and lives up to the description. The host made sure to keep up with us and extended his help if needed. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to staying at Raheel's again. I recommend this spot to anyone visiting Atlanta.

It was clean

We had a very nice and comfortable two-week stay in this apartment. The unit is in a freshly renovated building so everything in it is practically brand new. The apartment was well equipped and very clean when we checked in. The place is centrally located- near banks, restaurants, goceries, and shopping centers. To top it all, our host, Raheel, was very accommodating and a real nice guy. There wasn't a text from us that he did not respond to right away. He made us feel at ease all throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place to vacationers and travelers like us. We will definitely be back here,

The unit was very clean in a great location. In a safe neighborhood with friendly people to help give directions or suggestions on places to visit. Great for a short stay.

Rachel's place was in a great location and was easily accessible to anything downtown. Reheel provided us with the information needed for parking and getting us into the apartment. The only issues were that there wasn't any toilet tissue in the apartment and we had to go out and buy some. The tub was dirty and there was food left in the microwave and refrigerator. Besides those minor concerns the stay was very nice.

I could hardly connect to internet, and even if I connected, the speed is between single to double digits K/S.

He was very considerate by leaving the key under the mat for me for my conveniences. He also made it possible for me to use the refrigerator and the freezer at my leisure. And the bonus gift of it all he allowed to use the washer and dryer which saved me a lot of time and money. It was a great stay.

Very comfortable neighborhood. Is a gated complex, quiet & safe. Raekwon seemed to be a very nice, polite, young man.

It was great that the place was on the bottom floor. So no stairs to contend with. The room was very spacious and clean. There were ample amount of towels and washcloths provided for my needs. And it had a handicap bathroom for those that needed it. Overall it was a great stay they even let me use the washing machine and dryer.

Super easy to deal with and a great value

Ania and Greg's place is perfect for anyone visiting Atlanta, it was clean, quiet and they provided everything you would need for a short stay or longer. They were very easy to communicate with and even with my late check-in and early check out were very accommodating to my schedule. The suite is better than the pictures and the large deck is perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail and beautifully shaded by the large pecan trees. The location is very easy to get around from and is only a mile or so walk from Decatur square and the Marta or a $5 uber ride. Also there is a nice pub very close to them and a Wal-Mart very close as well for anything you forget to pack. I hope next time I'm in Atlanta I will have the pleasure of staying again

I stayed here for a week while visiting Emory for work. Great location, couldn't be closer to campus. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained, the TV and internet worked without any problems. There is a kitchen with some basic serving ware (plates, cups, silverware), but no cooking utensils. Raheel was very responsive when I had questions. Overall very positive experience, would recommend to anyone who needs to be close to Emory campus.

This place is perfect when visiting Emory University. I just needed a clean place to sleep and shower while visiting my daughter. My husband and I were blessed to stay at Julie's pool house twice during the month of June. It provided us with a peaceful retreat during the last three days of our 2.5 week vacation. Julie is an extraordinary hostess. I highly recommend this rental.

The room is lovely and a perfect location for visiting my daughter at Agnes Scott. I am not a fan of sleeper sofas so I could not stay more than 1 or 2 night's. But if that isn't a deal breaker for you Julie 's place is beautiful!
