  • An absolutely beautiful remote cottage - we had a lovely long weekend here. Dorian was a brilliant host, great communication from the day we booked and one of the lunch recommendations (the Nags Head Pub) in his welcome pack was spot on! Thank you :)

  • The Welsh house if absolutely divine. Set in the most captivating surroundings this stunning house (and wonderful hot tub!) offers true escapism. The log burner was perfect for the winter weather - we were mostly found sat next to it readying books and playing games. No problem with mobile signal - and wonderful not having WiFi! Would absolutely recommend.

Quiet Earth Eco House; A really magical place; Grand Designs Eco home award winner 2008 is a two storey loadbearing straw bale house (first in the UK). A luxurious off grid home, offering a truly sustainable experience in a very beautiful and quiet haven. Situated in St Dogmaels on a hilltop overlooking breathtaking views of Cardigan estuary, close to local beaches and the Pembrokeshire coastal footpath. We look forward to supporting your retreat here and sharing the many gifts of this place.
This straw bale eco retreat home was self built between 2003-05 and generated much attention due to it's unique nature. Please read the full description before booking! It is a beautiful peaceful retreat centre, offering special time to relax in an untouched woodland upon a hill overlooking spectacular views of the Teifi estuary. There are various idyllic beaches within a couple of miles of here and many inspiring walks. We are two miles from the start of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. It is also an off grid home, powered by the sun and the wind and this is one of it's important features, giving one the opportunity to experience living with the elements and being powered by them. Low energy appliances may be used with awareness such as occasional laptops etc. (no hairdryers/ straighteners or heating appliances). The Nature of this place does also invite the visitor to just enjoy being switched off for a while and to experience the gifts of the environment. Downstairs you will find a large open plan kitchen and living room with a wood stove which heats the whole house. There is a downstairs bathroom in a rounded stone turret with sunken bath and rain water harvested toilet. Water is solar heated and back boiler heated in the winter. The house offers a long conservatory to enjoy the stunning estuary views. We have 2 delightful and gentle cats here called Elma and Arthur in the house and then daphne the dog who will be with us in the eco lodge close by. We can arrange at times for the cats to be out of the house and use the conservatory for short periods. If you have serious cat allergies however this may not be for you. Upstairs offers a beautiful and spacious open plan room which offers itself as a luxury bedroom and studio for a couple or a space for family or occasionally a retreat space for a group of up to 8 with low futon style beds. We have also now opened up the large beautiful attic bedroom as an extra room with a double mattress and space for more. This is accessible by ladder. In the warmer months there occasionally is a self contained eco lodge too. The wood fired hot tub will Only be available from early summer at certain discretionary times for long staying guests who can enjoy the ritual of gathering wood, heating the stove and then bathing under the stars. Please note; this takes a good few hours to prepare and so is Not available for short stays due to the sustainable aspect of this centre. The woodland is terraced, with paths for visitors to explore and we are currently developing a forest garden. We also encourage artists and writers in residence to spend time here working in a natural and supportive environment on a project. We can offer subsidy for this also at times. Please note; this is a natural straw bale/ clay built home and we hire a wonderful cleaner to scrub the place...we use no chemicals in the process.. it is perfectly clean in the best eco natural way possible. Yes, there can be spiders and insects around in the summer.. please bear this in mind as a natural part of living close to Nature.
The beauty of this place is all that Nature has to offer along with the gifts of many of the creative people living in the nearby village and surrounding area. There are many circular walks for which we can give directions. We are situated at the beginning of the pembrokeshire coastal path and close to an array of stunning beaches. Our local beaches Poppit and Mwnt have regular sitings of bottle nosed dolphins and seals. Cardigan town is a few miles away along the estuary and offers shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema, spa and a heritage centre. In the heart of the village is a ruined Abbey, a visitors centre and cafe. The village offers a good few pubs along the river, a wonderful deli with homemade produce and cafe. We encourage guests to visit our local produce markets and organic market gardens. Most foods can be bought locally. The gift of this home is that it is secluded in a woodland and yet a walking distance to the village estuary and beaches.
  • We really enjoyed our stay, it was great to get into nature more and take a brake from living in a city. This trip really opened our eyes to a more sustainable way of living, something I am striving towards my self. Lots of land around the house to explore and the wood and log burner kept us warm in the evening. Shop and a pub are walking distance. Thank you

On a family smallholding in beautiful rural Carmarthenshire, the cosy, historic cottage has been lovingly renovated to include underfloor heating, woodburning stove, well equipped 'farmhouse' kitchen, private garden and outdoor electric hot tub for your exclusive use during your stay and a shared games barn. Plenty of family-friendly activities and both coasts are within easy driving range. One well behaved dog welcome, please see dog rules. Please read description and house rules carefully.
The cottage has been carefully renovated using lime, and other sustainable building materials. We have installed high tech heating and hot water that is super eco friendly and reliable. No matter what time of year you stay it will be cosy: as well as underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs, there is an optional woodburner with complimentary starter pack of logs and kindling. The whole cottage is well equipped with a fantastic bespoke 'farmhouse' kitchen including antique Welsh dresser, traditionally oiled Welsh slate worktops, a belfast sink, Neff dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, Bosch fan oven, coffee maker and Miele washing machine. Outside is our fantastic, luxury hot tub, the perfect way to relax and unwind! The hot tub is electric, so ready at the touch of a button and we use 'skin friendlier' bromine to keep it sparkling clean. The tub has been carefully sited on it's own patio area adjacent to the cottage garden, which ensures both easy access for over 16's to the tub and a safe area of garden for young children. The tub takes in the stunning countryside view and during the evening our very dark skies make it a perfect spot for stargazing. Even on a wet night, with the fairy lights on and the soothing jets going it's a perfect way to end your day. We live next door and it's an outdoor hot tub, so it's not completely private, however we feel that the carefully considered landscaping balances guest's privacy and the view from the tub; the vast majority of guests who have used the tub have loved it, we hope you will too. Upstairs the 2 bedrooms have beautiful views, radiators, waxed wooden floors and comfortable beds. The romantic master bedroom has a period fireplace and super comfortable brass bed with luxury wool duvet and feather pillows - we've had lots of guests remark on what a wonderful night's sleep they've enjoyed! The bunk bed room has been carefully planned as a children's space, with a great collection of kids books, and has a built in cupboard with hanging space and drawers and the window has a blackout blind and curtains.. The bathroom upstairs has a bath with Mira thermostatic shower over, with glass shower screen. There is a heated towel radiator and we supply luxury Egyptian cotton towels. Other provisions include TV with Freesat, DVD player and Amazon Fire Stick, BBQ, games barn with table tennis, travel cot (up 10 15kg/can't climb out), highchair (up to 15kg) and a good selection of books, toys, games and collection of DVD's. The skies here are perfect for stargazing as we have very little light pollution. The local roads are very quiet and there are plenty of countryside walks. We actively encourage wildlife, have re-established wildflower meadows and planted over 7000 native trees. As a result we have lots of birds to watch, including Herons, Woodpeckers and Wood Warblers, we frequently see Sparrow Hawks, Red Kites, Buzzards, and visiting Barn Owls, to name but a few! Guests can access the river, at the bottom of the field -which is fun to splash around in, or a great place for a picnic. However if you're quiet you might even spot the Kingfisher? Newcastle Emlyn (9 miles) and St Clears (8 miles) are both within easy reach for shopping and some fantastic restaurants and we sell eggs and "the best meat we've ever eaten", according to some of our guests. If you're a knitter or crocheter, why not treat yourself to some of our luxury 100% alpaca wool too? The cottage is on our small family farm; run on Organic, pesticide free principles, nestled in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside. We raise a variety of traditional & rare breed animals, producing the very finest quality meat. Although the farm feels very tucked away, it is easily accessible. If you would like a 'farm tour' we're happy to show you round and introduce you to some of the farm animals. We offer a whistlestop free tour, or an extended payable tour where you can meet and feed some of our animals. If you would like one of our very popular finest quality and locally sourced food hampers, homemade birthday cake or loaf of organic farmhouse bread, then please ask for details!
For day to day shopping you can't go wrong with Newcastle Emlyn to the north, jam packed with small independant shops and cafes. To the south is St Clears with a supermarket and art centre and we are only a 20 minute drive from Carmarthen. There is plenty to explore nearby; some of our favourite spots include Fynnone woods with it's dramatic waterfall and Tenby, Llansteffan, Laugharne and Llangrannog for their beaches and castles. For those looking for adventure Oakwood adventure park is a short drive away, as are Anna's Zoo and Blue Lagoon water park. For a spot of culture (aside from any of Wales' 600+ castles!) we are within easy reach of the National Botanic Gardens, Dylan Thomas' boat house and the Gwili Valley Steam railway to name but a few. For food enthusiasts Caws Cenarth cheese factory and tasting room is not to be missed and we have some award winning restaurants within a short drive.
  • This little cottage was a great find. Claire and Oly were awesome hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make our weekend anyway a special one!

  • A lovely place remote , rural location, peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was well equiped and cosy. The main bed was so very comfartable it's worthy of a special mention!!! Claire & Oli were there when we needed them but not intrusive, they kept in touch to make sure everything was okay - perfect hosts!

    Clare2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful cosy space, all the little touches made our stay even more special. Thank you Claire and Oli!

    Karissa2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Claire and Oli’s cottage was absolutely beautiful. It was sparkling clean and so so cosy. Claire was always on hand when we had questions and recommended some great places for us to visit, including Ffynone Waterfall, which was so picturesque. We went on the farm tour with Oli. It was great! Oli was really knowledgable and it was interesting to hear about their journey with the farm. We would absolutely recommend staying here. The cottage was super peaceful, the hot tub was great, and not too far from some of the bigger towns. We’d even go as far to say it was our favourite Airbnb stay. Thank you Claire and Oli ☺️

  • Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. It was sparkling clean with lovely touches. We had an amazing time.

    Kasia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Superb - this is a real gem, and not just because it's very cosy, picturesque and run by two friendly hosts. It's also one of the most environmentally conscious BnBs I've ever stayed in. Huge efforts have been made to make the house as environmentally friendly as possible and the same goes for the farm and local produce as well. The hot tub and wood burning stove are also great fun. I would strongly recommend staying here if you're passing through Carmarthenshire, particularly if the environment is an issue close to your heart.

    James2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Rural, homely cottage on a small working farm. Easy to find following Claire's directions. Made full use of the log burner and hot tub! Helpful instructions on how to use these are provided. • Lovely people and a gorgeous pod!

    Ffion2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you need for a perfect night away! Lisa was a lovely, friendly host and told us everything we needed to know for our stay. The pod came with everything and more than I expected, she really has thought of everything. The stay definitely exceeded our expectations. The pod heats up very well so we stayed warm throughout the storm and even went into the hot tub regardless of the rain. Had a great night sleep aswell. Me and my partner are definitely going to be staying again the summer❤️

    Correy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice and modern, hot tub was amazing! We enjoyed every minute, would definitely recommend

  • Perfect place to stay. Great hospitality. Sian really goes the extra mile. We loved watching the huge variety of birds outside the window and listening to the river at the bottom of the garden. The house is a real home from home, stocked with everything you could possibly need. We hope we can return again in future.

    Mark2020-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stay! Sian is thoughtful and helpful throughout our journey there. Definitely best for value as well!!!

  • Lovely little place to stay, everything was perfect. Would highly recommend.

    Claire2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is just adorable. We came to celebrate our sons first birthday. He loved the space too. The most beautiful thing to wake up to a view of a rushing river. Everything in this little cottage is so thoughtfully placed. Great bath too! Don't hesitate you'll love it!

    Genevieve2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sian’s cottage is really lovely, the perfect rural retreat. Cute and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches and quirky decor (including some gorgeous traditional welsh blankets!). Log fire, comfy bed, great bath tub, beautiful stream at the bottom of the garden. The stairs to the next floor are steep so take care after a glass of wine :) We would definitely stay again.

    Colse2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • One of my favourite air bnb I’ve stayed in, photos don’t do this places justice was super cosy, and had everything you need. No faults at all would definitely recommend.

  • Loved this place! Cosy, warm with everything you could possibly need! And what a stunning location!

    Rachel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sian's place is really beautiful - the flat is super cosy and wonderfully decorated and it was so lovely to be close to the river and to watch all the birds from the window. The location is gorgeous. The bed was really comfy and it was so nice to wake up in the morning to the beautiful views. We went for a walk through the local area which was lovely - all the moss and old trees. We were really well catered for in the flat - there was everything we needed and more (cooking equipment, games, a TV, bath, etc.). Thanks Sian!

Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue.
You'll be a secluded half mile from the road, sharing the un-made track with the quarryman's cottage next door and some horses. Tegryn village has a pub almost in walking distance (uphill) while Crymych and its shops is four miles. So it's a hideaway from which you can launch expeditions to tour the area - or just hideaway in.
Apart from the country walks on your doorstep, everything's a car ride away: Cardigan is 20 mins and beyond that the Poppit Sands beach. Aberaeron and the honey ice cream shop is 3/4 hour heading towards Aberystwyth and the other way Britain's smallest city of St Davids is an hour. Or just stay home and enjoy the view.
  • Perfect place, amazing we will back for sure..

    Slobodan2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • I spent a month at the cottage in March 2020 during the COVID-19 outbreak! The cottage is in one of the most beautiful locations with stunning views and complete peace and quiet. The cottage is cosy with a plentiful supply of firewood to keep warm. A fantastic place to get away from it all.

    Nathan2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is in a fantastic location. There are far reaching views, and spacious grounds. It is a hidden gem yet withing easy driving distance of lots of lovely beaches.

We offer accommodation within our community on the edge of the stunning Pembrokeshire national park, great for walking, cycling, neolithic history, and beaches. Children are very welcome here as we have an outdoor play area and bushcraft centre onsite and a good community cafe with park, within short walking distance.
We are a child centered, intentional community. The living room/play room, kitchen diner and conservatory are available ON REQUEST only by guests, but you have a private room with microwave, kettle, utensils, crockery, desk, wifi, shared bathroom and outdoor lean to with sofas. We sometimes have an outside fire and the stars at night here are legendary. The long room can sleep up to 5 people with a door to an adjoining double bedroom, perfect for multi generational families, large groups, people who don't want to share the double bed in our other listing or even parents who want a separate sleeping space from the children while being nearby! The space can also sleep 2 infants in travel cots (bring your own) free of charge. We don't want anyone to be disappointed in their experience here so I want to add, that this is a community house that is lived in and used by lots of people daily on a 10 acre smallholding. We think we have prices to reflect that, so please read our reviews and decide for yourself. It is homely not spruce and we plan to update the decor as income streams allow. In the meantime I hope some of you enjoy our company and home.
We are close to the Lammas Eco Village who do tours on Saturdays throughout summer (and delicious organic produce). The area is covered in neolithic burial sites, stone circles and standing stones. We have the most amazing coastal landscape and starry night skys and the Preselli mountains are close by. The Canolfan Hermon village hall does dance classes, yoga, music events with a bar and has an awesome cafe (cegin Bella) with play park with zip line and is a 3 minute walk from our front door. 2 miles away we have a leisure centre with free swimming for kids on a saturday. Half hour away there is Bluestone leisure park with waterpark, Oakwood theme park with rides, Folly farm zoo, Manor park wildlife park.

  • We had a magical stay at Lammas. Hoppi and Tao were so warm and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The space was charming and beautifully put together. We came in the depth of winter in a blustery storm and spent our nights huddled in front of the fire- we loved it but winter months may not be for the faint hearted! The compost toilet is a short wander away from the space. The shower was gorgeously hot and very welcome. We barely left the ecovillage as it was so lovely just being there and exploring the site via various footpaths. Hoppi and Tao gave us freedom to wander around, help ourselves to salad from the polytunnel and socialise with the goats! After stormy nights we were lucky enough to have some beautiful sunshine when the place really comes alive. We are looking forward to returning in the future!

    Darryl-Jo2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Hoppi's place. We felt extremely welcome - Hoppi and Tao were so kind. We were able to pick berries and salad from the smallholding and both hosts were happy to talk to us and answer the many questions we had about living more sustainably. The cabin was beautifully presented and very comfortable for our short stay.

    Jack2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lammas is a magical place. Peaceful beyond words. Hoppi and Tao are more than hosts, they are amazing human beings. Their kindness is exceptional. The Healing Space was very cosy, everything was simple but comfortable. It felt great to disconnect from the real world for a few days.

    Pascale2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hoppi and Tao's place is one of a kind - inspiring and beautiful place to visit. The cabin and shower room is a work of art, as is their small holding. Very comfortable off grid living with everything you need. Comfy beds, fridge and extra little touches. Both Tao and Hoppi were the perfect hosts, so welcoming and friendly and also gave us space to just be. They kindly offered us to pick some of their fresh fruit and vegetables which were amazing! If you are interested in low impact living this is a must visit, would recommend joining in one of the work days to get a good feel for the way of life. Very special visit, thank you Hoppi and Tao, we would love to come again.

    Esmé2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Lammas is a unique experience - there's nothing else like it! And Hoppi's cabin is a lovely place for this - beautifully built and decorated with everything you could need. But it's the surroundings that are the most special thing - abundant nature and quite incredible houses and other structures built by the residents. All-in-all a life-changing experience!

    Paul2019-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Lammas eco village is a peaceful haven in rural west wales. It was so inspiring to see Hoppis one planet living and how people can live well off grid. It is in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the area- both Preseli Hills and coast are close by. It’s a great place to unwind.. and seeing the solstice fire was awesome! Would recommend :)

Our lovely Moor shed is a small groups room which we rent out at peak times. It overlooks the beautiful moor with it's ancient stones+circle. There is a fire pit+seating-so you can have a fire+a feast. You can sit+watch the sunset, it is simply furnished with futons+seating+the small simple private kitchen is close by+you have use of the loo+shower in the back of the Pottery (shared facility) It is a cheaper alternative to the cottages+full of charm! Optional Pottery workshops available...
Our Moor Shed is available as an overflow place to stay when all the cottages are already booked from Easter to end of September... Please note it is not a house... It has a lovely feel and being so close to the wild place of the moor is a wonderful retreat space. It is our cheapest option for one person to come and stay but also ideal for a couple or a maximum of 3 people to stay... Just a few steps from the moorshed is the gate to the moor...you can gather wood and have a fire....and there are benches and other seating for watching the sunset! (Please note the firepit is shared with the other (URL HIDDEN) you may or may not have company!) It has a futon and a couple of foam seat beds - so can sleep 1-2 people or a maximum of 3. It is only suitable for adults or teenagers...not for little ones...but there are other cottages suitable for little ones and the Moorshed is cheaper to stay in than the cottages...for various reasons: The Moor shed has a small and very simple kitchen close by more details below...and also use of the shower and loo in the back of the pottery which is a shared facility. Also our moor shed is used for some storage...We normally use it for singing, meditation etc It has quite a few lanterns and a really welcoming... not a huge space but if people are looking for a cheaper alternative to a cottage and don't mind squashing in this is a possibility! It is also used to store spare duvets...hidden away under the steps so you never need to be cold! The sleeping is on a futon which is fairly firm...which some people like but if you prefer sleeping softer...again you can use an extra duvets under the bedding...There are some electric heaters in the building too... It is a delightful space right next to the moor!
I love the magic of the hills...the wildness of the country...the everchanging colours of the landscape...the stones...skylarks...the beautiful sunsets...the peace and tranquility... I also love making pottery and teaching others how to throw pots on the wheel or make them by hand...
  • We booked the Moorshed for a short break at the end of October. Driving rain and gales didn't stop it from being a snug little stay - its well kitted out with heater and blankets. The area felt remote and peaceful and a great base for exploring the nearby moorland and coast.

  • Beautiful spot right on the moor! Perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire. A lovely get away for those who want to switch off and disconnect. The whole place had a lovely cosy atmosphere. Loo and kitchen are separate but very close by (if you don't mind sharing with the odd spider). Thank you Anna for a lovely stay we would love to come and stay again maybe at another one of your properties.

  • Lovely little hideaway in a beautiful and tranquil place. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

    Kian2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time staying at the Moorshed. The interior is thoughtfully laid out and has a warm and homely feel. The access to the open moor right outside gives an immediate connection to nature, and within the garden areas there is a tranquil feel. I did an hour’s pottery tuition with Anna as an additional activity and really enjoyed that too. With Anna’s patient but relaxed tuition, I was surprised to make three pretty respectable pots! All highly recommended.

The house is very well maintained and clean and great place to relax, eat and plan your trips. Nearby attractions like Folly Farm, Tenby and Saundersfoot beach are approximate 25 - 30 mins away. • I thought the trip would be a nice little break but nothing too memorable. I was wrong and it was magical. Loved every minute, and my husband who usually complains constantly about nature, loved it too.

    Kim2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect! We wanted something cozy and quirky, and this fit this criteria exactly. The host was very accommodating - we were able to add an extra night to our booking quite late, and arrived early but were still able to access the cabin. The hot tub was spot on, and the whole site felt well cared for. A lovely getaway from the real world, with great access to South Wales and the Pembrokeshire coast. 100% would recommend.

The chalet has a smart TV and wifi broadband with Netflix and Amazon TV included. There is no mobile phone reception in Moylegrove but phones can be used through the wifi. There is one master bedroom with king bed and one smaller room with two bunkbeds. Chalet is suitable for two adults and two children. The bunkbeds are adult singles. Breakfast items and cupboard stocks provided for self-catering. Our friendly ducks live outside the chalet. They are very curious and appreciate company!
Moylegrove sits on the remotest coastal part of the Pembrokeshire National Park. The cliffs here are the highest part of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. It's a 20min woodland walk direct from the chalet to the bay. Poppit sands beach is only 2 miles away and Newport sands and links golf course is only 5 miles away. Both beaches can be reached by walking the coastal path at the bay. The area is extremely popular for kayaking and coastal walks. The nearest shopping and eating locations are Newport, St. Dogmaels and Cardigan. Due to its remote location there are no shops or pubs in Moylegrove itself. We have local information in the chalet of places to eat that we recommend.
  • We had a really lovely stay; a beautiful chalet with everything we needed, and a great host. Meeting the ducks was a big highlight too!

  • Fantastic chalet in amazing gardens. Mark had thought of everything in the chalet... we were amazed at the well stocked kitchen! Spotlessly clean and comfortable - so peaceful and relaxing. Really dog friendly - our puppy loved every minute .... especially the river! A little piece of heaven in a beautiful location.

  • This chalet is tucked away in the gardens of a beautiful slice of Pembrokeshire. Marks instructions were clear and helpful. The village is quaint and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The chalet itself was incredibly cozy. It was warm, clean and comfortable. Mark left us a few grocery items which were much appreciated. We had absolutely everything we needed. Our 4 year old loved the ducks, as did we. The hike out to the bay was the perfect way to start our day. We would absolutely stay here again. Our only regret was staying for only one night.

  • A wonderful place which is peaceful, cosy and stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are no less than 3 private seating areas outside, set in remarkable grounds. We are proud to be the first guests to have found the 'hidden treasure' at the ruin on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Walk which runs directly from the cabin. Not for the faint-hearted but breathtaking and we were also lucky to see seals playing in the Witches' Cauldron. We really didn't want to leave and could happily have stayed the month. Thank you!

  • Had a fabulous long weekend. Mark was an exceptional host with perfect instructions describing location and for running the cottage. It’s the first self catering that was a gas cooker and it’s the most trouble free cooking I’ve experienced in an unfamiliar kitchen. Lots of touches that we appreciated. The garden is charmingly landscaped the pictures don’t do it justice. The 20 minute almost totally private walk towards the cove was just what we needed. The property is easy to keep warm and no sign of damp at all. Mark responded to text in a timely manner to any queries we had. Highly recommended.

    Vincent2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Would recommend Marks place!!! Had a lovely couple days and would return in an instant!!

  • A quiet, quirky, and romantic hideaway hidden a magical garden. No need to go into detail—everything was perfect, including a walk through the woods to a beautiful bay and the magnificent Wales Coastal Path. Highly recommended for imaginative souls.

    Christine2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • the chalet is wonderful. the gardens amazing and the house cozy. Lots of kitchen staples (the best so far in Wales). the hike to the coast is beautiful and there are lots of other nearby attractions. it was tempting just to stay on the property and relax.

  • We spent two relaxing and cosy nights at Diana place. We absolutely enjoy our stay everything we needed was provided even much more than our expectations. Very clean place, Wonderful location. Very prompt response and very helpful tips to visit area. Thanks Diana&Graham for your hospitality, Highly recommend.

  • Lovely tranquil peaceful area in the cosy caravan with great hospitality.

    Claire2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tranquility and seclusion - a slice of heaven! I was looking for a quiet place to call my own in a peaceful location to do some walking and refresh my soul. There is so much more than that at this lovely airbnb! Self-contained accommodation, with fantastic views all around - cows, valleys, farmland, woods; sunrise on one side, sunset on the other! Comfortable bed and all the amenities you need, (too many to list them all!), and some very thoughtful home touches and groceries helped me settle in easily. I took a drive almost every day to walk at various places around the coast, and on the first and last days I walked locally; this is a central location in west Wales, useful to reach North, South and West coasts of Pembrokeshire national park. Diana and Graham were so thoughtful and hospitable, nothing was too much for them. Queenie is a good distance from their house, so I felt independent, but knew they were available if I needed anything. There is phone reception and Wifi (not a huge amount, but enough to check weather, upload photos, plan trips and call home every day). Fresh eggs from their chickens, and as an added bonus Diana offers reflexology (so relaxing!) at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend staying here and will be back!

    M2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • I had an excellent stay at Diana and Graham's place. They were both very welcoming and with the accommodation at the back of the field you also have all the privacy you could hope for. Perfect. You can even park your vehicle next to the accommodation which proved very handy. The photos certainly don't do the views justice. It is a wonderful setting if you want to just get away from it all and enjoy some piece and quiet and take in the scenery. (just a few lovely farm animal noises to enjoy) The accommodation was just as I'd hoped, complete with freeview TV, bbq, and lots of seating outside. An added bonus was that the mobile signal was also decent, 4g internet on EE worked well enough considering the excellent rural location. Freshly laid eggs and milk, butter, tea and a small loaf of bread were a great extra touch. To sum up I would definitely stay again which should say everything you need to know. Thank you Diana and Graham for your hospitality. All the best. Graham.

    Graham2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely caravan with everything you need to have a great stay, stove, shower, outdoor seating. Beautiful scenery and very quiet at night for a great sleep!

    Jo2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Queenie Bach. Diana and Graham were excellent hosts who did their best to make sure my stay was comfortable whilst being sensitive of my privacy. They even kindly supplied me with some goose eggs and chicken eggs freshly laid by there own animals. The caravan is situated in its own meadow area away from the house with spectacular views over the valley and into the distance, which was an unexpected bonus. It was perfectly clean and comfortable and had everything you could want for a short or long-term stay. You don't have to walk very far to find yourself on footpaths that lead through forests and fields that feel quite off the beaten track, so perfect if you like a bit of nature. It's also only a short drive from all sorts of lovely coastal areas.

The Llama Lodge is the ideal place to come and stay for your holidays and short trips in Pembrokeshire and South West Wales. A log cabin comprising of a large living area and kitchen, separate bedroom, and bathroom, The Llama Lodge is utterly unique and original in that it is the only place you can stay while llamas graze nearby. We also offer guests the opportunity to participate in one of our llama treks - message us for more details (must be booked ahead of arrival in most instances)
The Llama Lodge is based at Glanrhydwilym farm - home of the Pembrokeshire Llamas, our 5 star TripAdvisor rated llama trekking experience. Why not book in with us (prior to arrival) to take your very own llama for a walk during your stay? Glanrhydwilym sits snuggly on the side of the wooded valley of Rhydwilym, which in turns is nestled just south of the Preseli mountains and Pembrokeshire National Park. Glanrhydwilym is home to llama farmers Matt and Alex, plus their young son Macsen. In addition to our llamas, also in residence are our two pigs (Boris and Wilym), our eight cats, parrot, tortoise and guinea pigs. We have a free range hedgehog family who are often seen after dark with their baby hoglets in tow. In the warmer months, our family of bats descend from the roof of the main house and soar across the valley looking for food. On a clear night, the Llama Lodge is a great place to star gaze - Pembrokeshire boasts some of the best dark sky opportunities in Britain, and on a good night it is possible to observe the spectacle of the Milky Way or the constellations such as Orion with the naked eye. Also at night, you are likely to hear plenty of owls calling. Depending on the season, they can be quite rowdy! The Llama Lodge has the following amenities: Heating: log burner 20 MBPS Wifi (can be turned off if unwanted) Gas oven and stove Microwave oven Toaster Kettle Fridge Shower Sinks Flushing toilet Hot water Drinking water A travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. A single camp bed can be provided upon request.
  • Our stay at Pembrokeshire Llamas was great. Matt and Alex were very friendly and very helpful. The lodge was cold but there was plenty of firewood and we were also kindly offered a fan heater.

    Jenna2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Completely unique! We absolutely loved our stay here. Nothing quite like waking up to curious llamas chilling outside your window! The lodge is really cosy and comfy and the hosts are really nice.

    Lauren2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time that we’ve stayed with Matt, Alex & the llamas and it was equally as incredible as the first. Hosts are excellent, very accommodating and thoughtful. Looking forward to our next stay already.

    Tj2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Avoiding the obvious attraction.... Lovely cabin. Great fire with lots of wood. Good facilities and great animals with pigs, geese and more. Moving onto Llamaramas.... Who doesn't love waking up to having llamas outside their window?! Fantastic stuff. Also great to look out the bathroom window to see.... Llamas. If you don't like llamas, this place isn't for you. Especially as there are loads of wonderful llama themed touches around the place. We'll be back!

    Dan2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • 100% would recommend staying here. The llamas are so lovely, the place is beautiful and the location is incredible. You have to do a llama trek too while you stay - Matt is an amazing host. If it's the winter make sure to wrap up warm as it can be quite cold in there!

    Karina2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place that is so relaxing. The setting is beautiful and the animals are real characters. If you want to get away from it all this is the place.

    Lee2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were booked here for two nights and what an amazing time we had! The cabin lodge was cosy and relaxing especially next to the burning log fire. The llamas were adorable and friendly and we often found ourselves simply watching them out of the front windows. Matt and Alex were the perfect hosts, with tips on where to visit and they even offered to get the log fire started before we got there! It was the perfect trip away, and one that we would highly recommend.

    Emily2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Llama lodge was a great place to stay for our first airbnb. Even with the long trip from the East Midlands. The llamas will literally come up to your doors and windows in the morning to see what your doing and the cabin itself was really cosy especially when you get the fire going. The llamas themselves are friendly and like a stroke if you approach them correctly. It also has good walks and good places to eat 10-15 mins drive away. Overall great stay👍🏻

  • Lovely little cottage space. Great spot to be in isolation from Corona Virus! We went for some lovely walks close by and one to a high hill in the backdrop. Super cosy and Joyce and her husband were really friendly. Thank you! ❤️

  • We had a very peaceful sleep in the cottage and feeling refreshed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing brake.

  • After corona virus prevented a trip to Tenerife, myself and two girl friends decided to make a back up plan. We switched things up and went to stay at Joyce and Alan’s place in Pembrokeshire, Wales. We were greeted on arrival and had everything we needed, including local tips and fresh eggs. The beds were comfortable and the facilities ideal for what we needed. And ideal location away from all the madness going on out in the real world. We loved getting to meet the animals, Django & Alfie! Such curious and wonderful animals. A special shout out to Muffin who insisted on saying hello to us each evening. Would highly recommend Comfort Cottage for a getaway away from society.

    Kirsty2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Joyce and Alun gave us a lovely warm welcome with some thoughtful touches on arrival. They are really friendly hosts. The cottage is sparkling clean and really cosy. They have a beautiful spot with birds and alpacas on their land. We had a wonderful but short stay.

    Jo2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely annexe 😊 location is lovely, tucked a way so lovely and peaceful. Most things within a 30-40 minute drive. Hosts were lovely.

    Lisa2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely welcome from Joyce and Alan. We found Comfort Cottage thanks to Joyce’s instructions. We had everything we needed and more at the cottage. Although I’m sure if there was anything that we needed Joyce would of helped. The animals are very quiet and the alpacas are very cute. The white one is very curious :) made me chuckle. The stars in the sky are very clear and if we had gone in the summer, I definitely would of sat outside star gazing. We went out exploring in the car and discovered Tenby, which is very picturesque and has everything. Also we visited Pembroke Castle and several light houses. I tried spiritual healing of which I had literally no experience of before. I would recommend it and am glad I gave it a go. I recently lost my father and have had trouble sleeping since, but I slept literally like a log at Comfort Cottage every night! I would definitely visit again!

  • Nothing short of an amazing place to stay... Myself being a travel agent with TUI spend my time looking for suitable places for our customers to stay.....this certainly exceeded my expections..... So good we stayed another day 😁 Joyce was SO hospitable and we had lovely visits from muffin the cutest little cross eyed cat I have EVER seen. My little boy tayne was besotted with her and could have easily brought her home if allowed.. We had geese outside the garden gate daily along with chickens, ducks and alpacas in the small holding opposite. My dad being 86 finds it hard to sleep but admitted he had the best sleep EVER. Joyce I will DEFINATELY be coming again.....hence the reason not turning around to collect my remote control.....be back very soon. Thanks so much both xxxxxxxx

  • We had a wonderful stay at Joyce’s place. She left us a lovely welcome basket with some home made treats and essentials on our arrival. The location is perfect, a lovely tranquil setting close to lots of amenities. The sunsets and sunrise were breathtaking. The cottage is so cosy, lovely and warm and has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped so we had no problem cooking meals. The beds were comfy and everything was really clean. Joyce was a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming and full of local tips. We can’t wait to come back.

The cottage was well equipped and the fire was lit for our arrival, making it a cosy and comfortable place to settle into easily. Bean and Angus were fantastic hosts with excellent attention to detail and great local knowledge. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen basics were provided which was a great touch. We are within easy reach of the lovely beaches at Newport, Poppit Sands Mwnt and Tenby is about 45 minutes away. We are at the foot of the Preseli Hills. There are many reminders of the ancient civilizations that once lived in the area, stone circles, burial chambers and remains of ancient trade routes adorn the landscape. History and legend aside, walking in the Preseli Hills makes a refreshing interlude from the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. The views from the tops seem to go on forever and on a clear day you can see as far as Ireland.
  • Amazing host, such a beautiful cosy place to stay, quiet location, the home had everything we needed, I can’t wait to return hopefully for longer next time it’s the perfect quiet getaway. We thank you very much x

  • Lovely little place. Very private and secluded. Well away from everything.

  • One of my favorite Airbnbs to date - and that says a lot after 10 years of being a guest! Ann was an excellent host; I was greeted with Welsh cake, firewood for a relaxing evening by the fire, and some instructions for walks and wild swimming - probably the best house manual I've seen! The space is gorgeous and well-appointed, very quiet... but the stream that bubbles by the cottage is the icing on the cake! Really relaxing and peaceful. Absolutely heaven. Ann provided some laundry soap and was around if I needed her but left me plenty of space. I loved this stay and hope to be back!

  • This is a lovely hideaway in a beautiful wooded valley, with the sound of running water from the stream(s) ever present. The galleried bedroom is more spacious than we expected, as was the downstairs. The woodburner is easy to light and made our temporary home very snug and warm. We would highly recommend this as a peaceful getaway for a few days.

    Jude2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very helpful, friendly hosts. Accommodation was very clean and stylish. We had a lovely holiday, despite storm Dennis, cosying up in front of the log burner was the best bit! And the dog loved it too!

    Emily2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's place has everything you need whilst you're away from home. Anne's place provides a warm cosy environment with a lovely log burner

  • Get y Nant is so beautiful and peaceful, and Ann is a lovely host. My husband and I had the most wonderful weekend here, and couldn't recommend it enough. Hopefully we will be back again soon! The perfect quiet getaway.

Think it's too cold for autumn Glamping? Think again! This amazing roundhouse is a stunning space with views that look across a secluded wooded valley. Made here at Fron Farm, the roundhouse is beautifully constructed from timber posts, a cordwood floor, turf roof with insulated walls and internal canvas lining. It comfortably sleeps 4 with a large living space and cosy wood burning stove. 2 extra beds can be added to sleep 6. No pets or wifi but plenty of character.
The Rustic Roundhouse is located at Fron Farm Yurt Retreat which in the summer months is a luxury Yurt Retreat holiday destination and in the winter months the roundhouse becomes accommodation for up to 6 people. The Roundhouse is beautifully constructed on our organic farm by Guy of Fron Farm Yurts-a bespoke yurt and roundhouse making business. He has used both locally sourced wood and some grown here on the farm to lovingly build the roundhouse from rustic posts, adding a cordwood floor, a turf roof, waterproof wall covering and insulation to create a comfortable and unusual Glamping space. It comfortably sleeps 4 with a large living space and log burning stove. 2 extra beds can be added to sleep 6. .
The Rustic Roundhouse is an excellent place from which to explore the beautiful countryside and coastlines of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. We are situated within half an hour drive of all coasts and have easy access to the Preseli Mountains and lush valleys of west Carmarthenshire.
  • A lovely stay on Natasha’s farm. Met by Cathy and given a thorough explanation of the Roundhouse. The open fire did well to heat up the space as we had a few chilly nights! One thing to mention, and in no way a criticism (as it is a farm after all) but the shower & toilet block does have some spider guests, some rather large & something I didn’t consider before. Wouldn’t put me off though.. lovely place to stay!

    Hannah2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place to stay, everything felt really easy and on a practical note everything you needed in a great space. The roundhouse is beautiful and so cosy with the big woodburner. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect place to celebrate my partners birthday. I felt so relaxed here, I didn't want to leave. Plus the location is great for accessing different parts of the beautiful Welsh coast.

  • The Earth house is a lovely homely place for an autumnal hideaway. Spacious, and lovingly made. As the summertime kitchen/diner for neighbouring glampers, having it as a home alone stay was ideal for some digital detox time in a beautiful part of Wales. Lovely hosts who set us up nicely. Fresh bread and nature on the doorstep in a unique structure. Thank you for a great stay.

  • We had such a wonderful stay, the place is beautiful and Natasha and her family are very nice. The place is well fitted out so makes a great home from home and Natasha provide a plethora of information! Lovely to hear owls in the night

  • I'm reluctant to review as I don't want others to find this hidden gem! ... But for our 'above and beyond' hosts Natasha and Guy; it's a wonderful place to reconnect with the family in a beautiful rustic and rural setting, with all home comforts but no modern distractions :-)

    Kate2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • I went with 3 friends, and stayed for 2 nights (Friday Oct 27th - Saturday Oct 28th 2017) , we arrived late on the Friday when it was pitch black but we didn't find it too hard to find through using SatNav and the directions given, when we arrived we were all amazed at how nice and "cosy" the place was. I'm 26 and the guys I was with are a few years younger and we all loved it, there was no phone signal/WiFi which probably made the stay better as we remained social with eachother the whole time, we've all said we'd go back and all the locals we did see when we went to visit castles and towns were genuinely friendly and welcoming.

  • Frances and Bill were exceptional hosts and made our stay very special. Morris is a charming space in a glorious setting and we can’t wait to return. There was great communication before we arrived and were greeted and treated very graciously on arrival. We experienced an amazing attention to detail in terms of how Morris was decorated and how many items Frances and Bill had thought to include during our stay. The Hot Tub was perfect with the most amazing views of the night sky and the log burner kept us cosy all night. We had lots of privacy with the security of having the hosts near by if we were to need anything. I truly recommend visiting Morris in this beautiful location either during the winter months or summer.

    New2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great hospitality, cosy and warm shepherd’s hat with many snacks and dvds. Frances Louise is a very sweet host, she took care of showing us everything at the check in.

  • Fantastic location for a total break from the business of everyday life. An escape in tthe countrysife but also near the sea. Beautiful scenery to experience and so much to explore close by. Anything you could possibly need is provided and Frances and Bill were outstanding hosts and extremely welcoming. A cosy, comfortable and very relaxing atmosphere created by all the finishing touches and decor. Marvellous few days away - would highly recommend!

    Elizabeth2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my wife spent our honeymoon here in Morris. Frances and Bill went out of their way to make the place so comfortable and special for us, they even left us a cake and some fizz! Frances and Bill are great hosts; There when you need them, but they give space so you can enjoy everything to yourselves. Their local knowledge is also very helpful as we didn't know the area at all! - I hugely recommend the brewery/Tap room in Tenby! 10/10 - Great place to stay and chill out. Great beaches nearby, and lots to explore!

    George2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Frances and Bill are very warm, friendly and accommodating hosts, The shepards hut has everything you need. If you want it as a base for walking or just a space to relax in front of a camp fire, it has it all, the detail that has been put into the hut really makes it feel like a home from home. We will definately be back and will be recommending to family and friends.

    Dean2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolute gem! Frances and Bill are clearly passionate about where they live and have put so much thought and effort into sharing that with their guests. This was without doubt the most well equipped air bnb I’ve stayed in (before we came I mentioned to Frances that we would be stopping on route to buy Welsh Cakes and she baked us some!). Everything has been thought of and the attention to detail is evident throughout. Great recommendations for local things to do and see and places to eat and the location is beyond beautiful. The hut itself is well laid out with excellent amenities and many thoughtful touches. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

    Nicole2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect tranquil retreat but lots to do and see a short drive away, this place is perfect. This little shepherds hut has everything you could ask for and the hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating too

    Amy-Louise2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! I cannot express to you how much you must stay at Morris! The hut was gorgeous, quaint and totally out in the woods (the only thing you can hear is the stream and birds!) it was just what I needed for a bit of TLC and time to myself. Added bonus was that I could have turned up with just a spare pair of pants and nothing else as Frances had catered to every need - ample food, dvds, games, towels, bbq equipment, outdoor chairs, suncream, shower gel AND a can of G&T in the fridge (to name just a few of the things on hand) I Have already recommended you to anyone who will listen to me!

  • We took two rooms in Seth’s house as opposed to the holiday cottages so this review doesn’t relate to those. If it’s glitz and glamour you are after then this may not be for you. However, if you want to lower your blood pressure then this is a must - it should be prescribed on the NHS! If you want total peace and tranquility, complete silence at night, no light or noise pollution and access to walks through woodland and along the Teifi estuary then don’t miss the opportunity to stay here. This is the only Air BnB I’ve stayed in where you are encouraged to help yourselves to breakfast cereal and tea and coffee is left out for you to help yourselves. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are over that way.

    Hilary2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Seth was an awesome Host! He went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay! I would most certainly recommend Seth’s place to anyone staying in that area! I loved the location of his home in the country setting!

A beautifully converted stone barn set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on a small, quiet farm with access to 3 acres of privately owned woodland and riverside walks. Yr Hen Parlwr, has been skilfully converted by the owners to form a cosy, quiet cottage in a picturesque location at the foot of the Preseli hills overlooking fields and the wooded, riverside valley of Craig Rhos-y-felin, a dramatic rocky outcrop and Neolithic quarry.
The cottage was originally the farm milking parlour with dairy adjoining. The building retains the character of the original design with exposed original stone walls and a slate roof with a vaulted ceilings in the upstairs bedroom. Yr Hen Parlwr sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 large bedroom with three single beds UPSTAIRS Bedroom 1: Three single beds and triple wardrobe. Vaulted ceiling with window. DOWNSTAIRS Open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with large french doors leading out onto the patio and into the garden. The dining area hosts an attractive dining table and chairs and a Welsh dresser. The lounge has TV with digital Freeview and DVD and is comfortably furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with hand made, fitted rustic wooden units and an electric range cooker with additional work surfaces. There is also a large fridge/ freezer, washing machine and a microwave cooker. Bathroom: bath and shower, toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail Bedroom 2: double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, bedside cabinets. Light, airy room with large window. OUTSIDE There is a secure garden behind the cottage with an attractive lawned area backing onto fields and a patio with garden table and seating. The garden is safe for dogs and children. A gate from the back of the garden takes you directly out onto the path around the fields and out into the woodland and moorland beyond. There is ample parking immediately in front of the cottage for two cars.
There is direct access from the cottage garden to Craig Rhos-y-felin and an extensive range of paths and walks along tranquil river banks or through the purple heather and yellow gorse of this beautiful moorland area. There is also an abundance of wildlife. Badgers and foxes are seen regularly on and around the farm and otters play down at the river. Dolphins and seals can be seen off the nearby coast, and there is a wide variety of birds including red kites, buzzards, kingfishers, woodpeckers and barn owls. On the farm, the owner’s sheep and horses will be grazing in their fields behind the cottage. This is a truly unique location with a fascinating history. Geologists have known since the 1920s that the bluestones were brought to Stonehenge from the Preseli hills but it is only recently that archaeologists have been been able to locate the actual quarries from which they came. Craig Rhos-y-felin, behind the cottage, is one of these.

  • Very clean and very stylish. I really loved that Dagmarr had brought bread, milk and juice and that there were daffodils in a vase! There were plates and glasses and a hair dryer shampoo conditioner and body wash; all things that can easily be forgotten so it’s really nice that everything was very convenient and there had clearly been a lot of thought Put into the decor and homely touches!

  • Dragmarr is a wonderful host! She offered a lot of support, as our initial plans changed and we got a bit lost on the way. Her place is so beautiful, full of special details, she even put fresh flowers at the entrance for us. 😁. And I can not praise enough the breakfast, local bakery delicious bread, homemade jams, fruits, yogurt, etc, and the heavenly lemon curd 😁. We felt very spoiled. As for the surrounding...the images will stay with you for a long time. Thank you very much!

My boyfriend & I really enjoyed our stay, even if it was only for one night. Dagmarr is a fab host, really welcoming and had brilliant recommendations for food / walks in the area. We will definitely be back!

  • This is basically a self contained flat. It’s got great views, all the amenities you could want and most of all lovely hosts. Highly recommended.

    Chris2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place is in a separate annex of the house with a porch area where you can eat breakfast. The main bedroom is off to one side with en suite bathroom and there is a small kitchenette area with a toaster, fridge, kettle and microwave. The house is situated in beautiful countryside and is a great place to stay as it is a short drive to lots of places in Pembrokeshire and south Ceredigion. The hosts were lovely, we booked very last minute (we were going to go camping but the weather decided against that!) and they were friendly, helpful and accommodating. It really is a lovely place and we would be happy to stay again! Thank you!

The studio is in a lovely quiet location, very cosy and a joy to come back to and relax in front of the wood burner after a day out walking, dog friendly to, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Lisa's studio for a quirky stay.

It’s located in centralist Pembrokeshire so not by the coast but beaches within an easy 20 to 30 mins drive and nice to return home to a very chilled base. Highly recommended!

  • We are just back from our break in this beautiful home from home. The house has been renovated to an exceptional standard, and was absolutely spotlessly clean. We loved the lovely quirky lighting in the fireplace and bread oven! Very atmospheric. Heather provided us with a welcome pack of basics including bread, milk, butter and some welsh cakes, which were delicious. There was even fresh flowers there too. All rooms are spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. We were able to bath all 4 under 4s in there at once! An exceptionally well thought out family space with all mod cons (including a tv in all 3 bedrooms). We loved the location too. Cardigan is just 10 minutes down the road, with a lovely castle - we recommend the restaurant 1176 too. Fab Sunday lunch. Heather the host also made some great recommendations for local beaches. We loved Mwnt. We look forward to returning in the near future.
