A wonderful, affordable farmstead with welcoming owners. Elena, her husband Willy, and their two children Gabriele and Elisa, treated us as part of the family. Their barn manager, Giovanni, was just as friendly and lovely to chat with. Amongst them, they speak multiple languages, so communication was not an obstacle. We were equally welcomed by the family's dogs, Tiffany and Sophie, who would sometimes sleep in front of our door :) We booked through Airbnb, staying for a full month at a great discount. The room was well-kept with a clean private bathroom. The rustic architecture and green surroundings were beautiful. Situated just outside the town, a half hour's walk (or a few minutes by car) will bring you to the nearest Carrefour supermarket or to the town center. The owners arranged for our transportation from and to the airport, and Elena graciously offered us lifts around the area when it was raining. The farm also boasts a restaurant; the food is hearty and home-cooked, and very reasonably priced (we ate all our meals here). We had access to homemade cakes, tarts, cookies, jams, and fresh butter. When Elena came to know we had certain dietary restraints (namely gluten, egg, dairy intolerances), she went out of her way to stock the breakfast cart with suitable options and to make dedicated pastries and dishes. The farm also serves as a riding school, giving us the chance to take a ride on one of their twenty-eight horses. There's also great terrain for a good jog or countryside walk. La camera era comoda e ben tenuta, con un moderno bagno privato. L'architettura rustica immersa nel verde favorisce il relax. La struttura è situata a poca distanza dal paese di Grignasco. Una passeggiata di mezz'ora (o pochi minuti in auto) porta al supermercato Carrefour o al centro del paese. I proprietari hanno gentilmente organizzato per il nostro trasporto da e per l'aeroporto, ed Elena ha sempre offerto un passaggio in machina soprattutto in caso di pioggia. L'azienda vanta anche un ristorante; il cibo è abbondante e cucinato in casa; i prezzi sono molto ragionevoli (abbiamo consumato tutti i nostri pasti all’agriturismo). Abbiamo avuto accesso a dolci fatti in casa, crostate, biscotti, marmellate e burro fresco di montagna. Laura was really kind and flexible with our schedules. We had a very nice time in the apartment, it's even better than in the pictures, everything was very well taken care of. The house was clean, and well decorated, and Laura provided fans, blankets, anything we needed. No aliments were stored in the house, just some instant coffee and tea; but the house had all the small equipment needed, such as pans, toaster, microwaves, etc. The house is fairly close to beautiful Lago d'Orta, a lake you must visit if you are ever in the area, and other cute towns in the Alps. Overall, we had a great time and we would definitely stay again at Laura's apartment. Riassumendo, in italiano, raccomando l'appartamento, Laura è stata molto gentile.

Our stay at Laura's was outstanding and we would recommend it to anyone. When we first arrived we met Laura's mother who was super helpful and the nicest person to meet. Everyone was great and even though we spoke no Italian Laura's boyfriend helped us tremendously and so did Laura's mother and father. We had a realy nice stay at Lauras place. The place is beautiful and Laura and her husband Simone are both very nice people. We can recommend this place to anyone who likes beautiful surroundings.

Beautifully renovated apartment with a lot of charm and all the amenities you need. Laura's parents gave us a very warm welcome. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding valleys.

Laura and Simone are very friendly and eager to help you in all matters. The place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. As we were travelling by car it was easy to move around (on foot the city center is approx 15-20 mins walk). Parking is available nearby (2 mins walk).

We had a short and sweet stay. The host was really helpful and available for any needs we had. Our apartment was comfortable,clean and quiet with beautiful features throughout, Immersed in beautiful surroundings. We surely will be back again. Thanks

It's a nice and quiet place with clean and basic rooms and bathroom. Araceli is a friendly, but somewhat quiet host, so we kept to ourselves and weren't able to experience much of the life at Villaggio Verde. This could also have been a language thing. The frogs in the pond kept my dad awake a bit, but he really loved the loud but very sweet dog. Wifi was lowsy in the room, and breakfast was very very simple. The coffee was good however.

The B&B is very cozy and perfectly matched to the surrounding nature. Araceli greeted us kindly and served a great breakfast. The things we liked the most are the silence and the beautiful nature that surrounds the village.

Villagio verde is really a quiet and nice place. The room we had was nice and also big and quiet. The only thing you have to think of are earplugs for the night (big frog pond behind the house:-) )

I had a perfekt stay with Araceli in her beautiful home in the ecovillage. I would recommend it to anyone, especially those interested in alternative and green living. Thanks!

Araceli's home is truly a marvel, surrounded by beautiful nature, and the small lake right behind the village. Araceli loves people, so hosting for her is a way of life and she does it perfectly. We had a great experience in the Villaggio Verde (Eco Villagge).

This is a co-operative farm with a few guest rooms, all modern, about an hour from the airport, among dense woods. I arrived early, which was not a problem. The closest restaurant I could find that was open was four miles away near the toll road. There is no cooking, but Araceli made me a nice thermos of tea. If I had had more time, there were nice walks in the woods. The room and bed were warm and comfortable, with an adjacent bath. To use my computer, I fixed up a table.

B&B Villaggio Verde was brillent, just a nice place in the woods, few minutes drive from Lake Orta (which is outstanding) room is comfortable, very clean and spacious. The host Araceli is friendly and helpful. I couldn't have been happier with the experience.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the house was just renovated. The area is nice for walking and biking -- both road cycling and mountain biking. Some restaurants in the area. The house is in a very nice setting surrounded by woods and small farmlands. At night the wildlife (frogs, birds and such) can get rather loud so bring ear plugs if you consider that being noise.

We arrived in a very cute small town where Francesco met us and showed us to his home. It's his family home which is really cool and original. We stayed in the top floor room with a beautiful view. The room is quite large with a nice bathroom. We really enjoyed ourselves and Francesco was a nice guy. We didn't stay as long as we planned as we were visiting friends and could stay with them. The town didn't look like there was much there so bring your own food etc. I guess.

I would recommend to use this apartment for people who like adventure and something unusual. There are many interesting things in the hause, pictures etc. It looks like old house with big history, not far from Milan. It could be difficult to get in winter time because the hause is located in village high in mountains. But it is very beautiful view from balcony. The hause is very big and have a lot of space. But it was a little bit cold without possibility to regular temperature in rooms. Francesco is friendly and hospitable. It was interesting experience. Thanks!

Very nice moment in Francesco ´s villa, his home is absolutly typical and his welcome is very friendly. We recommand you to visit his country for the panoramical view on the mountains at your wake up !

Molto interessante il bagno per ogni camera. Il posto ha una bella vista sui monti ed è a 10/15 minuti dal lago.

Luogo bellissimo, camera molto comoda con vista stupenda e ottima accoglienza. Il posto ideale per rilassarsi e staccare dalla città, un bel paesino vicino a paesaggi meravigliosi di ogni tipo, sia lago o montagna.

We loved our visit to Casa Del Bosco. The house is beautiful, with everything we could have needed available. Claudia is an excellent host and was very friendly and welcoming. The B&B is located in a beautiful village in the hills. To make the most of the area you will probably need a car, there are loads of excellent days out just a short drive away. We had a great time, and loved the Hot Tub to relax in each night. Thanks!

Excellent accomodation by Claudia. We couldn't have asked for anything better, very very cosy home in the woods. If you want to get away from the huatle and bustle, then this is what you're looking for! Being so remote, you'll probably be needing your own transportation, unless you don't go by taxi and then use a bicycle. Whatever you decide to do, rest assured Claudia will do her best so you enjoy your stay and feel welcomed. The very generous breakfast is worth mentioning too!! Can't praise this place enough.

A great little bed and breakfast in a tiny charming little village. Our host was so kind and made sure everything was perfect. She entertained our toddler while we packed up and he loved her! Claudia and family are super sweet and the house is a terrific place in a cute setting. If you're in the area, don't miss it!

This is an absolute gem of a place and the reason why Airbnb is so wonderful. Tucked in a quiet village in the mountains this house is a place of peace, balm for the weary and a joy to be in. The views are fantastic. The facilities were wonderful and the care our hosts gave us made us wish we could pop back each weekend. It is well placed to get to a whole range of wonderful activities with an easy drive, and the hot tub was such a bonus. Book now before this place is swamped. Could not rate it higher!

Casa del Bosco was a wonderful experience. The property is spacious and well equipted and Claudia has thought of everything from aperos at 7pm, a glorious hot tub and a breakfast with delicious fresh cakes. We felt spoilt, well looked after and very lucky to stay there. The huge bedroom also had a beautiful view of the forest. Would highly recommend to a couple or family of four. Beautiful place and beautiful people ! The studio -completely independant- is exactly what you can see on the pictures: decorated with taste, super clean, full of light, surrounded by nature, calm ... The garden is peaceful and offers several comfortables places to relax. Barbara and Maurizio are adorable. They welcome you warmly and depending on what you want they can be totally discreet during your stay or share some moment to offer you very helpful advices. Romantic place for a couple and safe place if you're travelling alone. In 30 minutes from there you can be at Orta Lake or in typical mountains villages (and enjoy the stunning views). Just ask Barbara ;) ! I totally recommend !

Barbara's flat is incredibly beautiful in this natural, minimalist wabi-sabi kind of way. It is important to note that the kitchen and living room are shared spaces, and there's not much privacy in terms of sound in those rooms. She made us hot tea upon our arrival, set up breakfast for us in the morning, and made sure that the warmth of the space was to our liking. The bathtub is a dream, and the natural surrounds are just breathtakingly lovely.

Barbara's studio apartment is charming, and the garden, which I wasn't able to enjoy because it was raining, would be a special treat especially if one had a young child. It was absolutely silent. Barbara had a fire burning in the small fireplace when I arrived to take the chill off and had a beautiful breakfast laid out on both mornings. There is no view from the apartment per se, but it is on the edge of beautiful green fields. Parking on a private street less than 30 meters away was easy. It is a quiet rural neighborhood. In no way detracting from it, note that there isn't anything except fields in walking distance, but I had a car. Also, as depicted in the photos, the bed is not on a raised frame, which was fine by me but someone else might have difficulty.

We loved this place! The house is beautiful. It has a good bed, it's clean and everything is brand new. It's a very romantic place with a beautiful garden, a fireplace and nice villages around. It has good wifi too. But the best of all is Barbara. She is such a sweetheart! She gave us some wine and snacks when we arrived and served us a homemade breakfast in the morning. She helped with everything like booking us a table at the nicest restaurant in town and planning the day. Her english is very good as well! We feel like we made a new friend. Thank you so much! When I was there I was welcomed as I arrived in a lovely way. The time I spent there was amazing it was so relaxed and stress free. The bnb was so very clean and refreshing. Barbara was a lovely host and made me and my son feel very at home.

The experience in Borgosesia was excelent. All result such as was said in the description. Barbara's place was wonderfull. We hope to return here some day. Barbara was travelling and we didn't meet her, but her friend Laura Was so kind to us.
