I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jeanna's. I felt very welcome. I would definitely stay again when in the area!

Wow... What else can I say? The place is near the end of a country road so it is very quiet. The room was very comfortable and also was much larger than it looked online, lots of room to move around. Jeanna did her very best to make me feel welcome and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Peggy was very welcoming calling and checking to see if we made it ok to the house. House is located in a very good and safe neighborhood near downtown.

Peggy's ranch house in Scottsboro was spacious and met most of our needs while visiting family in the region.

We loved everything about this place! It was exactly as described and in a lovely neighborhood. We were 4 women staying together and we felt completely safe and comfortable. Peggy was friendly and very helpful. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The house is spacious and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We spent lots of time outside under the carport and on the patio in the back yard. It's a great place to stay!

Thanks to Peggy our trip was a complete joy. We were traveling on short notice and she accommodated every one of our needs. The house is large, easy to find, and very clean.

This place was great. Off the beaten path but still somewhat in a neighborhood. Rural and a slight drive to any store or restaurant maybe 5 miles. But VERY relaxing and cool. When I arrived 4 wild rabbits were hoping around the backyard and then I walked down to the river and saw a beaver (maybe an otter?). It was so great on the river I sat on the dock almost an hour before unloading the car and relaxing in the clean and well furnished room. Hope to come back again.

Clean bed and nice night's sleep. I needed a crash pad and found a good one.

I only stayed long enough to sleep for a few hours passing through and did not get a chance to meet in person but we communicated quite a bit and she is very friendly and accommodating. Will be staying another night as I pass back through. Looking forward to meeting her. The place is very nice.

Jeanna was very pleasant and made me feel right at home...the room was just as described.

Second stay as I passed back through town. I still unfortunately did not get to meet her due to unforeseen circumstances making my arrival extremely late. She was very understanding and generous and I would have loved to have had the chance to stay longer. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

This was a great place to stay! I just needed a place to crash one night on my drive home and I'm glad I ended up here. They were super friendly and even offered me dinner! the room was nice and the bed was great Definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a great stay here! We stopped in for 1 night and felt very comfortable. Beautiful home, welcoming hosts, quiet surroundings, great price. All around a good place to stop.

Jeanna is such a sweet and peaceful person. Her place is lovely inside and out. Very clean. Her house was a distance away from the event that I was going to, but well worth the trip to be in such a love filled environment.

Our Hostess was a lovely Christian lady who just loves to help others. She ben over backwards to see that we were attended to and provided information readily about the area and gave us discount coupons for an area restaurant. Our accommodations were perfect as well as the bedroom was huge well decorated and resembled a swank hotel suite. Her home was right on the Tennessee river with a nice view and because it was located on a dead end street it was very safe.

The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She even baked an Italian Cream Cake for us. the suite was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The view was the beautiful Tennessee River with a comfortable swing on the boat house.

Very nice places for groups of 4+. Plenty of beds (comfortable) and bedrooms for everyone. Great living spaces, too. Boat landing VERY CLOSE to cottage. Will be back.

We loved staying at Gail's beautiful cabin. The perferct place if you're looking for a wonderful mountain lake getaway!

This was such a comfy and cozy place to stay. The dock is an awesome place to fish and relax. Its also very peaceful and private.

Great place to get away and relax. The dock has a pretty view and is a good place to fish. The cabin is cozy and warm when it's cold out, and fully equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. Looking forward to another trip here, Gail's hospitality was excellent.

Perfect getaway. Truly asdescribed. Steps can be tricky. Not a good choice for mobility impaired. Otherwise perfect.

James was so kind to let us stay overnight to sleep for just a few hours to be at a meeting in Scottsboro the next morning. His house is very welcoming and the bed and pillows in the room where we stayed were amazing and so comfy. We will definitely be back.

I enjoyed my stay. I was here for business, so I needed my own private space where I could do work. This was a great place that met all my needs.

Great nights stay

I so enjoyed my stay at James' house. He accommodated my crazy schedule. Which I'm extremely thankful. The bed was so comfortable & cozy pillows. To be honest the best nights sleep I've every had away from home. I felt very "at Home". I can't wait til my next visit and have Porch therapy on the back porch.

Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay.

James met us upon our arrival to his home. He was very warm & engaging, although we were exhausted after driving 12-hours through the night. He even offered us dinner. His home is located on one of the busier roadways in the area however the road noise had little impact on our sleeping soundly. The room was nicely decorated and large in size. The remainder of his home looked like something out of 'House Beautiful'. He has done an amazing job of renovating most all rooms. The media room is envy-invoking and something we are considering for our own home. Well-done, James!

We loved our stay at James' house. The hospitality was grand and we loved the accommodations. It is our intent to return to sand mountain to stay there again. The theatre room was cool bed was nice and comfy. Very nice kitchen and wrapping deck. Short drive to great food. Or cook right in the house. We had a great time. Thanks

If you want true Southern hospitality, stay at Mill Creek. We had a large group fish a college tournament on Lake Guntersville and brought 8 boats. Before we arrived, Mack took the time to set up 8 different outlets on the car port outside so that we could plug up our boats at night. The house was clean, has a big circular driveway, and had enough space out back for all 8 of our trucks and boats. You can be at a boat ramp, tackle shop, or gas station within 10 minutes. Mack is a great host and I would stay there again if I had the chance.
