Convenient apartment conveniently located

I've spent three days at this lovely appartment and really happy I made this choice! First of all, Thelma is a really nice host: she is very kind, helpfull and was in touch all the time if I had any questions or needed help! Appartment itself is cozy, nice modern looking and comfortable to use. It had everything I needed while my fist trip to Athens. Also location is perfect since it is situated in a really cozy calm beautiful area, but in the same time really close to the subway station. It's pretty easy to get to the city center from there by subway. Also Thelma helped me to order a taxi to the airport quite early in the morning which was really sweet and appreciated. I totally recommend Thelma as a host and her lovely place for staying. When I will travel to the Athens next time, I will defenitely stay here again.

The apartment is as the photos, very spacious, nice and clean. On the other hand although the apartment is a bit removed from Acropolis, it has a good transport system around. Leandros was very attentive all the time and although there were some inconveniences with the heater, he was always attentive and willing to help us at all times. Fully recommended

This beautiful home in Athens was such a joy to be at. Nasir was great with communication and gave us great information when we had questions. The bathtub is so relaxing and the characteristics of the home made it a place we wanted to be at!

Nasir and Nancys place was perfect in every way. Located on a quiet and safe street in Athens. Conveniently located for getting around the city by bus and train. They are very friendly people who immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. The place was spotless and lovely. It's safe to say when you are in Athens this is your home away from home. Nancy & Nasir were very nice and accommodating. Check-in was easy and they let me check in early as soon as I had arrived to Athens. The space was cute and the bathtub really cool. Although the place was only about 7 minutes or so from the train station, obviously it would have been nicer closer to downtown area but I knew what I was getting. The wifi is a rather slow, however, but I was out and about for most of my time, so it didn’t really matter much for me. Toiletries were well stocked.

Nancy and Nasir were great hosts. They were very mindful and were sure to welcome us warmly into their home. From arrival to departure, we had an amazing stay. We felt safe staying there and were able to easily get around by walking to the train station which isn’t too far. My fiancé and I were able to walk around the neighborhood late at night without being worried about safety. It is a quiet neighborhood and no one bothered us. The home itself is so cute and well-designed. Thank you again to Nancy and Nasir for hosting us during our stay! Highly recommended.

Very characteristic house, especially the beautiful bathroom, people are reluctant to leave when they enter. The host is very enthusiastic, and the equipment and supplies at home are very complete. In short, it is a very suitable place for 2 people to stay.

Gina’s place was great. Not far from central Athens, at all. Convenient to metro station and right next to a bus stop. Gina was also a very kind and gracious host who even kept us updated about the local transportation workers’ strike. I’d highly recommend staying here, and would happily do it again.

Georgia's place is delightful, it's as pictured only better, in the sense that everything has been done thoughtfully, with attention to detail and hospitality. Georgia was kind enough to greet us even though we arrived very late, the flat location is super for exploring Athens and there's a friendly cafe just to the right of the front entrance. The flat is spotlessly clean and has all the equipment/amenities one could wish for, for a short stay in the heart of the city. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and would be happy to stay there again.

It was convenient; as it was a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, and and 15 minute bus ride to get to the acropolis (have to hope on train for one stop after bus). Me and my parents decided to stay at Theofilos’ place. We had an amazing time in Athens and he took a really huge part of it. He took us to the apartment from the airport which made the trip so much easier. The apartment is located in the city center really close to the Acropolis (about 5-10 minutes walk), there are so many great buildings to see near by. The apartment was sparkling clean and not to mention the wifi was pretty fast. There’s an elevator which is also really cool. He also took us back to the airport and we would love to recommend his apartment for you all!

Everything is fine, the location is convenient, the check is very well thought out. The apartment is somewhat cold in winter, but there is a heater. Just awesome coffee is brewing nearby ✔️

A nice place. Just for everything that is needed. It is close to places like bars, restaurants, supermarket and not far from the subway. Even if you like to walk you can reach places that way. Cozy, with many preparations, a tourist guide, a map, towels, shompu, soap for crockery. There is no washing machine. Good ventilation

A compact, pleasantly furnished flat in the heart of a residential neighborhood. There is a nice bakery and gyros shop on Nymphiou street, within 5 mins walk from the flat. It's not far from the Megaro Moussikis metro, so travel to the city center and airport is easy.

Stunning place with everything you could ever want in an AirBnB. Agis also had an excellent app set up to check out recommendations for meals and things to do in the area. We even got coffee and wine delivered to the room by using this app. It was brilliant. By far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.

We’ve had such a lovely stay at Agis’s place which has the most incredible view on the Acropolis! Agis was such a thoughtful host with lots of great recommendations and he was very responsive. The location of the flat is ideal to visit the center of Athens by foot. The jacuzzi with its view on the city was the perfect way to end a day of exploring. This was my very first Airbnb stay. Honestly, the absolute best. If you’re looking for some time away, alongside seeing the history of Athens - this is the place! Great place to stay in Athens! Very walkable area in a nice, safe neighborhood. The huge private balcony is a major plus as well. Communication with the hosts was also quick and easy as well.

The Apartment Urban for 2 is a small, super clean, cozy room with a bathroom and a large roof terrace. The bed has a cozy 1.80 huge duvet :) In the room there is a closet with additional kitchen equipment with kettle, coffee maker, dishes and cutlery. George is the local administrator. He is super friendly, has great tips and offers many additional services for little money. The neighborhood is wonderful, lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Metro and buses are easy to reach. Urban for 4 is also yours and offers a great apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen on the same floor! We will be back :)

Very well located apartment, close to the main historical sites and only a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Clean and neat, and the hosts were quick to respond to requests. A great option for 2 people and a child, a little squashed for three adults, but overall excellent value.

We had a nice stay at Odysseas's apartment. It is a short walk (10m) between Victoria Station and Larissa Station, so you have options to get around town without issue. The apartment is safe and secure with elevator and check in was PERFECTLY SIMPLE. Wifi worked great and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Odysseas is a kind and professional host and quick with communication and help if needed. Perfect for short city breaks and we had a great time and would come again! The flat is 2 blocks from the metro station and that alone was perfect for us, you can be anywhere in the city within minutes. The flat is pretty comfortable, check in was beyond easy and it was a great experience.

This place is awesome! It was very easy to get to from the airport via bus (which is awesome for thrifty travelers - Uber costs 45+ euros, bus cost 6euros). It has everything you need from towels, blow dryer, iron, washer, water boiler and a smart tv! It is also conventionally close to tourist attractions. Overall, I would stay here again.

GREAT CITY VIEW; VERY FRIENDLY HOST We booked V's place on a very short notice. We were already in Athens but had to move out because of a bad experience with another apartment. As soon as we did the booking V contacted us. Although the apartment was not ready (because of the very short notice) V suggested that we can leave our stuff in the apartment and he took care of the rest in a couple of hours. V's wife met us in the apartment's lobby and did us a tour of the apartment. She was also very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean and had a great view to the city. The neighborhood was also safe and quiet.

It's a small but confy place with an amazing view from the 13th floor over the northern side of Athens, and also away of the busy, crowded, and noisy traffic of Athens downtown. We definitively recommend this place.

Cosy apartment in interesting neighbourhood. Elpidoforos was really helpful with pointing us to good spots for eating or hanging around between sightseeing sessions.

Everything was great - so glad we stayed here. First of all, everyone should be greeted on arrival at an airport by someone like Christos (thank you Christos!). We usually take public transport from airports (and did take the metro on our return to the airport, which was very straightforward) but treated ourselves to a pre-arranged car pick-up on arrival (easily arranged through Homer and Isabella). A friendly welcome, info about sites of interest as we entered the city, and he also handed over the keys making sure we could turn them in the locks before he left us! Door to door service - perfect. The apartment itself has a lovely, welcoming feel to it - comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated and with all the amenities you could want. It feels like it's 'your place', not somewhere where other people have stayed before you, and will do after you've left! I only wish we'd had more time to enjoy it, especially the little outside terrace - hopefully next time!! Location is also great. We specifically chose Koukaki and were happy we did. It's walking distance to main sites but we actually spent as much time as we could in the local area. There are excellent cafes, bars and restaurants (the pastry shop on the corner at the top of the road is good for breakfast - and late night snacks! - and we managed to get to the excellent Lolos on Geor. Olimpiou twice during our short stay!!), an antique/knick-knack/house clearance-type shop up the road which is great for a rummage (the resident Jack Russell will make you feel very welcome!), and a number of artisan shops for jewellery, ceramics, clothes etc. You also get a great view of the Acropolis if you walk up Filopappou Hill. (We did so in daytime; walking up through an unknown wooded hill at nighttime did not seem particularly sensible.) Finally, Homer and Isabella are perfect hosts. Communication is instant and easy and the information provided beforehand concerning travel, access etc. is useful and thorough. There is also a folder with general information and detailed info concerning recommended restaurants throughout Athens and so on in the apartment. Restaurant info was also forwarded via Airbnb messaging, which I thought was a nice touch as we could have that with us while out and about. All in all, a great place to stay. If we return to Athens (which I would like to!), I would definitely try to stay here again.

Great place for a couple’s getaway! The apartment is in the perfect location, close to restaurants and historic sites. It was quiet in the evening and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts provided information about local venues that come highly recommended. They were quick to answer questions and provide guidance. In addition they offered us a professional driver, Christos, for airport pickup and return which made our stay easier. He pointed out many of the sites on our drive and provided additional information about his city. I’d select this BNB again without hesitation.

Homer & Isabella’s place is a beautiful space. We were only there for one night but it felt just like home. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is great. We had one small issue with the toilet when we arrived (it did not flush), but we received a very quick response and the issue was resolved within 30 minutes of our arrival, which was perfect! After we checked out the next day, we walked to the Acropolis area, which was close to a 20 minute walk-good exercise. We loved our short stay and recommend it to anyone staying in Athens.

We loved the Romano’s place. It is charming studio in the middle of lush plants. Romano and his parents welcome us with great hospitality and serve us homemade wine, pies and olive oil from their own olive trees. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. Farmer’s markets in the street below on Saturdays was a nice suprice. You can get there fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, eggs and other high quality fresh stuff straight from producers.

For character and charm this home was of the highest level. Not your ordinary rental. A warm friendly welcome on arrival, along with home cooked food and juicy oranges in the fridge. We can’t say enough good things about this place! Romano and his family go out of their way to make you feel welcomed; from cooking homemade dinner for us the night we arrived, bringing toys up for the kids to play with to taking the time to recommend places to eat and neighborhoods to explore! The apartment is lovely and the gardens are beautiful. The neighborhood itself is unique and we really felt like we got to truly experience Greece here. Everyone was friendly and so nice to our children.

We had a great stay at Charis’s apartment. It is in a perfect location to explore the city, just a few minutes walk from the major sites and many restaurants. Communication was prompt both before and during our stay and Charis was helpful whenever required. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Athens in the future.

The location just around the Acropolis and its metro station is just perfect but the view, either from the apartment and the small personal balcony or the shared roof top terrace, is incredible! Charis is providing whatever information needed in a matter of minutes or even seconds and gives valueable advice on the places to be in Athens. We had a great time in this apartment and would recommend it to everyone

Great place to stay in Athens. Perfect location - super close to everything you need. We didn’t use public transport once! The hosts are very friendly and the complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Ksenia was a perfect host and her place was absolutely perfect for our trip. It was about a 20 minute walk from the acropolis and all of the shops, which we enjoyed after having a few too many mid day snacks. The walk was easy and the location to other bakeries and restaurants was perfect. This place was perfect for our trip and we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place in a quiet street. Near a minimarket, a bus stop (routes 25.26 and like 27) from the Panepistimio metro, and can be walked in 10-15 minutes. The apartment is clean and comfortable, the water is hot, the internet is good. In February, it wasn’t cold with heating. Ksenia answers quickly. In general 5+, I recommend.

The apartment was immaculate. All perfecfom Ksenia is very attentive, I even let myself store my luggage because I had no new guests until noon. She is very detailed. Enough hot water, it came to me without problem. I spent a little cold the first night because some air enters through the window but the second I got more blanket than Ksenia had and everything was great! I would repeat without a doubt

Very cozy place to stay in. Comfortable sized bed, nice terrace, nice bathroom, everything you need in a kitchen, good communication with the owner. Buses that go to the centre leave in front of the house. Overall a 10/10 from me Someone said in their review that there was no available hot water, which is false. I left the switch for hot water on for ten minutes and it was almost boiling hot. (Which I prefer by the way) Great value for the price too.

The location is perfect, right next to a lot of small bars, restaurants, hotels and metro stations. The place itself is decorated with a lot of style and feels so cozy. Stefan was an excellent host and he provided us with all kinds of tips for the town. Would definitely stay there again, next time I go to Athens

Excellent Experience fantastic location, right beside the great restaurants of Athens and many sight seeing landmarks close by. The added benefit is that it's right beside the metro for the airport as well so a good place to arrive and depart easily. The description is exact and is perfect for a short term stay as it is a hotel suite style place (no kitchen, but there is a small fridge which is useful). So central I will be back.

Dimitri was excellent, always answering on time, I help my parents get a taxi and know where to go. The place was in a great place, very close to the center, cleanliness and comfort were great. My parents are very happy with their stay.

The location is very convenient. To the Acropolis 15 minutes on foot through the wonderful streets. Nearby everything you need: coffee, shops and even a copy center. Parking is free and free near the house. In the apartment you will find everything you may need, as well as a wonderful, huge terrace. Thanks for the hospitality)

This is a very sweet apartment with nice facilities and views from the terraces. This location is prefect as well, very close to sightseeing. Dimitris is super warmhearted, he prepared a book for all information about this apartment that makes my trip easy and wonderful.

A perfectly cosy little space for when you want to keep it simple but still feel very at home. If we'd had warmer weather we never would've left that terrace! I even risked doing yoga out there in 6 degrees one morning just to feel the space and the sun rising over us. The place was kitted out for these emergency cold weathers though, despite being a summer haven, there was a heated blanket under the sheet on the bed, and a cupboard full of huge thick fluffy quilts and extra blankets, plus a small heater in the bedroom. Delightfully clean with a thoughtful bottle of wine in the fridge which we enjoyed over the week after long days of walking before going out to experience the local restaurants (many great recommendations left by Dimitris, our favourite was Fabrika, and we went there twice!). We were super glad to not be right in the middle of town as it was so much more peaceful and felt very safe, plus we could park a rental car with no worries. A perfect space for a couple or solo traveller, no frills, just sweet, clean & cosy.

The location was good in a very fashionable place. In summer it was even better to use the veranda.

It was great! Sokol's apartment is tiny, but nothing is missing! The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need. There is a small balcony and the roof terrace offers a wonderful view of the Acropolis. Everything is squeaky clean. Check-in is well explained and easy. Sokol asks every day how you are doing and is also happy to give good tips. If you arrive at night, you can have Sokol's friend pick you up by taxi. This is a little cheaper than with another taxi. The apartment is very central, about 7 minutes on foot to Omonia Square. Everything can be reached on foot or by public transport. Sokol's apartment is highly recommended.

Brilliant hosts. Easy to check in. We had car hire and there was free parking on the street. We arrived on a Sunday and supermarkets were closed. The apartment was clean and great value. The hosts were superb!

Our Athens trip was great thanks to our airbnb. We had everything we need in the house. The place was really clean and cosy. Stelios and Sandy were great hosts, they replied in a minute and gave us all the information that could be useful. The most important thing is that the location was great. Really close to the metro stations and only 4 stops away from the city center

My holiday in Greece was pleasant also thanks to Natalia and it was a real pleasure to meet her, smiling very helpful and present at any time. Her accommodation is clean and warm and practical, simply a shower can be transformed into a sauna, located in the central alleys of the capital and surrounded by appetizing bars and restaurants at a good price. Council apartment, I take this opportunity, a warm greeting, Natalia:)

Lovely, compact apartment in nice block, perfect for short break on a budget. Check in easy, airport transfer easy and cheap ( good directions from Natalia). There is half hour window for checking in so plan ahead, cost of late arrival is reasonable anyway. Walls aren't paper thin, you can hear there are neighbours and marble hallways amplify sound in corridor (Greek religious music on Sunday am was nice - go with it, you're visiting next to someone's home). Recommended: Bread Factory - round the corner - 3 meals a day for less than 15 euros! Lovely Kiermio/ Bios - local bars, lively and cool House- Deli restaurant in Monastraki recommended by Natalia - careful if ordering lots of small dishes - they're all big dishes! Beeraki - our favourite, walking distance from appt. Authentic restaurant with great food, live music and raki! We paid €20.50 for (too much) food, a beer, 500ml red and raki!!! Try it. Be aware The area is fine but we did take shortcut down Sophocles street on the way to the centre and did feel unwelcome and that we needed our wits about us, uncomfortable if you're not confident.. Pavements - no win no fee claims for lethal holes, raised slabs etc have not made it to Athens, watch where you walk A brilliant weekend in a lovely appt, gave us a real feel of Athens, Natalia was a great host. Highly recommended!

Hot water with good pressure, everything is clean! No soundproofing can be said! The screams of children, dogs and the door knocking are all heard late into the night

Evan and Anetta’s house is located in one of the best neighborhoods. It is very easy to reach by with public transport or taxi. It is surrounded by supermarkets, stores, restaurantes and much more! The highlight of this apartment: the amazing view of the Acropolis!

This place was really nice. The location is perfect. It is a 2 minute walk from Monastiraki station which is a plus if coming from the airport and it also located in a place with tons of cafe and restaurants right at the building entrance. The place was super clean and it was an easy check in. The only downside was the tiny bathroom but it was not that bad. And can we talk about that view 😍

You absolutely cannot beat the location of this place. As described, it’s right in the heart of the area on a walk street not in the commercial square. Walking distance to to everything. Shops and restaurants down below. Very safe. Beautiful balcony with a view of the Acropolis. I highly recommend!!!

Great location , small studio situated in a great location for tourists ( be careful of pick pockets very busy area but you expect that with any main tourists spot ) . I didn’t see host at all but she was very quick to respond to questions I had and was kind to set up a taxi for me the night before I left . A great stay for a visit in Athens !

Just as advertised. First thing we saw was The Acropolis! Cute room. Very adequate for two of us. Even added a flashing Christmas Tree. Was precious. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment, great design, interesting ideas put into it, super clean, amazing location, a bit noisy as it's on a busy street, not an issue for me, just beware if you are sensitive to noise while you sleep- have earplugs and you will be grand. Communication was fantastic, every detail explained on how to find this place, any question was answered thoroughly. Totally recommend.

This flat is unique! It seems to be in Alice Wonderland! Its position is fantastic and allows you to visit the whole city centre just walking! We really suggest it!

Best location amazing apartment

The room was fantastic. I felt like i was in my own small fortress! There is everything you might need. Location is great. A bit noisy due to the car traffic but nothing that bothered me because it felt extra comfy!! Thank you. Will be returning back!
