Great house in a cozy atmosphere.

A very nice place. Homely chalet, nice living room. The bedrooms are very basic, not all with private access (you have to pass through other bedrooms to get out). Nice communication. Equipment should be checked again (we had two chairs broken, some breathtaking wiggle).

The most beautiful location tucked up in the mountains, this is a real Heidi hideaway. You are literally on top of the world, backing on to the forest and incredible for morning runs and hikes. The house is large and comfortable with lots of places to sleep, relax or read a book. You can enjoy a BBQ with a view and the house has everything you need, from a great stove, to a dishwasher for the reluctant dish washers and a fondue pot and raclette machine to enjoy the Swiss experience. Down below in Rossinière you can purchase a bottle of wine or bread. Or visit the Balthus museum. Or visit Sapalet a family cheesery. Didi met us and showed us around, she is lovely and explains everything. This is definitely a place to visit if you enjoy the rustic and remote. We will be back.

A fantastic place if you want to get away from it all. Let's you enjoy a beautiful scenic view of the mountains while staying in a rustic, traditional and authentic lodging experience. The place was clean and well prepared. But do expect a few insects and spiders (nothing scary or dangerous) here and there, which is absolutely normal when staying at the heart wilderness. Hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive throughout. All in all, it was a great experience and we left wanting more.

The terrace is everything we hoped for! You can’t ask for a better view of the mountains and lake. Perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sunset. Hans was a greats host. Very responsive to our questions and even brought croissants in the morning.

First, one couldn’t want for a better location in the picturesque town of Vevey. Hans-Jorg’s place overlooks the gorgeous Lake Leman ringed by majestic alpine peaks, many still snow-capped as of June 1. There are abundant numbers of small, inviting shops and good places to eat within a short walk—indeed, our suite sat atop the popular Zu Fork restaurant. We rented the rooms—one large bedroom, one small one, bath, and well-appointed shared kitchen—that led onto an expansive rooftop deck that brings one even closer to the lake and the spectacular views. So, in terms of setting and the rooms themselves, the place represents extraordinary value. We did encounter a brief issue with noise and were gratified by Hans-Jorg’s immediate help in resolving the situation and thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our stay. We would happily stay there again should the opportunity arise. In brief: highly recommended!

The apartment is located at one of the most peaceful and beautiful towns of Lac Leman. The shared terrace offers stunning views to the lake. As does the well-equipped kitchen also. The apartment has everything for a private and cozy stay. The check-in and check-out were one of the most convenient ones in my AirBnB history. Hans-Jürgen takes his profession as an AirBnB host very seriously. You will feel very welcomed, and your stay will be ensured to be as comfortable as it ever can. You can walk almost everywhere from this location, and buses, ferries and trains are also nearby. The apartment is very quiet overall.

We were there for the second time and certainly not the last time. It's just wonderful to sit in the kitchen or on the terrace and look out over the lake.

Great accommodation, especially the location with views of mountains and lake (even from the bed!), The beautiful terrace for shared use, and the charming decor. Ideal for exploring the lake promenade and old town. In the kitchen (again with a view of mountains and lake) you will find everything you need. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. Also, the small grocery store, which belongs to the complex, is highly recommended. Good public transport connection (2 bus stops to the train station). A bus goes to Montreux and Villeneuve. The station can also be easily reached on foot. Hans-Jürg is very nice and has shown me everything and explains. Communication was great.

A simply spectacular terrace and views!

We enjoyed our 5 nights in Maira’s apartment. Great location right next to the metro. Maira was not there to meet us but provided very detailed instructions about how to check in which I liked. The apartment is a studio but the bed is separated by tall cabinets. Nice bed. Everything worked. The apartment has very few electrical outlets so you have to set up extension cords (provided) to make coffee, use the microwave, or wash clothes. The washing machine works fine and there is a drying rack provided. Towels were a little thin. The apartment is adjacent to the metro but the windows block out all the noise so it’s quiet.

Maira's place was a cute little studio suitable for my needs as traveling for work. It was extremely close to public transport (literally right outside the window!) so that was very convienient. Lausanne is beautiful; definitely recommend walking down the hill to the lake front and going for a walk around.

Very convenient location, however it can get a bit noisy especially at night with all of the traffic noises outside. There is a fan however which can help drown out the noise from outside. Overall, had an enjoyable stay!

Maira’s apartment is a little gem! It was so comfortable and well appointed. It was noisy during the day, being so close to the metro station, but when we closed the windows and shutters at night, it was very quiet.and the location was so convenient to everywhere we wanted to go, via walking or the metro. We would love to stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting of Spyros’s home. Steep driveway so be careful! I especially appreciated his quick responses and always being available to assist with any information even when it did not relate to the accommodation.

We had a lovely Christmas at Bendrie's place. It is clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We aren't skiers but we drove to a nearby ski resort (Les Diablarets, 50 mins drive) with Bendrie's 2 sleds and had a great time sledding. We had seen a few reviews saying the road was difficult but we were pleasantly surprised - it's no worse than any mountain road.

The apartment was really clean, cozy and very well decorated. There is really everything in terms of equipment and utensils. It is well located near the city center and all attractions. One downside, the poorly insulated apartment, you hear everything. But the neighborhood is very quiet :)

The house and the amenities are really awesome. From Glion Station to Home, the distance is really short, but if you guys are thinking to walk down the lane i would like to suggest that you take a cab, as you will b walking up the lane not down. There is a slope and if you have 2 or more suitcases it would b difficult for you to walk the distance. Else the house and the host are really nice and helpfull.

I highly recommend this host. The room is independent and allows entry and exit without problem. There is everything you need (WiFi, TV, coffee maker, kettle ...). The apartement is very warm and the room is comfortable. At first I was a bit concerned that it might be noisy due to proximity of the train lines, but it turned out to be very quiet. I slept most nights with the window open despite it was below zero outside it being December. All amenities work exactly as they should. Nespresso machine takes capsules and makes delicious coffee.

I recommend entirely to anyone who wants to stay at Robert, very well received and can be counted on his attention for any vesoin.La situation is excellente because it lives near the station, the center of the city and the lake.

Laura's apartment is peaceful, quite and furnished to a very high standard. The lovely views over the lake and mountains made this perfect spot to relax. The bed was superbly comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen spotlessly clean. The apartment was always warm, and we sat on the balcony to enjoy the evening air. There are also small supermarkets and bakeries within walking distance. The apartment itself is about a mile (1.6km) from the main railway station, but it is quite hilly and steep to walk in places with heavy bags. An Uber cost about CHF15 to the station. There is also a bus stop directly outside the apartment (on a one way street). We took a bus down to Lutry, and walked the foreshore of the lake to Saint Sulpice (about 7 miles/11 kilometres). It's a great walk in sunny conditions.

This wonderful apartment is located in a quiet area, near the city center. You immediately feel good there. Laura is a lovely host who takes great care of the people she receives. The apartment, whose interior architecture is absolutely perfect, is bright, clean and spacious. The bed is so soft that it is hard to leave it. The view of the lake and the Alps is breathtakingly beautiful! The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the dining area is comfortable. The parking space is an added advantage in a city that has few. One of my best Airbnb experiences that I highly recommend.

A delightful stay. Truly a super place very near our offices. For one of the first times in my career I walked to work. And LOVED it. Why have we been pushing for bigger bigger bigger stuff. When all along, a smaller, thoughtfully designed place is so much healthier. I treasured my stay and cannot wait to move to Lausanne now. Such a nice couple too. So friendly. Minimalism and design quality is by far my biggest button. Lovely.

Our time with 2 nights in Lausanne was over very quickly. But we saw a lot in Lausanne. With our car (about 15 minutes) was not a problem for us. The apartment was very good. We were very happy with our children (2). The beds were comfortable enough. Free parking - very helpful. Going up without an elevator - no problem, a few kilograms down after New Year's Eve was also a must. Arriving by car was very easy when we received a video instruction from the host. Everything was fine. Thank you.

Beautiful and modern apartment. Check-in was very easy and fast. The apartment is a couple of stops away (around 10 minutes away) from the Place de la Riponne with the bus, but if you have got a car you shouldn't worry about the apartment's location at all. We spent 4 nights studying for our finals and there is not a better place to unwind and enjoy the calm of Lausanne than le Mont-sur-Lausanne. Amenities are a plus. The apartment is equipped with a curved, smart TV plus furnished kitchen, coffee machine... Thank you very much Asnake for the hospitality! We will be recommending this hidden gem for sure ☺️

Juan's place is a surprisingly nice place right next to the metro station. Everything was clean, we had enough space, we LOVED the balcony on which we enjoyed breakfast and dinner (in early February!) with a wonderful view on the lake and the mountains. Wonderful place to stay when visiting Lausanne - perfect location

This is a great little place right near the lake and the metro. Clean and snug, the apartment stays warm all winter. Juan gave us great tips and was very helpful!

The facilities were really good. It’s a nice house with everything you might need including extras like a great entertainment system for watching movies. However, I would recommend you to grab a coffee and enjoy the amazing view from the balcony over lake Geneva. One remark: At time visit Feb 2020, the house looks not finished yet. Means there are constructions but main rooms and facilities are fine. No construction work during our stay. Positiv: +parking +view +kitchen +entertainment system +communication with owner +checkin (self checkin)

Our stay went very well. Max was very accommodating and very responsive to the messages. There is a bus stop in front of the front door to go to the city center and a Migros and Coop at 2min walk. The accommodation was well equipped and very clean, we really enjoyed it, I highly recommend it!

The place is small but very well organised. Location is very near to Lausanne main station and metro station Bessieres. Host was very helpful. This was a great Airbnb experience. Francesca picked me up at the station, the apartment was clean and well equipped. I felt a bit like at my grandmothers place but I really liked it. There was even a small patio. Super good value for money.

Francesca is a dream of a host. She waited 2 hours in rush hour traffic when my train was so late coming from Paris. Her place is so cute and cozy and spotlessly clean. She will make you feel comfortable right away and you’ll feel right at home there. She has a really nice back garden for sitting out which is nice. Her place is right on the bus route but get off at the Flon area which is really their city center where all the night life is. The bus route will take you out to Lutry if you do the whole route. She’s only 3 stops from the metro which takes you to the waterfront in minutes. Great for a couple or solo traveller. I highly recommend Francesca. Her place is excellent value in a very expensive country.

The landlord is very attentive and eager to answer questions. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The location is very convenient, 5 minutes walk from the subway station, and 10 minutes by subway to the train station.

The room is very cost-effective and the basic facilities in the room are complete. Although the location of the room is not in the city center, it is next to the M2 subway line, it is very convenient to go, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and the lake from a distance.

Waleed's place is great! It goes well with both short and long term stays. We have stayed for more than a month and it has been a real pleasure. Lately also the couches have been replaced to make it even more comfortable. Location is perfect to reach the city centre, 10 minutes in walking distance. The apartment is very clean with weekly cleaning occurring for long stays. Waleed has been a very reliable host, always available, ready to answer any query or question we might had. Definitely recommended!

Léman‘ s place is beautiful and very clean. It was a little small for two adults and 1 child but would be a perfect fit for a couple. The rooftop patio was lovely for views at sunset. Very nice neighbourhood with little cafés and pastry shops not far. We walked all over the city. Everything was within a 30mn radius - from the piscine Bellerive to the Cathedral. Be prepared for some hills! We would definitely chose Léman’s place again when we return to Lausanne.

This accommodation was very comfortable and well thought out, in the sense that it offered all the facilities that one might need. It was like being in a very good hotel room, but in 2.5 rooms! Ideal for a stay of maximum 3-4 people provided you do not have too fragile back (the sofa bed is not super comfortable). The building is narrow and does not contain a lift or place to park strollers so plan to build muscle if you travel with young children! Nice bathroom, deco very nice and very clean. The magnificent park of Mont-Repos is just next door and you are 10 minutes from Saint-François. The apartment is on the road but it is well soundproof and I did not hear the neighbors either. A very nice place where I will come back, if I travel alone again with my daughter!

The check in and check out were very easy and flexible. The view from both the balcony and rooftop were breathtaking. The rooftop was amazing! The apartment was very clean and functional yet cozy.

Great place, fast communication and value for money

Christian's studio is fully consistent with the description. It is very well located, roughly equidistant between the University of Lausanne and the city center. You will easily find the main amenities nearby. Christian is proactive in communications and will facilitate your arrival. I recommend without hesitation.

Christian is an accommodating, courteous and friendly host. The studio is well organized and very clean. The location is great, just minutes from the train station and within walking distance of Lake Geneva and the Pyramids of Vidy. My short stay at Christian was great.

Absolutely incredible little flat in the middle of amazing vineyards, near the lake, and with mountain views. Great location with walk-able access to groceries, restaurants, and wineries. Andre was fantastic and helpful with any questions we had and his flat is incredibly clean. Best AirBnB weve ever been to!

André's place is amazing As described, it is a little paradise. Amazing view, all what needed inside the house. Great touch that you can purchase local wine straight from the fridge. The light makes place super cosy. Views are absolutely stunning. Andre also has lots of tips for trips and local places.

This was hands down the most beautiful property I have ever rented on Airbnb, both inside and out. I could have stayed on the balcony all day long to enjoy the outstanding views all around. I will definitely be back!

It was a really nice stay, Brigitte and Jean-Jacques are very friendly and easy to communicate. The kitchen was equipped with enough cooking stuff and space, plus a big fridge.

The apartment is sparkling clean, fully equipped with appliances, furniture,etc and is located about 200m from the Romanel stop for the LEB train. The LEB train takes you straight to the heart of Lausanne without any difficulties. Brigitte offered to meet me in the station after I arrived and helped me get on my feet. Brigitte & JJ were easy to communicate with, always replied quickly on the mobile app and did everything possible to make my stay spectacular. I'd recommend this place to anybody!

Small but perfect apartment right in the center

This is a great deal on clean, comfortable accommodations in Lausanne in an excellent location. An easy walk to the Metro gets you to the train station fast. Edison is quick to respond to questions, and always polite and helpful.

The location is very good, the kitchen has basic supplies, and there are coop supermarkets, shopping malls, markets, and convenient transportation.

We had a great stay at this accommodation! The main reason for our stay were the youth olympic games in Lausanne, the place is close to the ice rink as well as the city center, we were able to walk everywhere even though there is also a bus stop right in front of the building. The check in was easy and convenient and I would definitely stay here again.

No problems during this stay. The communication with the hosts is and the arrival procedure is precise and well established, which makes them very efficient. The accommodation is spacious, well heated, clean and functional. The decoration is warm and it feels good. The location is ideal. There is a parking space for parking, a supermarket is close by and the bus runs across the street. We recommend this accommodation!
